Well it sounds interesting and the artwork looks good, but I'll wait to see it in-game. Usually the real thing is nowhere near as good looking as they say.

You do realize so far the promotion has been offered once in the US, and now in the UK? Any players from countries outside these two did not have the chance to get it at all.

I was skeptical when somebody first recommend me this series, but it's surprisingly awesome. I just hope the wait between season 2 and 3 isn't as long as the one between season 1 and 2.

Imo the game isn't worth 8$/month. It was one thing to encourage people to stay members with loyalty rewards, but it's another to have your membership spike 33% in price if you choose to not subscribe continuously. If I were a new player or returning member I would definitively think twice about subscribing. Not to mention the lag is pretty ridiculous, my computer could play any game out right now at ultra settings (OC'ed gtx 570 to nearly 580) yet a graphically ugly game like RS lags in populated areas because jagex can't be assed to get decent servers. Might be an indication it's time to move on to another game tbh.

Drop cabbage, or spades. Hopefully they rage and make good screenshot material.

There were times where I had to sell my bandos to fund some skills, in those occasions the fighter torso was convenient to fall back on. Also BA is a decently fun minigame with good rewards like torso, penance gloves, filling horn, colouring weapons, etc, you should try it sometime anyway.

Like you said you'll still be lvl 15 anyway, so it doesn't affect you. Just make sure to not mess up again.

Not a big fan of the metallic style they used for everything. But I really hate how the xp you gained now pops up in the middle of the screen, any way to make it stop? I hope next year we get the top & bottom to the wolf outfit.

People keep saying RS is good for a browser game. Sure, it is, but there's no point in keeping it browser based. If they had made the game client based from the start we could have enjoyed better and faster graphics and more potential for improvement. Browser based games are appealing to casual gamers looking for a quick fun, but it's kind of a joke when you're used to playing serious games.

The unis here are pretty devious. They make their own 'books' for many of the classes. And by book I mean a bunch of sheets of paper kept in a binding. Because they are the only ones than can provide the book, you cannot find it anywhere else and you have to pay full price. The books that aren't made by the uni are usually made by the government, and after 1-2 years stop being used making them also impossible to sell. Every year they change the books, so all the books you bought this year you won't be able to sell to other students. Basically it's an elaborate scheme to make people spend ridiculous amount of cash on books, it's not uncommon for a year's worth of books to cost 1000$.

The updates have been meh these days. So I expect a 'meh updates' year.

They should start with boosting rewards from existing fm-related stuff. I always liked burning pyres and stuff like that, but wouldn't do it because the rewards were so poor.

I actually like the new look. Do I see a barrows recolour loyalty reward coming? Black, silver, gold, etc there are a few metallic colours that would make them look better.

You're watching a long video separated into parts on youtube, and then just when you get at the last part you find out it has been taken down.

It would have been better to overhaul the FM skill before slapping a 90 req on a quest. FM is pointless and boring, and if it wasn't for diaries and fancy capes I wouldn't bother.

As a child yes, as an adult no. If today you decided to learn Chinese and took a plane to China, you wouldn't learn a thing. Children learn because their parents and teachers are willing to spend time teaching them. No one will waste time on a confused adult foreigner that knows nothing. People need to learn the basics of a language before they go to a foreign country. Furthermore if you plan on living there, you will obviously need a job. If you can't understand other people, you're not going to get a job, end of story.

That's an odd problem. Most people I've met understand most of what's being said but find it more challenging to word replies because of a lack of practice and vocabulary. Watching French films with the French subtitles might help you relate the sound with the written word. However ideally you would have a conversation partner to practice with.

People with thyroid issues often get carpal tunnel. If you have a poor diet that would exacerbate the inflammation. Could be a simple problem of ergonomics. If you have neurological problems already it could also be from that. It doesn't really have anything to do with clicking, healthy people can click for hours on end, days on end, and still be fine.

Print tons of money. Devalue the currency even further, harming ordinary people. Give money to old, tired companies that are gonna die anyway. ??? What should happen: Stop printing money, stop overspending and pay your debts. Allow people to enjoy their salaries and pensions instead of indirectly robbing them from it. Give zero money to big companies in trouble, let them die. Allow new and better innovative companies to take their place. ??? Profit!

Apparently alternating between very hot and very cold water in the shower is also good for health, boosts circulation and such. Very hot being as hot as you can go without burning/hurting yourself obviously. Never tried it but sounds interesting, and less difficult than cold-only showers.

Eh I've heard lots of time people say they are OCD about something, not in the sense of the disease, but in the sense they like things to be in an organized or peculiar way. So for me, it's totally valid slang. Stop being pedant.

The rewards are pretty nice this year. The snowman fighting mini-game is pretty addictive. I've been playing it for the last 2 hours.
