April 23, 200719 yr I prefer to have XP. First: I want no security problems. Second: I don't want to learn the tricks for a new OS yet. Third: I prefer to be able to USE my system. I don't want it to act like a lemon from a evil used-car dealership. (All used car salesmen are servants of Satan. I am utterly convinced of this!) And, for the kicker, I don't have time to constantly play the "allow or deny" game. I would use my hard drive for kindling if this became so on my computer. April 23, 200719 yr I've been working with Vista at work and boy is it different! It looks absolutely amazing, but it asks for permission to do a lot of simple tasks such as copying files to and from a USB thumb drive. Vista offers a very high degree of user customization but at the moment I'm very satisfied with XP. April 23, 200719 yr Seems like a lot of people are still using good ole XP. I reckon it will take a couple of years for the majority to migrate to Vista; my experience with the latter tells me it was released prematurely, and wasn't properly tested.
