My brother has that phone. For me, all I use a phone for is to make calls, texts, and the occasional photo. So I don't know why i'd spend more then £30 on a phone, because it has a magical camera, or super-fancy speaker :P

I think there is gender equality nowadays, which kind of eliminates the purpose of new feminists. Do you ever get the feeling that life is just an endless facade, of inconveniences and depressing events one after the other, and even the good things that happen, fail to brighten up any thing because you're hit by the reality of the pointlessness? Essentially, being dead inside, or even have no drive, will or push foward to continue living. To sum up, does anyone ever get that flash in your mind, "Why even bother with anything anymore?" For me there are so many reasons, but I don't want to go into it, because the things which have happened in my life are so freakin' depressing, and some people wouldn't believe me, because the things which have happened are at a strange level of realism. Also, i'm not talking about particular days, i'm talking about the whoooole of life from beginning to end I apologise for the depressing emo question, but I wanted to see what others think.

I think the fact it's illegal, means people have to buy it in private from shady drug dealers. And the drug dealers can lace the marijuana with other things, and easily push harder stuff onto you. If it WAS legalized, then it would severely weaken the crime industry (In the UK atleast, from official police statistics atleast 70% of weaker cases of crime is drug related.) Anyway, I personally think it's like solvents. Can be abused by idiots, but if you know what you're doing, don't let it severely influence your life and don't [bleep] up, it's fine to use. ...or at minimum should be legalized by prescription use for its medicinal properties.

If a cure for lung cancer was invented, tested and officially worked in most cases, I was wondering on the social effects and economic effects of it would be. Do you think more people would take up smoking because then the pros would outweigh the cons, as if you did get Lung cancer, it probably could be cured? (I know there are other illnesses which come with smoking, but lung cancer is the biggest one I think...) Also, economically, would it boost the economy, both by the drug itself and by more people buying tobacco products?

All i'd prefer to do is come in later, and therefore finish a bit later, so you don't have to get up crazily early. And to Da_latios above me, in many schools (for example mine) the students do get respect, and as a result, the teacher's don't really need a fascist approach. However, for some schools it's impossible to do this because they're full of inconsiderate [wagon]. And some schools are just waaay too big. My school is tiny.

I thought of an interesting hypothetical situation: A person who was raised very strictly catholic, and finds he is gay. Interesting eh? I would think he would probaby deny his homosexuality and force himself into heterosexuality, even if it doesn't feel right for him.
