Um. Isn't that the summer one? :?

London. Er...that would scare me to death. I mean...I know you guys are a great bunch of people, but you do not know who will show up. We should make some kind of code or something. Like, book a church hall or something for the day, and get someone responsible from TIF to stand at the door, asking for the code... NO IT WOULD NOT BE HYT, YOU GUYS ARE SO ORIGINAL! And then you couldn't be let in unless you got the right code... or something... *looks vague, strolls off with hands in pockets trying to look innocent*

Omg. How old are you? Because, you know, being 12 and a girl probably doesn't help. Though I'm having a growth spurt lol I've grown 4 inches in the last year. =D>
-
Probably Viktor. Can't think of anyone else that I tend to agree with. Just had a look around to jog my memory- some of the people probably... Hobgoblin (Was planning to make this list alot longer, but apparently not. Just those two.)

Dang it, i'm shorter than Kayla. :( Last time I checked I was ~5'4". Aaaw! *hugs the shorter person.* :D Yay! I get one too! :D :D (4''11)

For a friend of mine (Username Magictheo) could you make this siggeh pl0x? Size - max for TIF. Background colour - gold and a hint of tawny. Render - Top hat tinted black, spinning across the top with a magic wand in the middle of the sig. The wand should ahve gold and black stars coming out from the top. Border - Black and gold diagonal stripes. Other - background dotted with gold stars that are fading into the background but the shapes of the stars are still sharp. Thanks alot! Issy. -
4''11. I win... Lol I've always been short.

Is it just me or is everyone on OT in a pretty good mood? Feels like it. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Good on him. Amazing bowler, that record is amazing. I don't think you could have possibly messed that word up more.. Oh yeah? He could have spelt it backwards. :)
-
I like it... but Al-kharid shouldn't freeze, it's too far south. Make it Varrock, and we can have snow everywhere!
-
You know what? We should arrange to meet each other. Like, a TIF reunion of 2006ers in like 10 years or something. That would be so cool! Only problem is half of us live in the other half of the world to the other half of TIFers. Hmm.

Who would've guessed? My aims for life, including minor ones - - Get a book published - Meet a couple of people on the forum (feel free to msn me, guys! is[Caution: Jagex Rule Violation][email protected] - Reach a professional standard in ballroom, latin and argentine tango before the age of 28. - Climb to Macchu Picchu's Sun Gate. (Inspired by my mum, who did this just before my 9th birthday. My mum is one of the best in the world, is always encouraging me to do my best, and helping along the way. I've always felt I could talk to her about anything because she is such a supportive, wonderful person. One of my most important role models - Mum!) - Do London Bridges every year until the age of 18. - Do the London Brighton before I'm 15. - Learn how to use my dad's camera and recording stuff. In terms of careers, the three (very ambitious) things I'd like to do would be, an author, film director, or professional dancer.

Panda, you're so sweet. I switch with... RAGEN! Because he is such a cool guy, he does alot of music, I would love to try fencing sometime, etc. (and hey he lives near star in the sky, I could always pay her a visit!) Or, hobgoblin11, because he lives in Nottingham (I think?) and I'd love to have a shot at that Trade-Up game.

Would you rather be sociaable, or academic? This I think is one of the huge problems in our society. Everything is based on materialism and wealth. In fact there is a European country (again my dad told me this so it may not be true :) ) that allows families 3 day weekends. However in England and America too, it's all about money. Where does happiness come in? I s'pose it doesn't really count. When Tony Blair sits down for a meeting with the Labour party I'm sure he's not thinking about the happiness in his country, just making money. At least that's the picture I get...

But surely, if everyone is equal, there wouldn't be a government at all...

Best way not to pay for stuff- Quit. -
Sand + Spout = Destorying Spout. Similar to the plant and water effects. Can someone tell me what that yellow stuff from the trees do? I haven't found a use for them so far. Water won't make them grow, although I'm assuming they're some kind of seed or fruit.

Righto. Just spoke to my dad and apparently communism is where everyone in the country or whatever is Equal. But then, he said, the government ends up with a ridiculous amount of power. But isn't that just a result of communism, as opposed to pure communism? While we're on the topic can someone explain what communism is in more detail and why the government would end up in complete, repressive control. (This is going by what my dad said to me, so I wouldn't be too assumptious.) What does everyone have against communism? Just interested. Please, no Wiki links. I can't decipher all that waffle talk. So, if someone could basically just tell me WHAT THE HECK communism actually is, in simple English. And answer these two questions - how would the government end up in complete control? (Doesn't make sense to me) and what does everyone have against communism? Help needed, thanks! And while we're at it... what's capitalism?

The beginning (no offence here, I appreciate this was two years ago) sucks. 'sb and horvic were talking in varrock in horvics workshop,' Not particularly interesting. Description and paragraphing are good but grammar is terrible. Some tiny minor things in just the first few pages could really improve the whole feeling of the story. I'll just point out a few things you might want to note. See how much more professional this sounds with only a few changes. Even the tiniest things like the placing of commas and stops can alter the whole atmosphere. You want to get people reading at the right speed, (even in their head) pausing in the right places, 'slumped over dead' sounds like one phrase with little effect. Short sentences or phrases create tension as long as you don't use them too much. Instead of --flash back-- you could put just a few lines of writing which would take about five seconds but make a huge difference. --His memory was suddenly roused as he remembered that fateful night many years ago.-- Also --flash back-- doesn't help me at all, as the beginning is already very confusing what with the different colours, people, jumble of events. It might help to put who's flashback it was as I had trouble working it out until I read . I'm not saying you should make everything very explicit but a couple of details might be missing. I LOVE this sentence! Slighty descriptive, flows, with a hint of humour. Nice way to end a chapter about killing, on a comical note, maybe a comma after 'door' would help pronounce the fact that he passes out due to drink. Again, maybe more commas? I put suggested ones in bold. It just helps the reader to understand the pace of the sentence, which can completely change the effect. Remember, capital letters for proper nouns and beginnings of sentences. In this particular case the repition of 'good natured' works well (I think it does anyway.) Quite a sudden change from ^ to this paragraph. 'One day' is so cliched, maybe more original and descriptive, something like - 'It was a bright, optimistic-looking day when Lauren was strolling back from the Yanille markets, carrying baskets laden with fish, bread, and various exotic spices. She looked up to see the tower of the Magic Guild far above her, and suddenly had an idea. (Don't repeat words alot, like 'walked'. Well I've read the first three pages but I'll continue with this later. Personally I think it's quite a fun, enjoyable story but you need to be more disciplined with yourself. When you've finished writing a certain amount, say a sentence, a page, or a chapter, read it back to yourself. It will help you to see everything from the reader's point of view and pick up the pace of the story. Well done so far! =D> (And for the record, 183 pages is AMAZING!)

Ha, thank god I'm the youngest in my family (that's about 80 people who are still alive, lol.) except for two people, eight year old Duncan and nine month old Nick. But a couple of years ago my auntie had some friends around who had six year old kids, they were hilarous. You know those party-popper things, and when you pull the string the confetti string shoots out? Well basically someone dropped a brussel sprout at lunch and they cut it in half and put half each in a party popper, then shot them at the ceiling. My dog ate them afterwards.   I love my family.

I know The Mattster, he's a good friend of mine. Anyone remember tokytoky3333? YEah, well, we live in the same house. And there's a few people I would LOVE to meet, including Babybyers, Archimage A, Gattree, MPC, Viktor, Ragen. I've also arranged to meet someone, but I'm not telling you who. I'm pretty sure I know where Ragen lives. Love to meet ya in the distant future! (Well, at least we're in the same country...)
