I just don't know what to say. I'm speechless... A short while ago when people made threads about what Jagex would do in the future, it was all fun and games. I never thought they would actually do it. But they did.. Omg... Runescape feels like facism now :uhh: I can't believe they ruined merchanting.... Staking.... Dropping... Gifts to friends....pking....

Well, nobody agrees on a definition of "nerd", so its all subjective... I think: Geek: Video gamer, on internet a lot, not athletic nor intelligent. Usually dresses with ugly black t-shirts with geeky pictures on it. Is more social than the nerd. Nerd: The socially inadequate and ugly little guy that would get bullied at school. Good at school, shy, dresses nerdy, gets a good job, etc..

And so are you, if u also mean that seriously. I'd rather have 1000 autobots online, than 1 racist. disgusting. Several games block IPs from certain countries because people from those countries are not meant to be playing their game. Most commonly, games meant from european gamers will block all IPS that are not from Europe. It's not because they do this that suddenly they become evil racists from hell. This is nothing new, stop making such a fuss about it.

Yeah, banning IPs from China would do the trick. I don't think it is possible to use proxies with java. This might be our anti-bot miracle solution O.o

I personally don't like how armour looks on female characters. I also find the female model quite ugly ever since they changed it to make it more "sexy", it's just distorted.

I hate that too. Barrows, dragon skirt/legs, it all makes you look like you're overweight or something, with weird protuberances a little everywhere :o And everyone seems to like it, buy it, wear it.. :s

LOl nice XD That's what you should do. In CW, either you or they switch team, find them and kill them over and over :P In normal Rs, challenge them to come to the wild to fight with you and they'll run away for sure. Then call them nubs.

Poor Mr Gah, you lost a lot of money too :( I tried killing Jad too at like lvl 104. I tried three times, all failed by getting killed soon after Jad appeared. It's not that it's so difficult, but it's boring to have to start all over again, it takes forever. Then I sold the guthans, and pretty much left that goal for when I'm lvl 110+.

As if Jagex had detection systems capable of spotting every single botter in Runescape. Lol...

I also think it's a shame smithing is not profitable. But you know, these are things that happen. The demand of certain items drop, or materials become to expensive, and slowly some skills become less profitable. There's not much we can do except to hope Jagex makes a new high demand smithable item. Just go with the flow and do whatever skill is profitable at the moment.

They could also do smaller duels. By example, the customer already has 2m. So they make a 2m vs 2m duel, and of course the customer wins. Then they raise to 4m, 8m, 16m, until the customer gets all the gold he paid for. It was not uncommon for people to get cleaned by the same person over and over, so this would not really arise suspicion.

This thread states the obvious: Rsc was not perfect. A game doesn't have to be perfect for you to like it. Some people idealise the past and Rsc in their forum messages, I see that as their way of expressing their love for Rsc. I've never seen anyone claim something like "There was not a single displeasing person in Rsc", or "Runescape was absolutely 100% perfect before Miniclip arrived". On the other hand, I've seen plently of people talk about the good aspects of the old days, without mentioning the bad ones. That's normal, people like to remember themselves the good moments, not the bad ones. Don't assume that because people don't mention the bad aspects of the game there were back then that they believe those aspects did not exist.

Let's have a metaphor, or whatever it is called. xxxBam falls on his face and hurts himself because he screwed up a step or something out of distraction. Then a person with Makoto's life physophy comes and says: Dude, I can't pat your back and help you feel better because it was your fault - you were distracted. Then he go aways just leaving the person there. Then Makoto-person, a few weeks later, is on his skateboard trying to nail a kickflip. He isn't looking where he's going because he's so focussed on doing his board moves right. Then bam, he hits the side of a car and falls on the sidewalk. Other skaters laugh at him, but one skater comes and helps him get up and says to him: It happens, don't worry about it. Are you ok? Then they start chatting and the skater tells Makoto-person all the times he fell himself, friendly chit chat, and Makoto feels better. Then maybe after that day, Makoto-person will understand that humans are not perfect, that they make mistakes, and that despite their mistakes, they are still deserving of some sympathy when they need it.

One of them there's literally no mods, you can do whatever you want, but people are really decent since it's a forum about a anime and people are just fanboys so less flamming since everyone agrees. In another one of them it's uber strict, you get banned for flamming or personal attacks. And there's a spirituality section in which you can't debate anything or your posts get deleted.

I'd call myself Mr bunneh if the name wasn't taken. It's really annoying when people "reserve" good names and never use them, so many of the unique names on Rs were never used. They should make it that if a character does not log in within 6 months of creation, they would delete it and make the name free again. And for people who logged in, deleted after 2 years if the person did not play for more than X hours.
