The new mace has a great special... for pkers/duellers that is ... remove all prayer points in 1 hit???!!! Can someone confirm that it works outside of the quest? (100% bar used tho)

3 months later we get something comparable to mith, rangers get armor for lvl 30s, and mages get robes that cost 100x as much as normal robes and have the same mage bonus.

Then I realize they gave us a quest aimed towards level 40s

 

And I predict the reward to be something along the lines of:

 

1 Quest point

 

3 Emeralds

 

2k Mining exp

 

*insert useless item here*

3k prayer exp

 

ancient goblin mace

 

you can now use a train to get from goblin city to dwarf city for free

 

you can now "buy" goblin village teleport spheres from that goblin that also makes normal teleport spheres.

I must say im becoming increasingly impressed by jagex needs to get up hopes, and then releasing extremely disappointing quests.

 

 

 

Theres a lot of potential in this quest line, but this quest was just lame.

 

 

 

I had my hopes up for what lies below, which sounded good enough to actually be something, and I had my hopes up for this quest, as the storyline has some potential, as I said before, but Im starting to believe that getting my hopes up is not the wisest thing to do these days.

 

 

 

Lets just hope next month will give us something better then 2 quests totalling about 1 hour of playing time.

It's not neccesary to spoil the surprise either. The only thing enjoyable from a new nubquest like this.

The new mace is also tradable atm, but i cant figure out how to replace it. I have talked to practically everyone i have contacted through the quest and it still doesnt work.

Was hoping for bracelets but ohh well they'll release them soon enough. Quest was disappointingly easy but the cut scenes were worth doing it for me. Some of the best I've seen in any quest.

If it gives you prayer from NPC's (say you hit a 15 you get 15 prayer on a fire giant) then this would be better for training.

This looks like a cracking update. Watermelon seeds from temple trekking - superb! I mean who ever really used to plant wildblood seeds? Might have another go at trying to get that elusive lumberjack top now... I wish that they changed the probabilities of getting it though.

 

 

 

Quest looks pretty good too, I'll have to try it later (primarily because I want to keep my quest cape!).

edit : The mace sounds nice (a 99 prayer guy with full prayer outfit could pray for ages with that thing :ohnoes: ) but what I really want to try out for now is the train to the dwarven city. Sounds way faster then other train stations or Ectoing-Hoping-In-Fairy-Ring-Dialing-Walking.

If no this thing is awesome, not useless at all. You could go smash something with is to get prayer up, then when the spec bar is full again you can go do dangerous quests, duelling, pking... Lots of possibilities
