Lemeja
With the release of the Grand Exchange many items that were previously obsolete because of a small supply now could actually be used. For example I read on another thread that ashes can actually be bought at the GE for 5 gp each to be used for making Serum 208. Also chocolate cakes can be bought for 80gp each to be used for training. So what other items are there that can actually be collected now? the_tallest1
Hmm, let's see. Something random I wouldn't have been able to really purchase before. Well, I snatched up 100 nasturtium flowers yesterday that I refuse to grow myself and would have had a hard time buying on the forums. So the obscure farming payment market has opened up. 571st to 99 Fm Nov. 4 '06 - 315th to 99 Crafting Mar. 3 '07 - 3410th to 99 Fishing Sept. 18 '0726378th to 99 Cooking Oct. 16 '07 -.- 99 Thieving Dec. 29 '07 - 1343rd to 99 Farming June 5 '081807th to 99 Agility Nov. 8 '08 - 3094th to 99 Smithing Feb. 14 '092012 total - 91 combat
Zibl
I, personally, do not like the Grand Exchange. I'm quite old fashioned when it comes to Runescape and I just don't like it  . Of course, it makes things cheaper and easily available for everyone... so lower levels/poor people probably LOVE it. I just cant get into it. number1short
I can't wait until a new quest comes out with totally random items - I'll just go to the GE! Before I would spend 20 mins getting those. :D
salim123
well every item has a certain use, but now people dont have to spend hours on the forum looking for it, they can just buy it by typing in the name
IAm314159
What items? Ok, firstly, a newspaper. I put one up on the Exchange for 1 gp, thinking that no one was going to buy it, and within SECONDS of my offer, it was snapped up as I was leaving the Exchange. Who on Gielinor does that? Seriously, I think the price of ashes will rise soon. Other than that, I can't think of any other items. snake6man
The problem with this update is that it brings in WAY too many sellers and not enough buyers. willows went up, they used to be 15 ea, now they're like 20 ea... its really lame. Runes I think are easier to get now, only 13 ea max price. Whats your average lv? viewtopic.php?t=615571&start=0&pos
jessy87
balls 0f wool are soo much easier to buy yes, easier. but, also neizitnot or jaitzo has a bank with unlimited balls of wool same place.
brave
The problem with this update is that it brings in WAY too many sellers and not enough buyers. It will for a while as everyone is clearing out their banks of items that have had for ages and never been able to sell, because they did not want to waste their time standing in a bank continuously typing "selling xxx". I am one of those people  IMO, once this initial surge is over there will be plenty of buyers for your goods.

Lets_3ekout
Pearl bolt tips have become easy to get, I had a hard time finding any of those prior, infact the second time I tried to buy them I bought 2.5k tips straight of for the cheapest price, may be luck but I'm having great fun fighting fire giants and such now for a VERY cheap price :P I was thinking kebbit bolts, but no one colects them in the first place to sell in even low quantity. Would have been AWSOME to get myself 1k+ long kebbit bolts :( You can usually pick up bone bolts for 2-3 ea in ammounts of 100, making it nice to be one of those things you leave on when you go training. Spottier capes have become ridiculously easy and fast to replace for abyss crafters, should you have 66+ hunter. Basicly everything that had a small market but had a use if it could be obtained in large ammounts has become a considerable way to train in some shape or form. I used to play Knight Online alot, so I'm really liking this update :) A Draconic Guide V1.4, Fimer - Multi-Timer Farming Timer V3.Dragon Boots: 39|Abyssal Whips: 16|Dark Bows: 1|

I was thinking kebbit bolts, but no one colects them in the first place to sell in even low quantity.
