  1. I got the full set + gilded 2 picks on the first day, and I was paying so little attention to the game I thought I might miss it. But nope, it stays long enough it's hard to miss. Didn't bother putting sounds on either. If you focus while mining there you're just gonna make yourself miserable.
  2. I can't approve of people getting 200M in all skills. Games are made to have a bit of fun when you have free time, not something that takes over your entire life and eats away at sleep and other activities.
  3. I love skeleton horde because I can just mage it with my surgebox and the pet heals me.
  4. Actually in classic there was a 24/7 sex party in the Varrock inn. Nothing too bad, we would just cyber and invent little stories. After RS2, the party moved from upstairs to downstairs, and some pmods started going there which pretty much ruined it. Afterwards it just became some sort of lame spot to show off how many rares you got, and it eventually died. It was pretty fun in it's prime though. Either way I don't see the harm in it. I've played games where you could kiss/hug/dance with other characters, nobody really thought much of it. Although there were some lame people that complained on the forums because two male characters were shown kissing on an official screenshot.
  5. Well I got the entire set and trimmed my dpick, gg  Also trimmed an extra rune pick :3
  6. Create an alt account and ask him why he's killing gnomes. See if he answers. xD "I hate gnomes they suck, die die die!"

    "L"

When I came back after 3 years absence people had all this new slang L2__, L, FML, etc, very confusing.
  8. 80-90 def 90-99 attack 90-99 def I'd say
  9. I think a combat cape is a good idea. I think it would be nice if it worked kinda like void and gave something like +5% to melee, ranged and mage damage. At places where you need accuracy completionist and max cape would still be better.
  10. I think I paid for it two or three times to get the witchdoctor clothing. It's certainly cheaper just to pay a few times than say invest 10M into the skill.
  11. 75 to build an altar in dungeoneering, that's about the highest requirement for the skill I ever needed. Still nice to raise it just for a nice looking house.
  12. You only need high skill lvls if you're keying, if you're not keying and you got better skills than the keyer then you're probably gonna be needed for every other door and end up slowing the dungeon a bit.
  13. I plan on finishing up magic fire surging abby demons and banking the ashes to break even. I got no idea if that's efficient, but it's kinda fun.
  14. "Thanks I was just trying the reds for the first time. I thought they were weaker than black dragons and they're a pain to kill with ranged." or so
  15. The CW games is just one of the requirements. You don't get all 99s and 120 DG, 4000 chompy kills, champ scrolls and the other crap playing 1 hour a day. The time investment is massive, people with lives outside RS simply cannot afford the time to do that.
  16. Honestly I truly do not get comments such as the above. Why in the world would you possibly care how some player in the game spends his time. He may even have a more fulfilled and accomplished life than you do. To be fair I very much doubt that somebody that has nothing better to do than play CW games all day for months have anything interesting going on in their lives. It's highly doubtful they even have a job or an education at all.
  17. My experience with dung smith "Is somebody available to help smith me a weapon?" No reply, and other people asking the same question receive no replies either. "Hello?" Rank: "Im busy im training slayer" "Will you be able to help eventually?" "No there are waiting lists" "Okay where's the waiting list?" "I dont need to help you" "What about the waiting list?" "lol look im slaying k" "... you're not actually interested in helping are you?" "lmao if ur not happy leave" "or better yet...." you have been kicked from the clan chat Needless to say I didn't bother with the chat again. A 99 smith I dged with made one for me.
  18. A completionist cape could include just about everything, eg. 200M xp skills. That doesn't mean it should. The CW games thing is pointless and random. Jagex is just having a laugh seeing how many people are obsessed enough with the game to complete that ridiculous requirement.
  19. These topics are pretty old. Just stop putting your email on your fansite accounts, common sense.
  20. I bought it and it turned out to be mostly a waste of tokens. I think it would be somewhat useful for somebody that kills a lot of dragons and doesn't want to bank the bones, kinda like a dragon bones version of urns. But on normal and big bones the XP is so small it's not worth it.
  21. So how are you? We were friends like 3 years ago before I quit. Weird new name you got there lol

  22. Me and a friend used to go around giving newbs some free money and teaching them a few things. We were curious if they were even going to say "thank you" or follow our advice. A few days later we would check up on their progress, and we would always be greeted with "can I have more money plz?". And they had always returned to whatever it is they were doing before instead of taking our advice because what we had clearly explained was "confusing", "too difficult" or "idk how". That's gratitute for ya  We stopped because it became apparent that they didn't learn. Give a noob a fiver and they want your credit card.
  23. So is prayer and a lot of buyables. Prayer is most definitely not cheaper now.For a number of years before 2009, Dragon bones were 2k each or less. Just because almost no one bothered to train prayer past 70 until curses came out doesn't mean the skill was expensive. That seems cheap to todays standards, but back then coins were worth a lot more. If I say that a few years ago I had 40m, it wouldn't seem much right now, but back then 40m would get you a phat.
  24. I read an interesting book and in it the author talked about what he named levels of non-disturbance. And that's basically what you allow or don't allow yourself to be offended by. For instance, if somebody walked around naked on the side walk, some people would laugh, some people would frown, some people would get angry or upset, everybody has a different reaction. Then they would get home, they would tell their family "Oh I saw a guy walk naked on the street, it was so funny!" or "I saw a damned lunatic walk around naked today, I hope he gets jail time! Kids live on this street for Christ's sake!". The guy walking naked didn't make those people happy or upset. The people made themselves feel that way because of their thoughts and beliefs. The person that laughs chose to find the situation funny, the person that frowns chose to react in fear, anxiety, anger, etc. Now once you understand that you can re-program yourself to stop getting upset over petty things, eg. other players calling you nerds. Most people don't get this though, and they allow themselves to be affected positively or negatively by what other people say or do.
