It's silly when people say there are less than 50 in the game. I'm a big staker, and most of my friends are. I own a cracker, and there are probably about 10 more between the people only on my friends list.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A couple of weeks ago, two of the biggest stakers in rs were banned (seemingly for no reason) and they had about 15 between them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If there are this many crackers between such a small number of people, its probable that there are a few hundred in-game.

 

 

 

The only reason it seems so few is that you cant show off a cracker like you can a phat, and most of the people that have them right now are keeping hold of them.

and dont forget hackers, scammers, etc who might have scammed a cracker and got banned. They go with the unused accounts. and of course those auto owners who were banned in the 15k bannage a long time ago. Then we have those who quit, those who opened theirs, those who still have theirs but are waiting for good prices to sell and didn't tell anyone jsut to allow prices to go up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'd say there's about 100 known crackers, but a lot more unknowns.

I would say about 300+, they would have to be more than 100 out there.

Between 100 and 1000 imo

Theres a few people i bet who got a ton of crackers when they came out, left them on the account and quit so there could be 500+ but in the game id say 90-120 being traded or on active users accounts.

I think that there are probally at least 100 in unused accounts and 50-150 in circulation.

My idea of how prices of rares rise is such,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Player A gets a new blue phat. He saved years for it.

 

 

 

Now player A gets bored of it in about say 1-2 hours. he sells it to Player B. Now he made some pretty good profits. Player B sees the market going higher and higher that day. He sells onto Player C. Now Player A sees his mistake and rebuys it from Player C.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In my idea of the market its more people but they sell to each other and buy from a person that might have just sold the original owner his hat back.

imo there are 0-30 in the market that are sold and bought. i think there around 2k-3k in unused/banned/layed off accounts that just are lost :|

im sure there is still duped crackers around from 2003 duping...i think they didnt remove every single cracker that got made and trade then so its possible there is more duped crackers than genuine ones?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

when crackers dropped on christmas, there was only one bank page if i remember correct so most ppl didnt save them because their bank was already full of more important items....and most ppl who saved them, were using mules to hold them...i did so as well.

I bet there are hundreds left on old, forgotten accounts, but as for the ACTIVE ones...I say less then 20.

I'm thinking in the region of 150-200. Half of those are probably on inactive accounts.
