Normal kebbit bolts aren't that good, long are. Problem is it's taken me nearly 5 days to get 9k of them, and that's from buying them. But yeah I've noticed how good kebbit ammo is, it hits pretty hard (long are just below bone bolt strength I belive) and has the speed of a MSB, as to the bone x-bows speed of a whip. One handed aswell.

Fight pits - Easiest way to become champ?
Lets_3ekout replied to Lets_3ekout's topic in Help and Advice
I just sorta bought a beserker necky and now a goutweed touber (Since when do they cost around 200k?! :( ) so I prefer to stick to my cheapest options :P Seeing as I'm down to like 200k now. -
I haven't done either for a while, but from what I remember PC games take a good while longer now with less reward. How many ogres could you kill in the time of a single PC game? Much more then 2 I rekon, I'd be willing to bet at times you could kill 10+ when comapred to certain games. Seeing as you don't even need 2 times the ogres kills then PC points, I'd go with ogres, experience in PC from damage inflicted is nothing great either.

Fight pits - Easiest way to become champ?

I could care less about getting tokul :P Thanks, was worried I'd have to be beating 30 lvl 90-120's : -
All this info can easily be found on any fansite, try looking first  If Dharoks is at 0, it costs 330k. You do not require any levels to do Barrows, you can enter with a combat level 3 and all 1 stats, though you wouldn't live very long at all.

I have one task left till I get my karamja gloves 3 but I just can't pull of becoming the champion in the fight pits. I know I should get a team (These aren't "official" right? Sort of like bringing a friend in wildy, meaning you can attack him/her?) but I still can't get it. So I'm wondering if it's possible just to grab a friend to help me out, get a empty world and get him to let me kill him? Or is there a mimimum ammount of people needed, like 10 or something? Also, this is my first time so I don't really get all what's with all the monsters from fight caves spawning all over the place. Do they all needed to be killed for me to become champ or do I just have to be the last living person? Can't wait for my fast Shilo assignments :XD: Edit: Oh yeah, I'm 109 combat incase you were wondering.

You may want to, some people will remain spectical about sendspace, it was the first time I had even heard of it :P -
15000/2 = 7500 You're saying you got 7.5k damage in a single game using a dds and dharoks when you're melle stats are only just over 70 and a prayer of 47 (meaning no chiv/piet)? Highly doubtfull. Using real facts often leads to a better guide then the facts that you wish were true

bored of runescape... exciting things to do with my stats?
Lets_3ekout replied to kaaskip12's topic in Help and Advice
You'll be spending much more then that a day if you choose to do year 11-12  Anyway, if RuneScape bores you don't think of it as a bad thing to move on to something else, even if it is another computer game. You play RuneScape for fun, not for anything else, so if that no longer exists you should do something else untill you enjoy RuneScape again. I swap my "addictions" with CounterStrike, Runescape and Infantry (A classic online sony game) all the time. It won't make getting decent stats impossible either, I've left RuneScape twice, each time for many months yet I still have a total of over 1600. Maybe not the best, but neither have I been playing terribly long, only 2 years, not including the months I left. Clues don't take very long at all to do and when you first start doing them they can be quite enjoyable. It is very possible you may have to end up going to the elven land when doing ~4 clues, and extremely likely you will have to venture into the wilderness. -
That's bannable incase you don't know  Don't get me wrong, jsut watching and waiting for a death there is perfectly legal, as long as you don't make the death happen or help it happen. Farming is a good one yeah, though it can be pretty boring at times :P I haven't alched in a while but I hear the GWD is great for it if, there are no randoms there and it can be fun watching the fights. Though you will have to bring some god items.

Weapons that do ZERO damage? Things to make you bad?
Lets_3ekout replied to M6c_Magnum's topic in Help and Advice
No, the only use is throwing them at players in duel arena, but that doesn't even do 0, it's just a visual effect with no combat related features. May I ask why you want a weapon that never does damage? :P -

Sendspace is just as trustable as rapidshare, meaning you can download from it but it's wise to scan the file first. I've checked this file and it's completely safe, it's an xls anyway so I don't think it's even possible to incorparate a keylogger into it. As far as the document goes it's pretty interesting, it'd be nice if it was presented with some more colour or something, also took me a while to see what was even going on in the document, so maybe some more explanation somewhere (forums or in it)? Though that may have just been me :P However it's a very usefull tool for those that choose to use this method. -
Away-From-Keyboard. Basicly means you get up from the computer and go do something else while you stay logged in on RS. However according to Jagex this is illegal, when most people say afk they probably mean just go to another site and do whatever you want there instead of having to watch you're character repeat a boring action like woodcutting or fishing. Edit: LOL fastest posts I've seen in a topic, there were none when I started typing this :XD:

You're thinking of sharks. I'm 95% sure you never stop burning them aswell. Also pretty sure cooking gaunts DON'T help you cook them, only the 3 fish you cooked in the quest where you obtained the cooking gaunts, makes much more sense if you followed the story line when doing the quest imo.

2.2 million fletching exp in a day, is it possible?
Lets_3ekout replied to 777thzapster's topic in Help and Advice
You should try counting things like this yourself, it isn't as hard as it might seem when you know the numbers you're working with. In this case I've completely forgotten exp per hour achieved in fletching, but some numbers I found: If you have 15 hours a day to play, not including breaks, lunch, toilet, etc. then exp hour you must achieve is: 2,200,000/15 = 146.666k/hour. Doesn't sound very possible using yews to me. Now being perhpas a bit more realistic as far as keeping up your health (though still very bad :P ), 10 hours. 2,200,000/10 = 220k/hour. Definetly becoming too high. Perhaps you only get 5 hours a day? 2,200,000/5 = 440k/hour. Unless you collected yourself a few thousands drag dart tips the other day I don't see it happening :P As said before I completely forget how fast exp is, so I assume 100k/hr is fair? 2,200,000/100,000 = 22. Thus, if you have 100k exp per hour you must play 22 hours a day, with not a second to go to the toilet either. Probably not about to happen unless you don't expect to be raising out of your chair to sleep, eat or live your life some time soon. -
I don't like ankou, I have no idea why but I just don't enjoy killing them and I burn out withing 10mins of killing them :P I'm relatively sure beserker stacks with black mask, don't think I would have pulled of a 33 with only one of those straight of :-k Edit: Just pulled of a unpotted 26 with a black mask and a 35 potted so they do stack. I used to afk Damis's lair as 90% of my proper training for a couple of weeks-months. But salve has limited options and I like variety in what I kill :P Which is most likely why I'm enjoying slayer as of late. Even though the sword is probably faster I'm probably going to grab myself a maul anyway because from what I can see I can max out 54's :XD: More of a stuffing around weapon though, like anchors. NOTE to anyone considering this method: After checking this weapon out I have 49 stab attack and 40 slash when using my best equipment at this time. Without barrow gloves or a rune defender I have 37 stab and 28 slash. So I'd recommend 80-90+ attack level and a rune defender with barrow gloves to maximize you're attack. If you achieve a good attack overall these are GREAT strength training weapons. Sadly they make obby shields even more obsolete instead of their goal which was to make obby equip more popular. Reason being is you need the attack bonuses on it. Warrior rings help little because they merely equal the accuracy of stabbing and slashing while not really improving it's potential. Last edit: I've swapped my obby shield with a rune defender because it's become plain to me that the "gross" (When you have so much attack bonus that adding more makes no difference) attack bonus clearly has no effect here when you're dealing with these attack bonuses. So I've found that using a rune defender with barrow gloves, no warrior ring/helm, you can achieve a 69 stab bonus with 59 slash.

Unfortunatly they're not so cheap because they're made of onyx :P I believe beserker ammys are 3.3-3.6M last I checked, plus the cost of the obby weapon (though they aren't very costly at all when compared to a berserker necklace)
-
I don't really think my attack level requires any help, I also train with sup atts seeing as I have hundreds of them from when I powered herblore up to finish a quest. So I guess I'm still leaning towards a sword. Strength training :P Berserker necklace increases damage from obby weapons by 20%, making them the best strength training in game, exception may go to Dharoks training when using prayer. Edit: Bought myself a obby sword and it seems great :P First gargoyal I attack with it and I hit a nice 33-21-16 : (With D B axe spec)

Searched H&A multiple times couldn't find a single thing about this :? I've had loads of cash to throw away lately, so much so that I've been a bit clueless about something decent to buy (I don't like spending ~7m on ranger sets that don't really provide a defence bonus and only just more range bonus then a cheap 50k archer helm :P ). I ended up buying a berserker necklace but don't know what's better for str training. From the tip it calc I can see I'll be hitting natural 27's with an obby sword (comapred to a whip's 28) and 29's on slayer assignments. But with the obby maul I would be pulling of natural 34's and on slayer assignments 38's  However I can't quite recall how slow the maul is. I'm leaning towards to the sword, but does anyone know which method is faster str training? (note that I NEVER pk or duel, making the "KO" aspect of a maul pointless). Thanks.

It's pretty fair really, if level 3's could run around with d axes they'd be getting levels insanely fast. Just keep the axe in your inventory instead, you don't have to weild it and a rune axe in your inv is much faster then using an iron axe that's wielded.
-
There are only 4 big factors to think about. Firstly, the accuracy and max hit of your opponent. Secondly, your defence level and defence stats on your armours. How often the monsters will stop attacking and if it's possible to get lucky and kill them too fast, forcing you too auto-log. Lastly, how often you get randoms and how good you are at hearing them. For example, with 85+ in all melle stats I can look away for 5-10mins. I have two monitors though, so I keep RuneScape on one while I browse Tip.It or play some flash games or something on the other. By doing that randoms don't affect me so at times I can easily go 10+ minutes without having to do anything in RuneScape :P

Enchanted bolts guide, another hit by swordb88
Lets_3ekout replied to swordb88's topic in General Guides
The guide has potential due to lack of info about these bolts (though there is an INCREDIBLE guide on another forum which has animated pictures for each bolt). Though you probably should have left it in notepad of word for a while until it was more finished. Also, I'm pretty sure the max changes even with opal bolt (e) so you should state your range level and other people's max hits. -
It would be hard to fit in that many red dragon kills consistantly, they can hit hard and most of the time with monks i end up dropping 1-5 or praying for a similar ammount worth of monks. It may be a decent idea if you're ranging them, but there would be too many three quater full invents for me :P

Pearl bolt tips have become easy to get, I had a hard time finding any of those prior, infact the second time I tried to buy them I bought 2.5k tips straight of for the cheapest price, may be luck but I'm having great fun fighting fire giants and such now for a VERY cheap price :P I was thinking kebbit bolts, but no one colects them in the first place to sell in even low quantity. Would have been AWSOME to get myself 1k+ long kebbit bolts :( You can usually pick up bone bolts for 2-3 ea in ammounts of 100, making it nice to be one of those things you leave on when you go training. Spottier capes have become ridiculously easy and fast to replace for abyss crafters, should you have 66+ hunter. Basicly everything that had a small market but had a use if it could be obtained in large ammounts has become a considerable way to train in some shape or form. I used to play Knight Online alot, so I'm really liking this update :)
-
You're best chance would probably be making a thread on forums that you bump often while keeping your bolts in GE (assuming they can be sold for their correct price their). Due to the price of onyx bolts not many people at all want them, not to mention how un-exciting the special sounds, despite effectiness,
