I don't mind them since it's hard to get PKed by them if you have a good amount of experience with the abyss. You need to bring a tele-tablet or an ectophial.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The only ones that are really dangerous are the ones that use teleblock + holding spell, but with good reflexes and your cursor on your teleport these can usually be avoided. Also the ones that use DDS specials and get you to low health and poisoned before you get inside the abyss are a worry. Don't risk your stuff and teleport to a bank if one of these get you to low health.

If Jagex wanted people to not pk there they wouldve put the abbys near a bank out of wildy. You complain about people using the full potential of the wildy?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They dont do it for cash, just for the enjoyment of chasing prey and killing them. Personally I'd much rather go for a big game hunt then these small pks. You waste runes ( who cares? its just some pixel runes ), you waste time ( dont you do exactly the same on an online game? ), You have no honour ( True, they can kill. but its nothing compared to a real pk ).

I know they are anoying, although I dont speak from experience, but its all part of the game. And it gives it a slightly more realistic way of how the real world works. And the people surrounding it.

I dont mind RC pkers even though I RC reguarly. Its a trade off between making tonns of GP and getting pked every so often. I dont know why people complain about them so much, its not like Jagex accidently put the mage dude in the wild.

It's not a sport, its a bloody olympic event.

 

 

 

6) There too scared- Yes some abyss pkers are too scared to go deep so they go to lvl 5 and try to pk us, most of the time unsuccfully. Like i see them one iteming and even one wearing a steel dagger.

yes these are the most dangerous,but you can easyily get away. just bring a paryer pot and sara brew and when u get teleblocked and entangle drink a dose of each and turn on prayer(probaly melle one) sara brew is helpful as it bring ur defence up and health up(even past your max if u havent been damaged to much) and well prayer pot is helpful as well you got pray to help against them lol

To be honest most do it for cash i was standing there last night talking to them and most do it for free glorys lol, but ya some just do it for fun.

i successfully made 2k nats wearing green d hide...wow these rc pkers are really good...lol. ive been killed onece and that was when i lagged before teleing to the abbyss...oh and after about 5 or 6 runs i drink a super anti to protect from the annoying poison.

What items would i need to pkill some rc pkillers? dhides and a dds? I might have a go.

now, some people use the glory ammy method which can be harder to escape mages but I find the home tele method very good. Besides, like some people say is that as long as abyss is in wildy, the rune prices are in balance.

 

 

 

I also noticed that if you bring d hide/rune pick, that raises chance of getting rc pked. So, I usually bring a bronze pick because it works like a rune pick in abyss.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But still, even if you get killed with bronze pick/p ess that really can add up to 2.8k which won't pay for all those runes spent.

people pk us because they think we got good stuff normaly i only got 1 click telly and ess and addy wc axe so when they kill me they dont get much stuff

It's the wilderness. They have the right to pk you, for whatever reason they have even if it's just to be annoying. You're the one who choose the route to make money through the Abyss.

I use the abyss quite often and all I can do is laugh at the pkers. :P Most of them try to kill you with a dds, which you can easily make it to the mage or teleport out. Most of the time when they teleblock you, they can't snare/entangle you through your dragon hide.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want to piss some of the PKers off, bring a DDS and some sort of valueable hat (I'm wearing red boater) and attack them. :D

anyway, let's just say that I brought 2.8k in items to abyss rc and a ancient with bursts tries to hit me. In this case let's pretend the cost per burst was 800gp ea. He uses it 3 times and kills me. He will gain a few gp. If he used it a lot and I got away by abyss/tele, he wastes a lot more than he bought.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now, pretty much he is doing it for sport (reminds me of an Aesop fable with the hound and the hare (the hare was running for his life but the hound ran for his supper). There is a cat and mouse game in abyss rcing and the best thing to do is to get there as fast as possible. It's rare you'd get tbed because like many people posted here, they are "beginning" pkers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well, rc pking isn't a good start in pking because in real pking, your target may not run off unless he was out of food or something else. Even then, like the other people and I posted, rc pking doesn't give good money and the worst targets are those wearing nothing.

I take the same stance as Rune User, rc pkers in some weird twisted way actually help us rcers. To the smart, prepared, and experienced rcer's they are an annoyance. After so many run in's with pkers we learn what to take and how to stay safe. To the unprepared, unexperienced, uninterested rc pkers are a reason to buy runes instead of make them. :thumbsup:

actually ive noticed a decrease in rc pkers recently.

Rc pking can be fun but it gets lame fast.

Well, personally it is lame because half of the time they can run off and make it at abyss and tele. As long as they don't tb and you use home tele, you have a chance of surviving.

Now, many of us get bored after pking very little or none. So, what is your opinion on this new sport that is sweeping all abyss rcers. Why do people want to make little cash over abyss rcers that are worth 20k-100k in items?

Well I don't pk for the money, its just a benefit. I pk for the fun, I just enjoy it and I admit I get a laugh outa rc pking.
