People would rather they be able to play the game they love, as they loved it. They make noise in the hope that if enough people make noise, it will be changed back. If it's not changed back, i'm sure lots will indeed 'just quit'.

Some people have bulk accounts, less people would be bothered to lvl so many account to say lvl 15. Less bots, easier to catch. They have scripts to do tutorial island. Scripts that mine / WC / fish. Scripts that [try to] deal with random evets. Scripts that bank for you. Scripts that walk you back to your spot after death. Scripts that auto log you in, and scripts that auto log you out. Do you honestly think they don't have scripts that can level your character to combat 15? >_< Combat 90, imo.

;) Thats fine then. --- The main problem with pures in bounty hunter - Is that in my experience theres a lot more pures who PK on their own than mains who PK on their own. [Perhaps because when mage bank and rune rock pking, solo is not really practical for obvious reasons.] The purpose of a pure, is to hit hard and fast, making your opponent eat instead of stab. The lack of defense and prayer means pures go down quicker when piled. [Not always the case, i know there's very good pure teams out there.] Secondly, pures gain an advantage by being at the peak of their level range. Maxing the right stats to be better in PvP than your average player of the same level. Attila88, this isn't an abuse of the combat system, it's simply specialization. Most mains don't specialize for PvP, cause they enjoy doing quests and PvE. Characters with defence will do much better against monsters, needing to eat less, fewer bank trips and getting higher exp per hour. This advantage is stripped away in a zone where level 56's fight level 100's. Hell, thats not even fair for the average level 56, never mind one without defense. To fix this, and make BH possibly fun: - Add single combat zones. - Add Stricter level divisions. It will never be the wilderness, but maybe it can be fun...

That's nice for them, really. Sadly they also stopped my fun and my subscription in it's tracks. Fair trade? Perhaps. I can no longer feel like a break from WoW / Lineage 2 and log in for a few hours PKing. I can't. Have you tried to solo in bounty hunter? Really? Twice today I ended up 'teaming' with a bunch of random illiterates, my target amongst my own team, unable to kill him 'cause I would get jumped by my own team. Twice I narrowly avoided getting lured. Honor is dead, Solo PvP is dead. 'Long live teaming luring level 90 newbs in dhide gangbanging lone level 60's'??? Lol. Add solo PvP zones, and stricter level ranges and I may play. Either way, it seems entirely ridiculous to sacrifice the only reason I ever logged into RS - To solve a problem that hardly impacted me. Maybe you care about RWT'ers. Maybe. But believe me, the vast majority don't.

Lol, logged in today for the first time in a long time. Piled by 1 iteming, no honor scum. Is this your 'competitively fair PvP'? The chance of losing my items, and gaining another's, is what made RuneScape PvP fun and interesting. It's not about the game, it's about the adrenaline. You really think RS PvP is 'fun' enough to make me want to play it over WoW or lineage 2 PvP simply for itself? Lol. No. Can't wait for Warhammer - Online. PvP plx.

Speaking as someone who loves this game, and has been playing on and off since classic - I've always said that whatever new games I play, i'll always come back to RS for a few months here and there. I can't say that anymore. It's not the game that I knew and loved. I'll sign your boycott, and am going to go cancel the subscription I always kept to try out new updates etc. Edit: And grats on 99 fletching Roberthree ^^ I feel so proud *sniff*

I'm sorry, I work hard for my money - And the idea of someone else getting something for free that I worked for, doesn't sit right with me. Why do you deserve it? You look at ad's. You're not paying, the add companies are paying. Seriously, demanding for more bank space, is like a hobo in a soup kitchen demanding to be served caviar. You have the amazing oppurtunity to sample a small part of RS. Absolutely free. Why don't people understand, F2P isn't RuneScape. F2P is a 'demo' of RuneScape. To get the real deal, you gotta cough up. That being said, sure - you can politely and respectfully ask for a few new treats now and then. But don't act like it's a right. It's not. - Gid.

Anyway, I remember an older thread on this issue, someone with actual programming knowledge worked out roughly how much extra memory a bank slot should take up - And then did some more fancy things with numbers that I can't remember. At the end of the day - He came to the conclusion that it would take a considerable amount of extra memory just to give ALL of F2P one extra slot. But, meh, I can't find that thread... I beg to differ. As an aside, if learning to type were not relevent to education, why did a third of my year 7-8 ICT classes in school consist of typing training? Training, I may add, that hardly helped me at all - Until I started playing MMO's.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and suggest you shouldn't take valuables that you can't risk losing - Into a place where you have a high likelyhood of dying. Full rune doesn't mean much to me, but if I lost my ranger set in the wilderness - I'd be real broke up. [so I don't take my ranger set to the wilderness...] It's not rocket science. ;)

You're contradicting yourself... As I said before, it's not the pixels that important to me, I have enough of those - It's the lack of courtesy and respect. Like DM / War Crashing, it's just offensive. If I fight someone, i'll be polite, wish them a good fight - and congratulate them if they win. I'd like to think they would do the same for me... It's not about honor, it's about treating people like people, not pixels.

Members quit, eventually. Without F2P to hook in new players, nobody would pay for RS from the start, before they are addicted. Well, I say nobody, some would, but not enough to support the game. Without F2P, the game would dwindle and eventually die.
