Laptop Upgrade Question
look at the xps m1530. And yes, aside from being a significantly more powerful laptop then the alienware, that dell computer will be significantly thinner and lighter.

Laptop Upgrade Question
what computer are they getting and how much are they spending? You can get a much better computer for quite a bit less money from several different companies - alienware computers are very overpriced.

Gun control/i think i scared a few people
What part of "most guns used in crime are illegal" don't you understand? Besides, while military issued ammo there is regulated, ammo can be cheaply and easily bought at a regular gun store or shooting range. How is the right to self defense somehow outdated? All 10 of the amendments of the bill of rights are important, basic human rights. Getting rid of any of them would be a huge step back for society. My point is that banning objects is useless in preventing crime. Sure, crime will continue without banning guns, but banning them does nothing to reduce crime (or even raises crime rates in some situations)

Gun control/i think i scared a few people
Source? Until you provide me that, just look at the chart I provided earlier in this thread, which showed that countries where weapons were legal violent crime was 5 times lower then in countries like the UK where a gun was difficult to legally get. Even in countries where guns are very difficult to legally get (like the UK), people still manage to get them. With some steel pipe from a hardware store, a manual downloaded off the internet and some basic tools you can make your own guns and ammo. Even in countries where guns are illegal, people still get killed at rates just as high as in countries where guns can be bought at walmart (again, read homicide rates of UK vs US). There, people are constantly using knives to kill each other just as effectively as guns can. While it may change tactics up a bit, humans are far too creative and determined to kill each other to actually find a way to ban all weapons. That is the entire point of the anti gun control argument. If the only guns used in crimes are illegal ones (and again, only a very small portion of guns used in crimes are legally purchased in the US) then whats the point of regulating legal arms? Aside from being unconstitutional, bans on legal guns have been shown to be ineffective in cities like Washington DC, where a (recently struck down) law was in effect banning all handguns inside the city. Despite that, DC had one of the highest murder rates in the entire US. The US department of Justice: http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/guns.htm About 85% of guns used in crimes are bought illegally. Sure, why not. First off, we have Switzerland, where almost all males between the ages of about 18 and 50 have a select fire assault rifle issued to them as part of their militia service. Despite the fact that practically everyone in the country has access to guns, (2 million weapons for 7 million people) it has one of the lowest murder rates of industrialized countries in the world - In fact about the same as Japan, where gun ownership is totally illegal (source: http://homepage.usask.ca/~sta575/cdn-firearms/Gov/morrison2.html) Additionally, while there is more crime in general in the US, it is also a MUCH, MUCH bigger country. Ireland has a population of about 6 million people (Source - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ireland) while the US has more then 300 million citizens. Beside that, show me an actual source that says that its been four years since a burglar broke into a house (which I highly doubt). I don't see how people lose common sense and somehow believe an inanimate object used to defend innocent people's lives somehow causes crime. Guns DO NOT cause crime, people DO. Fix the people problem, and you will fix the crime problem. Banning weapons only infringes on the basic human right to self defense, as has been shown in numerous countries it is totally ineffective in preventing crime (you British tipiters out there, look at your newspaper headlines, "ANOTHER PERSON KILLED BY KNIFE VIOLENCE!", obviously banning guns hasn't worked out too well, eh?)

Major iPod Problem
If it's still under warranty, it will probably be covered. Apple is legendary for their no-hassle warranties. If it is not under warranty, it will not be covered.

Looking to Build a Computer
All of the parts you need should be included in Nadril's package. If you want, you can buy aftermarket fans but because you are not building an extremely powerful, extremely power hungry rig the factory standard ones should do fine.

No. All the official Runescape client is is internet explorer with the toolbars removed. It is not possible to make it run through another browser, such as firefox.

Gun control/i think i scared a few people
What? Around where I live, guns are legal and easy to get and I am perfectly safe. I have three guns mounted on my wall in my room, several of my neighbors have guns and there is practically no crime. Honestly, when people are armed criminals are so scared of getting shot that crime generally goes down. The last time a house in my neighborhood was broken into, the burglar got a face full of buckshot. The statistics of crime just don't support the idea that somehow more guns = more crime. Look at the link thekiller posted. In most of the US just about any type of gun can be bought from a store with nothing more then a background check. There, the per capita violent crime rate is lower then in Australia and especially the UK, where guns are extremely hard to get legally. Obviously you have not read the news stories then. In the UK, where guns are practically banned, people are consistently killing each other with knives; an object any sane person would agree cannot be just banned. For robbing stores, airsoft guns that look similar to real guns have been used to great effect to rob stores. Hell, there has been several incidences of people killing each other with cheap wallhanger Katanas. Humans are just too crafty and determined to kill each other. Hell, with some basic tools, some metal pipe from the local hardware store and some instructions available on the internet as well as a few free hours of time you can make your own rifles and ammo out of household objects. I'm even considering making one of these guns for a project of mine. Regulating inanimate objects is just not a useful way to reduce crime. Only about 1% of the guns used in crimes in the US are legally owned. The rest are stolen, smuggled or are otherwise illegally obtained. It is unknown to see fully automatic weapon used in a crime. guns have always been legal in DC. It was handguns that were not legal, and that ban was useless anyway. Whats the point when you can go to your local drug dealer and pick up an illegal gun for 100$ off the street, or take a 5 minute drive down to Virginia and buy one legally?

As has been said above, noob is an attitude, not a level. I have seen people leveled 120+ that act noobier then people at level 3. Next time, please use the search function on the forums before making a new topic. There have been several topics on this same subject.

Update: Bought ATI 2400XT to the Packard Bell computer, help
any low end video card that doesent use an external power connector should work. PSU wattage recommendations tend to be exaggerated. Look for something along the lines of an ATI radeon 2400 PRO. A card similar to that should run just fine.
