The actual rapier used inside the Damonheim dungeons is considered by most to be simply too weak and inaccurate vs the 2h. Although I wouldn't know myself, seeing as I plan to bind mage gear once I get 77 rc....

I'm under the impression that with extremes, maxed melee, and turmoil, Rapier is by far the best. Wouldn't know personally :P

Idiots will move on when it becomes something other then a hat with a big price tag. If you have the means, i'm not saying not to buy one. By all means do what you want, its your money Im saying partyhats would crash in price if people wanted them for looks and not for street value. Er, you basically said that they would crash if the demand went down... Which leads me to state a basic economic principle. Supply and Demand. Which have an inverse relation with one another. (One goes down, the other goes up) Party Hats exist in a limited number in the game, and therefore have a very low Supply. Which causes the demand to skyrocket. Simple as that. And it will stay like that because there will NEVER be any more supply. (Please don't knitpick about people with p hats who have quit returning, or banned accounts with party hats being unbanned.) Also, another thing about supply and demand - a good quote I heard from civilization. "An item is worth whatever the buyer will pay for it." If that means an item is 1.5bil because that's what people are willing to pay for it, then it's 1.5bil. In reguards to this. I mean buying a partyhat for 1.5b coins, not buying it for 400m coins and gaining whatever the street value is. No, I seem to have stepped into a thread where street price is considered real value. I dont see street price as value, I go by the grand exchange price. Be that the "wrong" price is up to each person. Ha. Ha. Ha. The Grand Exchange price is WRONG for party hats. How do I know this? Don't know it personally, but if you can't get an item on the GE for max price over a period of a couple days, the price is wrong. The GE is a wonderfull tool, but it simply cannot cope the market and or prices of items that exist in very limited amounts and are very rarely traded. If the GE gets fixed for this, p hats on the GE will cost over 1bil. Its fully possible to get very lucky, getting a partyhat through the GE, its just not probable. You could, but that's just way too unrealistic. A maxed player would presumably have better luck solo'ing corp for sigils rather then attempt to snipe one off the GE, Also, if I ever HAD the money to waste on p-hats, I would. I really would. But chances are I'd have to end up with max stats, all the highend armor, godswords, spirit shields, before I'd feel justified wasting money on them :P Although, someday I'd like a h'ween mask. Still got a lot of things to get before I could justify the money for one...

What you should do then, is "buy" these items that went down due to speculation. And remember - you haven't lost money unless you SELL said armor/weapons. And personally, I like the idea of being able to work on getting skills up for an update before hand - yeah, it causes skill training stuff to be bought out, but really, it would just get bought out when the actual update comes itself. At least this way, you can work on training the skill yourself before ze update...

That's what the "until log out" option is for? You lend it for 24 hours, you don't get to use it for 24 hours.

If i pay for something and am promised(essentially what the bts is) an update, can i not express my disappointment/anger? There are genuine reasons for this. If people, or even companies fail to deliver, being criticized for it is the lest they deserve to be. Some people paid only for this month, and essentially, didn't get the product that they though they would- in most countries, false advertising for products is punishable. They don't have to release a bts, but if they do, then atleast be sure they can deliver. For your information(and you are uninformed) the update to be released wasn't only about elite clues, and anyone who has ever done a clue scroll is affected by this. Well then, they should just add that text to every BTS they release. Had they done that, i wouldn't have had any problem with the current situation, but as they didn't, complaining about getting treated the way they are treated now is something they brought on themselves. As for being human, if you promise something and can't get it done in 30 days, you really suck. Making promises you can't keep is human, but indecent. See, see, this is EXACTLY what caused Jagex to get RID of the bts in the first place... And anyone who's been playing RS for a long enough time should realize this. Doubt they're surprised.

If your going to tank, I don't know the stats off the top of my head, but I'm damned sure armadyl would be more useful.
-
You may want to post a screenshot of that setup and put it here yourself for whomever decides to make that sig. Fraid I can't do sigs though >.<

Wow, that looks fairly blood useful. And I think it'd be great it tipit supported this or whatever.
-
Definitely yes.

I'm even MORE curious on how an RS player could figure this out. You don't need to be developmentally delayed to act that way - I could easily see people 16 years of age, acting like complete and utter imbeciles simply because the rise they get out of other players is amusing. Also, if you see 10 people, and only ONE of them acts in a way that, in your perception, is developmentally delayed, you will only remember that person and forget about the other 9. The other 9 weren't significant enough to make an impact in one's memory. Basically, 90/10 rule. 10% of the population gives the other 90% a bad reputation - this is probably why some people seem to think the community is made up of imbeciles, because THOSE are the ones that catch your attention. Which, judging by your post, happens on a lot more games then RS.

I have *no* idea how this spider idea would work out. But as of the ring update, the majority of people seem to think 2h is better because you can use it with two ring styles.

Hmm, well I've done this task 3 times now, and each time I fail more and more =/ The 1st time was my best, only using like 35 sharks in 2 trips, but I totally forgot what I prayed. 2nd task, I switched up prayer (I think) and had to do it in 3 trips =[ 3rd task, I forgot what I did, and took 4 trips =[[[[ So yea, I totally forgot how I was so awesome my 1st task. But thanks for the reply, I'll consider it while waiting for more people to respond. I'm a range tank. Stats in sig. Er, your at least using melee for the first for, riiiiight? And considering your stats/armor, I definitely think you should stick to range pray. Although, I sometimes find switching prays up works, as she (sometimes) tends to pick an attack and stick to it for just a wee bit. But that's randomness, so who knows. I remember back when I solo'ed her a lot, I used mage pray on the first form and range pray on the second form. Also, I'd reccomend using brews, since I don't think an inventory of even rock tail would be enough - and you can't use any beasts of burden, so.
-
Most people recommend mage - then again, most people use melee only armor. Sometimes, while solo'ing with Veracs, I've actually switched to range cos it hits higher. With Armadyl, my guess would be ditch the shield and use range pro. Maybe Zammy book or something?
-
I don't think anyone knows it, but there's bound to be one :P
-
Not groundbreakng, but I think it's about freaking time - I've always thought it was stupid that they (the logs) were f2p when f2p had no locations to cut them.
-
I'd stick with titans; to me, the healing effect of titans beats combat familiars. I try them out from time to time, but I never feel that they're strong enough to bother using,
-
For the record, if your doing Fairy Tale 3, an NPC should just tell you, and if you've gone there before it's in your log. It's also in the RS manual thing.

dungeoneering bosses now teleblocked?
Sir_Squab replied to Squisher_33's topic in General Discussion
The icefiend is like this so people don't teleport away when he starts raining ice. The rest of them, you can teleport from, and some of them are useful to use gatestones at - such as Stomp or (apparently, I don't think I have the level) Sagittarius. I could see them doing this with SOME batch two bosses; if the bosses are something like the Icefriend, where teleporting allows you to skip a dangerous attack phase. But that's about it. I can't see them doing it on general principle just to be a [bLEEP] -
I personally solo. The few times I've gone with a team it was to get a bound item of some sort, or maybe just with my clan (back when it first came out.) If I team, I usually end up with higher levels who do more work then me tbh. When I solo I like to mage... I want to get 77 rc to mage there effectively o.O If I start maging though, no idea what I should bind,

Which boss? -
They will. Guaranteed. Just be prepared to wait months/years for it....well, seeing as Jagex is trying to finish off quests, I'd say under a year. Hopefully.

The good ways of nature runecrafting involve the abyss (you'd probably die there) Graahks (level 59 summon ish, your nowhere near there), fairy rings (the boss from the quest would kill you) There's also shop running; there's a general store that's a bit of a walk from the nature altar. Providing you can get there, with your ess, to the nature rune altar and back without dying from the monsters in Karamja (no idea what they'd be like at your leve) this might work. The shop denotes the items for you, for a fee. Just avoid the Tai Bwo wannai village place. Not sure if you could do it at your level, but I can't see any other way.

I'm guessing that it's higher actually, but I really wouldn't know. What do you mean by 33 prestige anyways? You ARE resetting right? Also, the exp should be a lot higher since solo'ers can now do medium dungeons. I've HEARD that the exp from med dungeons is fairly close to the exp from Large 5:5s, at least when you take into account the amount of time you spend finding teams that still end up having a complete idiot. But I wouldn't know from experience or anything >.<
-
That's a good idea, I never thought of that. Er, why do you need to have the same task? If you do, what's the chance of a level 3 and someone with 94 magic having the same task >.<
