No Moad, you need to understand that with the removal of the worlds, it has been very detramental to the clan community. There are not enough worlds now and clans may find they are geting owned/ambushed by bigger clans eg. clan a has clan war with clan b clan c has clan war with clan d now cause there are not enough worlds, all 4 clan might accidently meet up at the same time, this prior to the removal of the pvp worlds was not as common, now it is a common site. edit: this rant was on page one of the forums, which constitues as active, so dont play wanna be mod with me ok.

It was ungreatful, and it is clear Racheya you do not know what your talking about, I would doubt you have even PKed before. I myslef do a bit of everything, and whilst Pking is not my main thing i do in runescape i do see that removing the pvp worlds hindered alot of my friends and their run in wars. Please make sure you know what your talking about before posting something.

my goals: 99 slayer (will have in 2 weeks) 99 range (im 400k off lol) i am then goung to Greece for 4-5 weeks, so no rs when i return: 80+ in all skills (prety easy) 99summon, (should only take 1-2months) 99 fishing and thats my goals for 2009 :) I have not set any goald for 2010

Hmm to be honest nothing is wrong with them, everyone likes to play the game differntly, and thats what makes it special. my good friend in rs, is lvl 129 and hs about 100qp and alot of lvl 50 skills, whilst on the other hand i have a lvl 3 skiller friend with 3 99skills. So yes, whilst it may be very well that it is fine to be a skiller, there are still issues about skillers that concern me. I find that alot of level three skillers are too overly concerned aobut their runescape goals. I know this is a generalisation, but the names that are green on my friendslist most of the time, are skillers who sit at willow trees or cook or fish, or do whatever for their whole day. I know im going to get responses that say "well I am a skiller and i play 1 hour a week", as is said, im giving my general thoughts on the matter. Peace out G-Unit.

ohh true! I didnt factor in that as your summoning level increases so will the experience per charm increase. ill post on this thread as i said, when i hit 99slayer, and be able to give you a better slayer to summoning ratio. :) edit: thats the first time in my whole rs career i have tried to explain something mathematically.. loooks like i need more practice.

You want to see them math aye? Well here it goes, i will do my best for you now. I was not a fan of slayer until the quest smoking kills came out. I was maxed combat with a slayer level of 68 and a summoning level of 60, note until smoking kills i got all my summoning levels from waterfiends. 68 slayer- 605, 032 60 summoning- 273,742 Since smoking kills all i do in runescape is slayer. 757 tasks at the moment. My Slayer and Summoning are now: 97 Slayer- 11,273,529 91 Summoning- 6,347, 414, thus from 11,273,529- 605,032 = 10, 668,497xp since with summoning skill. So in that time I have gotten 6,347,414 - 273,742 (waterfiends) - 400,000 (wgs) - 100,000 (penguin points and lamps), there fore i have mad a net 5,573,672 In Conclusion: 10,668,397 slayer has gotten me 5,573,672 Thus 1.9 slayer xp get the equivalant of 1 summoning xp, therefore at level 99 slayer (13,034,431) x ..... ...... grahhh maths was my worsed subject at school i dont know lol, i would have looked totally awsome if i could have pulled that off, but hey i did the lowest level maths at school, thats why im doing international studies and fine art at uni lol!!!!!!!!! Anyways, it might have helped :S Im guesing when im 99 slayer in a month or so I can give you an exact number. Note: I use summona, always pick up my charms. I am aware thate everyone blocks different tasks also.

Interesting read, i read every page so far... I do agreee, it is great Jagex making another stand against autoers, however they cannot issue 100% bans until they have improved their macro dtection systems which have clear flaws in them. CAD programs i remember were being seen by jagex bot detection progarms as bots, i think this was 2006 or something,.... ..I am all up for a fair game, as long as no innocent people get shot.

Wow dude, 64mill experience in one year! thats a huge accomplishment from starting from scratch. Also great to see all the achievements you have done. I give you a 10/10 this blog shows your a really commited player, you will probably overtake me next year :P

Hey nice guide. Really well written and you have covered everything. I got 99wc early 2008, took me about 3months at draynor, i should have done teaks! Ahh well, I really enjoyed cutting at draynor, and it was a good location to meet new players :) Also did it all with a rine wc axe, cause I wanted to be oldschool lol (slaps head) I was just wondering what are the odds of getting a raven egg from a nest? Yeah I find excalibur 2 is invaluable when slaying. Here are some features comparing SGS with excalibur 2: Specs: SGS spec is 50%, excalibur two is 100% Cost: SGS cost 49.7m, exclibur 2 requires completion of seers hard diary and some minor quest, it costs 500gp Healing:SGS heals, minimum 10hp, thus it's healing is equal to or better than excalibur 2 if both sgs specs are used Otherfactors: SGS gives prayer with the spec, excalibur 2 gives a defence bonus instead Conclusion: Both are different items and have there own different uses. SGS is great cause it can be used a a main weapon, and it has a great prayer bonus. Whilst i am comparing apples to oranges, I sold my sgs and use a whip and excalbiur 2 combo, it is a great poor man's alternative. In regards to the ring: Yeah personal preference is all it comes down too. I am happy to sacrifice 4str bonus for an extra irit or ruby, trust me, after 750 tasks they really add up :P Note: I asked you a question on your summoning guide, cheers, would be really helpful :D

Hey there great guide, as a level 97 slayer (almost 98) i thought i would throw some input in. 1. You need to update the ring section, the 4+ str bonus is no way comparable with the awsomeness of having a slayer ring. I use summona, so this ring is extermely useful, I would only suggest besrker ring if your willing to hold the slayer ring in your inventory. I use every possible inventory space I get, I make sure I fill the inventory to full each slayer trip, even those guams add up. Sure, you might not see this as important, and in the end it is just personal preference. 2. I used to use bandos top, however when i hit lvl 137 i realised i was finishing all tasks with over 90hp in most cases anyway, i scraped the bandos top and i use fighter torso for nearly all tasks, except the 1s here i pray where i use prosy. I would recmend fighter torso above say a dharok plate if your maxed defence and have bunyip. This is once again preference. 3. You might also want to add excalibur two, i used to use a sgs to spec, but i find excalibur two a great alternative for tasks such as abbys etc, it is also alot cheaper. Good Job

Hi great guide! I was wondering if you can help me out :) So far i have been using all my charms i get from slayer to raise my summoning level. At the moment i am maxed out in all combat stats (besides 98range, which will be 99in a week) I am 97 slayer, 550k off 98, with a summoning level of 91, (130k off 92) I did the math, and by the time im 99 slayer i will be between 94 and 95 slayer. My finances are 63m cash, and 20-25m in items. Any advice on what I should kill to train> i dont want to throw the little gold i have on bursting or anything. If i could choose a combat style i would probably choose mele, cause im going for 50m atk xp

I have just been slaying, and thats all im going to do till im 99, but i am curious about barbarian fishing, it seems like a really good way to get xp if u can cut/drop while u fish, i imaigne people could get 60ish xp quite easily. :) i might give it a go.

buskers, as in the musicians that are located at various locations around runescape, i believe there are 23 or so of them. there is one south of the monastary, which i use when i loose my cannon cause i am too careless during slayer tasks such as black demons. :) hope that clarified what buskers are.

I think the point of the update was just to make the game enjoyable. no one likes to walk around, running is much more time efficient. I am going to find this update helpful for RCing and 99 summon in the future, as I wont need to rely on any items. I loved this update and the new buskers are very hlepful if i have lost my cannon and i am running from fally or edgy bank. tyvm for a great update guys

Always am clicking to see players levels, nothing i hate more than seeing lvl 138s at edgyville lol, that 1 extra combat level has been teasing me for months! I could have got it by now, but im trying to get all my charms from slayer rather that waterfiends etc also if someone spot steals at a task such i like to see there level to see if hoping is a good option, or if i should just outhit them and get all the kills. \

This makes it alot easier for Jagex staff members to look through the forums, i would say jagex is spoilt by a very creative and dedicated playerbase, so the issue is not lack of ideas, but rather that there are so many good ones on the RSOF forums. I used to be a big poster in the suggestions forum, this was prior to 2009, when there was alot less Jagex staff on the forums. In light of their policy changes im gona post alot more againon the RSOF now cause i see that Jagex are really interested in what we have to say.\ Jagex reaching out to tip.it, setting up social networking sites etc, has really changed the face of the company, which is very well. But time will tell if they put these ideas in, i know that for months players have been calling for high level updates, and they have not been met. (fingers crossed) :thumbup:
