With the release of the Diamond Bracelet, enchanting it will make you never skull in the abyss for 5 trips. Now, any crafter can afford to buy all these, letting them take a glory SAFELY into the abyss, for this, I fear RC PKing has been destroyed completely, unless you like to waste skills for a helmet or some essence.

Lol, it's sad to see more people spend on these bracelets so they don't get pked and lose a glory. While they pay more than it would cost to lose it. Doesn't make sense that a bracelet lasts for around 200 natures and costs them 5k. So after 1k nats they lose 25k. Half of the price of a glory and you usually don't get pked that often.

Abyss Rcers complain about the value of their stuff being in danger from Pkers, so they make the miracle non0skull thing, then Pkers complain about their loss of buisiness.

Not hardly. With only 5 charges and non rechargeable players will soon tire of diamond mining or paying for them. Probably then only be used by folks slaying abyssals demons there instead of slayer tower or people repairing pouches (that dont know they can be repaired while in ur bank)

 

 

 

They really should have made it rechargeable if they wanted it to last or make it have more charges.

lol, everyones talking about using this always, i think it'd be better to use when you know there's a rc pker, and go to duel arena quickly and die, and no skull, come back to edge, wear the bracelet, until the pker goes away....imo getting 100diamonds doesn't take to long either way.

I don't really think you have something to worry about.

Anyone who PK's within 5 levels of the Zamorak Mage has no skill. I've seen one successful DM there ever...and it was an accident. People run from DM's. People waste hundreds of thousands of GP each day at the cheap possibility of snagging a freaking glory.

 

 

 

And I am sorry, but PKers in that region have the ugliest outfits ever.

I'm hoping that people will use the abyssal bracelet that way there are alot less rc pkers.

Basically my idea, plus the fact that taking it out of the bank every 5 trips would slow you down a bit more, and you couldn't keep it on the same cycle as a glory due to the difference in charges

Best update ever, now people who can actaully pk will be in the wild not some noobs who can't pk other pkers, so they have to take on the defenseless.

Or, you could and bank the ones with one charge left and alk them.

 

You'd get 2k back for one charge.

it just crumbles away so you would only have to withdraw it every 5 trips, then wear it, fill your pouches and withdraw again as normal, so really its only 2 extra clicks.

I feel this update will barely affect rc pking actually.

 

 

 

Lets consider the cost of diamonds. It is about 10k each for a ring of life, and although I am not certain what the exact price is, I think we can safely estimate it is around 5-10k. The diamond braclets also take a time to make and require several indredients. You must have a gold bar, a diamond, a braclet mould, and enough runes for level 4 enchant. You must smelt the gold, resmelt it into a bracelet and then enchant it. Now even though this could be done in about a minute, crafters will most likely be making a mass amount of these. That means crafters will have to buy all those diamons, which will really add up in the long run. It might not seem like alot, but little things add up to big things.

 

 

 

Continuing on with the actual bracelet, let us consider that this new item actually has charges and will 'burn up' just like a ring of life. The abyssal bracelet only has 5 charges, and then it goes away forever, goodbye diamond. Really I consider the bracelet a pest, it's just like recharging a glory every 5 rounds.

 

 

 

Third, I'm sure a fraction of our tip.it community are decent runecrafters. With the right equipment and a vast knowledge of pkers and their actions, it is almost impossible to actually be killed by a pker. Some people immeadiately think abyssal runecrafting is very dangerous, when you can actually dramatically reduce the risk if you know what you're doing. The only real threat to runecrafters are teleblockers, and they are quite rare. Most of them snare first too, so you can easily teleport away before they teleblock you. I do not consider being skulled a big problem, in fact I think it would make barely any difference if the abyss didn't skull you.

 

 

 

Really I don't think anyone has to worry about this. Rc pking will stay alive. I despise rc pkers, and not respect them. The fact that they think they can get an easy kill from runecrafters, and actually get it sometimes from the inexperienced, makes me frustrated. I believe pkers should stick with their own kind. I accept the fact that I am in the wilderness though, and that I could be killed. If I am killed I will only blame myself. In my opinion this update only helped the inexperienced rcers, who might have trouble staying alive the first few thousand natures. Experienced rcers should not waste their money on this, a ring of life is good enough.

Stupied it only has 5 charges I bet they will change to like 130 (Or what ever ring of forging has) because then its worth buying.

I really, dont think it will effect it either. People dont want to have to recharge a extra item just for a few runs. Although there will be a decent amount of users and non-users. I think this would mainly attract people who need the extra help while using the abyss.

the way i see it, there majority of rc pkers will, after finding a lack of skulled rcers, give up.

 

meaning that there should be no need for bracelets if there are no rc pkers still pking.

I know how people talk about how easy it is to evade pkers but I got entangled by a guy with D med, fighter torso and whip and only escaped cause he never hit me more that twice and I had home teletab. I had enough health to just go back to edgeville and drink a anti-pot and eat some lobbies.

 

 

 

Its still an easy way to make a buck for those lazy pkers.

Notice that in about an hour of rcing, you waste enough to buy yourself a new glory. (possible exaggeration) If you're that likely to get rc pked, this may not be the best skill for you.
