Say something like: K, nubcake 2: Say: I love you too Witty, encouraging and thoughtful. Clearly you're a valuable member of this forum. <_< I don't know what we would do without him. :o

Jagex's Extreme Measures: "Freedom is not Free"
highlanders replied to Barihawk's topic in General Discussion
Lol, you don't even know what you're talking about. We were debating what was the prime motivation of Jagex when they made these updates: to save their butt, or to save their players. Your post is full of hatred, personal attacks, stupidity, and general off-topicness. Do us all a favor, and stop delaying your ban on tip.it. Take off the cap of your bottle of trolliness, go berserk, get banned, and find another forum to annoy. That being said. Let̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s be real here: When your company is in big trouble, you focus on saving your butt before trying to save the butt of someone else. After all, what use are you to other people if you can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t save your butt first? Jagex has much more to lose if Runescape were to close than we do. Most of us would just switch game and that̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s it. They, on the other hand, lost their lifetime̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s work, and millions of dollars, aswell as endangering their future game projects. I think I can indeed safely say that when Jagex made those decisions, they were caring more about their survival, than our happiness. -
With all the restrictions, the gold farmers will probably just switch to games that are are easier to sell gold on. They don't care which game they bot on, whatever game that floats their boat is fine. They won't keep trying on Runescape in impossible conditions, because they don't have a thing with Runescape. With that being said... Ok, prove that to us, how are they going to keep RWT now?

Jagex's Extreme Measures: "Freedom is not Free"
highlanders replied to Barihawk's topic in General Discussion
obviously you didnt READ the article. jagex didn't sttop RWT because they were losing money, they stopped them because they were going to lose the whole GAME. as in, the game you and so many other people take for granted, just because you pay your measly 5 bucks a month. who's being selfish now? Andrew: I'm saving my company! Don't be silly - I didn't save it because I have countless hours and millions of dollars put in it. Nope! I'm saving it because I don't want my little customers to cry if I'm gone. -
The SOLUTION! What Jagex can do and we GET WILD BACK!
highlanders replied to DingoAte's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Yep, exactly.. They would bring the yew logs they cut, and pay the customer with them. -
They will probably keep playing so that they can continue showing off their money and items.
-
I don't see your point. Not everyone complaining about the immature players are immature players themselves. I don't know why there are so many immature players in-game. Probably a mix of various factors: easy access, first mmorpg, anomynity, free version, no gore, no suggestive graphics, easy to navigate website, etc.
-
Pretty convincing stuff. Looks like Jagex wants us to alch stuff and get high magic levels :P This is the part that annoys me. Atleast, before this; we weren't forced to follow the GE, now we are. Don't forget to feed my plushie

Members is their way to make money. It's either that or a cash shop, so get used to it.

Jagex's Extreme Measures: "Freedom is not Free"
highlanders replied to Barihawk's topic in General Discussion
Aha! The cat gets out of the bag! So, Jagex didn't stop RWT because the players wanted it done, they've done it because they were losing money. Of course, I doubted that. They are as selfish as usual. -
There are many differences between a portable console game and Runescape: - For starters, in the Poke game, the other trainers are computer generated, and tell you boring little automatic lines at the beggining of each fight. In Runescape, there is actual real people all around you that can talk to you and that you can become friends with. - The Poke game will not change, nor evolve. The damned undergroud will never open, the damn npcs won't say new lines, the guy that walks on route 3 is going to stay there forever. In Runescape, you get weekly updates and additions, and thus things in the game change and evolve. - Since in the Poke game, there is never addition of new content, after some hours you end the game, you can keep playing to get more pokes or to raise your own higher, but the point is pretty much gone. Runescape can last countless hours, there's always something new to do, as much as you want until you get bored. - The poke game plays itself on a portable console, and Runescape plays itself on a computer connected to internet. They are different kinds: apples and oranges, and thus to try a comparison between the two is pretty much ...weird.....

In the farming preperation, people would actually stand hours and hours near a farmer respawn in order to get tools and farming boots. Then, when the update was released it turned out the tools were sold in a store for like 5 gp each, and the farming boots were useless. Hehe..

Off topic: In french Gateux means the caracteristic of someone whose intellectual capacities diminishes with age. Maybe you meant Gateaux? Which means 'Cakes'.
-
Bots farmed gold to sell to irl rich players, which would give them an advantage over honest players. Isn't it already good enough that they are rich in real life, but they have to shove it in our faces in Rs too? No.

Is it possible to get banned for intercepting drop trades?
highlanders replied to ixfd64's topic in Help and Advice
You and the drop trader have two different IPs, it should be ok. Btw, help & advice forum.. -
Maybe remove all randoms except the ones giving nice rewards? This would eliminate many annoying randoms, while still keeping a minimum protection.

In real life, everybody always has the same names, and people don't complain about it. If I ever get kids, I'll find them a good and original name, they won't have a million other people named exactly like them :

Lol this is funny.. At a time like this too.. This belongs to Help & advice forum.
