Third: I prefer to be able to USE my system. I don't want it to act like a lemon from a evil used-car dealership. (All used car salesmen are servants of Satan. I am utterly convinced of this!) And, for the kicker, I don't have time to constantly play the "allow or deny" game. I would use my hard drive for kindling if this became so on my computer. It looks absolutely amazing, but it asks for permission to do a lot of simple tasks such as copying files to and from a USB thumb drive. Vista offers a very high degree of user customization but at the moment I'm very satisfied with XP. I reckon it will take a couple of years for the majority to migrate to Vista; my experience with the latter tells me it was released prematurely, and wasn't properly tested.
