I remember taking this before and getting a completely different answer... but to be honest I think that was because I didn't understand any of the questions. #-o Can't be bothered to upload it but I got exactly in the middle of the Libertarian/Left square :) Btw, can someone explain the difference between authoritarian and libertian? I've got a rough idea from the names but I'm not sure.

Religion can give people hope and courage, but is it really worth it after all the violence, wars and death it's caused? To name but a few, and to the guy who said something about scientists fighting among themselves too; the Crusades in the Middle Ages, the English Civil War, Al Qaeda, the Huguenots in France in the 17th century, the Spanish Inquisition, the Thirty Years War, not to mention innumerable smaller acts of religious intolerance. No, I'm not trying to say science has never caused fights, but it's ridiculous to say that science has caused more than religion. If anyone can name a scientific clash-of-belief that's killed hundreds of thousands of people in one go, please do.

Umm, it depends. I'd probably give them my pass for email, but i wouldnt be happy someone else using my MSN... I dunno though it would depend how much I trust them. As for forums, tipit, etc... no way, never... I just wouldn't trust them, whoever they were.

1. Who inspires You. My dad, he has so much common sense, he's incredibly well-liked by everyone who knows him and I don't think I'm being biased. He pretty much never argues with anyone, because he knows how to sort things out peacefully and ensure everyone gets the best out of it. There's so many other people... including fairly obvious people like Gandhi, Nelson Mandhela, Martin Luther King... all these people were heroes because they stood up for those with no voices, and changed the world for the better, because of what they believed in. I have incredible respect for the Suffragettes, some of their methods were violent but they changed womens' worlds. They stood up for basic, democratic human rights which had been neglected for a long time, like the woman's right to education and the ability to vote, and in the face of so many adverseries they won their fight. 2 Do u have a role model and if so who? No, I have no rolemodels, I aspire to be inspired by the people who inspire me but in the end I hope I'll never try to be someone I'm not.

Overall I really like it but there are some parts that just don't (in my opinion) fit at all. This bit doesn't really work... It's as though you're one of the army, speaking about how you're feeling, and then suddenly you switch to talking about the army as if you're not one of them. It just sounds a bit weird, especially read aloud. Anyway I'm not trying to be dictatorial but it would sound better if it went like this... With guns at our backs, And blades on our hands, Our minds are set, We've made a desicion, No turning back now, Keep your eye in precision, Our hearts and souls set aflame, Our pride put on the line, There's alot of very small things that would overall make it sound alot more professional, ie. 'blades on our hands' doesn't work... It should probably be "blades at our hands", which works better because it partners the previous line, but not so it sounds boring. It's getting a bit of rhythm... with guns at our backs, and blades at our hands... TBH the rhythm kinda wavers throughout the whole thing... if it was kept in one continuous pattern it would sound better read alot. I loved the second half of the poem, but the last two lines sound pretty odd after it. The poem is about an army who are fighting bravely, "standing strong", with "the heart to survive". So to then say "Skull and bones everywhere, This is the beast of war" doesn't really make sense. That sounds like something out of a Runescape poem, doesn't fit with the strength of the rest. This poem, as far as I can see, is about the courage of the soldiers who are fighting, not at all about the horror of death and bloodshed but the strength of people who gather together for the same cause. Anyway sorry if I've been critical but I actually did really like it:)

This thing is so cool, you will soil yourself. I did.

It's pretty cool, judging from the picture... but I have to agree, ^, I think it's horribly ugly... And seriously, are you serious about soiling yourself? -
Oooooh... Dark chocolate pancakes friends my dog my family TIF and lots more

Sheesh... calm down.... Please don't make assumptions like that, Parabola... I don't understand why you guys are getting so worked up about it. I seriously had no idea you guys were getting so annoyed by it, so it would be appreciated if you would stupid making silly presumtions. I'm not the only one who made a thread, so why are you all having a go at me? (Not that I have a problem with that... I s'pose) How2PK, if you're frustrated about the amount of spammy threads on this forum why not stop being a hypocrite and just PM us and possibly a mod? It seems like more of a sensible option rather than to wind yourself up over something that could be sorted out extremely easily. Once again - my apologies.

Leaving from tuesday... Check my sig. It says 'Last day on Tif'.

My apologies everyone, being one of the contributors. I had no idea everyone was feeling so annoyed about them until I posted. :? Btw, no, my thread was not for attention... However, personally for me I do think it's nice to have a thread for people wanting to say their final goodbyes. Yes, maybe it could be considered a little spammy - but as pompey spud ^ said, it's cool to know when people are leaving, and, sometimes, how to get in touch. Still, sorry if annoys you. One of the reasons for me leaving is because me and Lee got talking about it... and what made me think 'Yeah, why not?' is that OT, personally, has become really boring recently. I dunno, I've probably had a part in that, but seriously, I'm spending less and less time here anyway. DGi is turning out to be alot more fun and chatty, despite the arguments... Again, not an advertising campaign...

offtopic...I would, personally say, never hit a woman because they're a woman. Exactly the same moral code should apply for men. Being a feminist, as far as I know, isn't about making women better than men, just equal.
-
I leave on Tuesday.
-
Er/// youtube? and btw, should this be in the Music and Movies forum?
-
I try to be myself all the time, but it does get hard sometimes. I hate society and all it's stupid morals. I personally try to be pleasant and nice as much as possible, and to be fair to others, and I think that's really all that matters.
-
Of course not Suzi, you're a ... *tries to think of nice metaphor* You're a fairy in a forum full of goblins! :  (sorry, goblins, no offence)

Personally, I just hate the concept of generalising people into some kind of sad, pathetic 'group' such as emo, or goth, or whatever. As for clothes, I will tell you bluntly - I wear in general what I want to wear and I don't give a damn what others do. Usually for me, jeans/long trousers, top of some kind. I haven't worn a skirt for years... but i would hate to have my fashion sense classified in some kind of general statement. It's really demening on the individual.
