  1. A helpline? Seriously... that is hilarious! And you know what? I think if Harry dies it will be too obvious, but if Voldemort dies, it'll be too much of a 'happy fairy-tale ending' as someone ^ said. I think they'll both die! *gasps* That's such a cool idea!! And I s'pose that could be the reason why Snape killed him and could still possibly be on the 'good' side... :-k
  2. I love the Yin Yang cos I'm a great lover of balance. Balance is everything, light and dark, day and night, love and hate, good and evil, male and female, young and old, rich and poor, salt and pepper, bucket and spade, fire and water. Seriously, can you think of anything natural that isn't balanced in some way?
  3. Weeeell we all know what happened to Dumbledore! : I thiiiiink it'll be Hermione or Ron, and one of the Muggles! In fact I'm gonna go on the website now.
  4. Oh My Days. In exactly 10 years and 3 months I'll be meeting an old RS friend!!!    Wow I sooo can't wait : \ That's where I'll be! No, seriously... being realistic I see myself as a student juggling uni, a reasonable job, and trying to get something out of my writing... :-k I hope to be married by the time I'm 30.
  5. *cries* I thought the second one was beautiful, it felt very emotional and deep. Some of the vocobularly is really nice too, 'Flame in the wind' The rhythm seemed a bit weird but I loved it. And I don't like the first one, dunno why.

Helenia sat motionless on the hard, cold metal of the castle fountain. She couldn't breathe, she couldn't cry, she could barely feel her skin. Haggard was dead. The guard put his arm round her, smiling comfortingly. 'Close, were you?' he asked soothingly. 'Yes - I mean, no, no, no, I don't know, I only knew him a few months. Please, just leave me alone,' 'Alright,' the guard agreed. 'Take care, miss,' Helenia knew she had to find him, see his silent eyes once more before she left the city. Helenia pushed herself gingerly up, and walked unsteadily across the yard and out into the quietly deserted Square. The elf woman felt a burst of anger bubbling inside her, and with a scream of rage the flimsy paper note bearing Haggard's last words to her was flung into the water of the fountain. She watched it flutter in the bubbles for a few seconds, before it sank to the ground and lay, tattered, among coins and pendants. This isn't fair, she thought, the anguish rising inside her. I need to find him, and everything will be ok. I just want to see him, one last time...

The weird thing is, I never ever realise I'm dreaming until at least five seconds after I've woken up. I've had lots of dreams, I don't exactly recognise the difference between a dream and a lucid dream, but I think I've had those too... :-k
  8. What light would that be? Sorry to say this but you are exactly the kind of person who makes athiests and whoever else persecute Christians - if, actually, they're unfairly persecuted at all. The kind of religious person (and I have nothing against religious people per se) who tries to get others to believe things they don't want to believe. In that process you and the others who argue against you create a tense and negative atmosphere. You have no proof for God's existence, and we have no proof for God's unexistence. (sp lol?) You have no grounds for attempting to force us to believe in your religion. As far as I'm concerned that's extremely immature and you can't see past the end of your own nose. No offence. im only doing it for ur own good since the way ur all headed is straight to hell. besides, we are so complex its clear we were designed. i did not evolve from a monkey. Give me solid concrete proof, and I'll start going to church. I'll pray every day, call myself a Christians, and not eat fish on Fridays.

  10. Ooh great idea! : Name: Melissa Race: Water nymph Gender: female Age: 18, but acts older Equipment: wears a turquoise gown made of silk and diamond necklace and anklets, use a water bow (see below) goes barefoot Weapon(s): a water bow... a bow made of hazel wood that shoots bolts of ice and stone. the bow can also shoot water through a small pipe where the arrow slots are. You can poison the water, or use extremely hot water. Is your character peaceful, a warlord, or neutral?: a neutral Other Characteristics/Hobbies (So I know what to base around your character): Melissa can be manipulative and decieving but she can rarely be compassionate, though she tries never to be overly cruel or harsh, and she always keeps her temper.
  11. ^appreciates how people can be nice :
  12. Cool man! Reminds me of Aztec culture and how they sacraficed people for thier gods. :ohnoes: Thankyoooooooooooooooooooou  sssh, i don't think it was supposed to be a compliment... :uhh: joking :D it was a very nice verse, you're so imaginative! :

  14. You school got closed because the bus's tyres got slashed? That's ridiculous. Or is it one of those places where everyone lives like 10 miles away?
  15. Woooot thanks all you guys! : Also to a couple... please be sure not to post twice! But rest in assurance your support is most appreciated.
  16. Ah now, here is the reason why Christians and other religious people are often generalised and badly treated. Many Christians are so sure they're right - 'omg, I will go to heaven, you willl suffer everlasting torture in hell' that the athiests get sick of it and start insulting them. u cant blame us. it is frustrating to see ppl who just cant see how things are even when its this simple. it makes us think there kinda thick tbh.  But it's not that simple. Some want to believe - some don't. There is no solid proof for the existence or non existence of God, and until someone finds some, which I doubt anyone will, as rushrock said, people need to learn to respect and accept other people's beliefs.
  17. Ah now, here is the reason why Christians and other religious people are often generalised and badly treated. Many Christians are so sure they're right - 'omg, I will go to heaven, you willl suffer everlasting torture in hell' that the athiests get sick of it and start insulting them. I have no idea whether God exists or not. I however am firmly against religion and I often feel unfriendly to people who are dedicated devoted Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Siekhs, or any other religion, because I'm terrified of saying something wrong  . Religion causes so much trouble, I'm not sure it's worth it. Even right here on this forum it's happening before our eyes - athiests and Christians/other religions just aren't willing to get along. ^Same goes for athiests. I'm such a hypocrite lol.
  18. You have got to be one of the most unintelligent kids I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. I've separated your post into separate points to distinguise what you're actually trying to say. 1. As far as I'm concerned, 'shut the hell up' is swearing. But hey even it's not it's really not a nice thing to say. Sephiroth King was either getting at something you haven't understood, or he made a simple mistake. 2. Phsyical strength has absolutely no moral meaning when it comes to right and wrong. The fact that you've even mentioned you could beat Sephiroth King in a fight is sickening. Do you think anyone actually cares who is muscly? The fact is, you need to calm down. Anyhow I'm guessing you're about eight years old - so he probably could, not that it matters. 3. Um where the heck did you get that quote from? You are completely misinterpreting everything we've both said. We are not nerds and you have no right to make assumptions like that. I suggest that you've until matured a little, get out of these forums and stop annoying us.
  19. I certainly don't have a problem with anyone disliking this poem. What I do have a problem with, however, is you assuming that we're not being honest just because they liked it. I am saying you're narrow minded because you're refusing to accept someone could have different opinions to you - because Lee and archimage enjoyed it you are saying they're dishonest. Not fair. And before you go throwing insults about, you're just making a fool of yourself by swearing and calling various people weirdos. If you want to make a good impression then start acting your age and not like a spoilt six year old.
  20. Please learn to respect other people's opinions. Lee and archimage were being honest and you have no reason to doubt them - this doesn't give you the right to accuse others of being dishonest, or, far worse, 'weirdo's. So, please, in future keep your narrow minded assumptious opinions to yourself. Personally, I really enjoyed reading it. It needs alot of editing as the rhythm is kinda non existent in about 3 of the verses but some of the phrases you used I thought were very creative. The rhyming too was fun, but (and this is a lesson I need to learn too, lol) if you're going to rhyme, make it more consistent. Hooray for this verse! The rhythm is great, it just reads professionally. So, yeah - it's pretty good I think, but like lee said - work on the rhythm and rhyme! Otherwise, it was a fun, descriptive poem.
  21. Ok, I've had a better idea! : Instead of having 800 names I'll wait until I have edited my original post 220 times. I think this would be ok, right now I'm on 103 and I usually all 1-3 people everytime I edit it, so that would be very roughly 200 more people. Then I'll keep going until I get to the next hundred, and send this to Jagex.
  22. Yes. I don't really know what to type. :-k As I'm in a very lazy mood. So for now I'll just say... Yes. :

Hm it's too epic for me. I like it - the words and vocab are really great, and I like the length. The last 'verse' in particular I think is great, but not really my kind of thing.

  25. O.O nice story! It was a fun read and got started quickly - I like the way you've got into the real plot even before Chapter 2. However I do think the chapters are waaay too short, it wouldn't do you any harm to put the Intro (correct name - 'Prologue' sounds more authentic) and Chapter One together and add some more detail - for instance may describe the bar James walks out of, and instead of 'looked up into the night air' you could make this more interesting by using unusual vocabularly - i.e, 'Stopped dead in his tracks, James's eyes flickered upwards to the inky dark canvas of sky,' There is definitely alot of improvements you could make - brush it up here and there, the first sentence is ok but the words 'nothing wrong there' seem a little out of place. You've spelt Falador wrong with an A instead of O, and try not to repeat words. I must say though in general the description is pretty good (maybe try to describe more things... set a 'target' for the amount of adjcetives/advergs per paragraph/sentence maybe), and so is your spelling and grammar. Lovely start, the title Lethal Ice also sounds fantastic! =D> PS. New line for every new speaker! :)
