http://www.solardeathray.com/about.html Looks interesting... As for your ray... WOW that looks sooo cool! If you were to put them closer together would that help? I dunno. What you've done so far looks wicked, keep us updated.

Enslaved by fashion...hm. I do think we have a 'right' to look good, if we choose to. If you think you look nice in some old 50's dress then fine, wear it. People will pass you and think 'Nice style!' But choosing clothes for the sake of fashion I think is a terrible thing to do. As for 'enslavement' I certainly think we are pressured into not expressing ourselves and be fashionable, rather than looking good. (Though of course the two are different, you can be both!)

Spirits of Shadows (my book, chapters 1 and 2)

Likes my name. 8-) But no, in the title 'Me, Myself and Issy' that character has 0% connection with me. Just a name I decided would suit her. -

Read the first paragraph, stopping there for now. As yet needs more flow, and less repition. Honestly, you use the word 'failing' about six times, and motionless twice. It sounds really unprofessional. Title sounds good but 'Chapter One - Issy and John' not very imaginative. Otherwise... meh, good. -
Some people are proud of their identity. Why deny them that? I'm proud of being Jewish, and I like being around Jewish culture. Pretending other identities don't exist and that we are all the same doesn't seem like the best solution to me... Ah, but that's the difference between culture and race. Culture you can choose, but race you can't.

Affirmative action? That won't do any good... Best way to forget racism is to forget race.

Cool! Does that make me the first christian ever to not believe in god? Can I have a prize? Or are you saying that I'm actually a closet christian? I suppose you'd know best. I suppose it makes me the second as well. I don't see how opening presents as part of a traditionally Christian holiday therefore must mean i'm a christian. A christian is defined on their beliefs, I don't believe in Christianity, ergo i'm not a christian, yet I still open presents. Is it a paradox? Or simply a foolish statement on Striker's behalf? My family aren't Christian, we don't believe in God. We use the holiday as an 'excuse' to see family, and share the festive spirit. Lighten up, it's something that brings pretty much everyone, Christians and athiests, together, for our own enjoyment. I still call myself an athiest.

Nice storyline, it's amusing and slightly comical. There's quite alot of spelling and grammar mistakes. I'd be happy to correct them for you. Including '10k' should be ten-thousand. The style of the writing doesn't flow 100% well but I think it works. Maybe replace the word 'pk' with warrior, or wilderness-hunter, or something like that. You could try adding more description and of course there's mistakes, but I liked it.

It's an excuse to see family, be united, share in the festive spirit, and eat turkey. :)

Basically the Bible says something along these lines... feel free to contradict me. The Virgin Mary was engaged to a man called Joseph, who belonged to the house of David. One day she was visited by an angel, who told her she was to give birth to a son, the son of God, and his name would be Jesu, or Jesus. She was confused and asked how it was possible as she was a virgin. I can't remember what the angel said next but it was probably about having faith or something. The Roman Emperor (Augustus?) had arranged a sensus (not sure what for but I think it's when you count all the people in the country) Joseph had to travel to Bethlehem, where he was born, and so he got a donkey and walked from Nazareth. When they arrived it was late at night and all the inns were full. Joseph arranged to borrow a stable for the night. Meanwhile some shepherds were sleeping in a field when the angel Gabriel told them the son of God was being born, and to go to him, so they did. Far away the Wise Men followed a star towards the stable. Jesus was born in the manger, and the Wise Men gave him frankinsense, (sp?) myrh(sp?) and gold. We celebrate Christmas because it was originally the birth of Christ, but nowadays many people just use the holiday to give presents, eat turkey, and see family.

My mum climbed Macchu Picchu the hard track to the Sun Gate a few years ago, that's about 4900 feet? I'm probably wrong, I can never remember this kind of thing, lol. Also... title?! I thought you meant drugs or sugar hits or something, ha.

I think I've seen Jessica Alba's name in every other post...

Found a link for that song. I think she's got a great voice and it really suited this song. But it's a shame- X-Factor winners never really get anywhere, do they? It would be great if someone did but it's like, they win and six weeks later no-one can remember their name. Shame, I liked the video.

Don't support. RS mods have more pressing problems than about 12 people wanting a new kind of robe. Come on guys think about it. They won't care. Don't waste their time.

Oh, I'm known for it. Joking! My mum often gets presents for the sons of her friends and colleagues. Still the fact that she is scraped for time points to the fact that maybe she was rushed and got you something quickly, rather than choose carefully?
-
What do you mean? Speaking for both of us, what the heck has everyone got against Canada?
-
Maybe it's for a nephew, or a colleague is having a son or something. Anyway if it is for you, I suppose just act thankful. Especially if she's scraped for time right now it will give her alot of pleasure when she sees her son is happy. I know it's not nice to lie about stuff but it's Christmas! Spread the love and all that, she got it to make you happy and if it does she too will be happy, if that makes sense. It's a nice gift and hey, you could have some fun with it!

I kind of liked it, although there is lots of repition (i.e, the word 'small') and alot of grammatical mistakes. However I kind of enjoyed what I read, but I didn't finish it. It just didn't grip me. I do like the first two paragraphs though. I'd be happy to proofread it for you.

I wonder what she would say about the DaVinci code... Anyway, this is a step too far. It's entertainment, not some crazy preaching about witchcraft.
-
But there's a huge difference between faith and hope. Hope is encouraging yourself to believe, or at least think that there is a way that something positive will happen. Faith is believing in something, or taking what you are told for granted, without a shred of evidence.

English - underage pregancies, chavs, rain, dogs, amd pompous old arses wielding riding whips. The French call us beefs. French - everyone other person is a weeping dying poet lying on a silken couch with one arm dangling mournfully down as they whisper their last poetic words wearing a string of onions and a beret. The English call them frogs. Swiss - CHOCOLATE!!!!! Irish - drunken monks doing things they shouldn't. Scottish - kilts, tall mountains, snow, inaudible Scottish accents. Welsh - Bad weather and dead sheep. Italian - Fantastic cooks who live off pizza, pasta and icecream, dark hair, beautiful accents. Spanish - Siestas under palm trees ten minutes before a cocktail by the poolside and seafood for afters. Austrians - skiers, The Sound of Music... fa, lalalaaaaa... Greece - cheese, temples, and... well, greece.
