Out of all the possible events I did I got seven boots, pants and four hats... It appears that chances are pretty low. There was a thread about it back then. Personally i spent almost a week there.Used all routes,all NPCs, evaded/not evaded events and then...finnaly the darn shirt Didn't wear it ever since :( (not much of a lumberjack )

May 19, 200719 yr I got the darn tuber within 2 hours and 2 100% favours. Strangely just before the plant appeared, a nearby player wanted to sell her's to me, 500k she asked. Good thing I didnt buy, because 1 minute later the plant appeared.

May 19, 200719 yr I love Gout Tubers When the jungle clean up first came out, people didn't know how to get them out and some just didn't bring a spade I have collected over 67 since the Jungle clean mini game was release have been selling most of them for 250k each and some offers for higher (300k/350K even one offer for 400k) I have made over 18mil from them. Seriously? I planted two of mine! At least I still have one. People with fluffy pink avatars are generally expected to be nice.

May 20, 200719 yr Grr! I've been trying for a week now. Getting kind of desperate now... I have a red topaz machete and I've cut all kinds of bushes for several hours a day. I can't believe they make this kind of task a medium one!
May 20, 200719 yr On the first day, I was hacking away thinking it would take forever, then I turn around and see one right behind me. I dig it up. Sooo happy, then I decided to continue and get 100% favor and finish that part up (it was at 0% from my arm quest) and another one shows up and I dig it up. Sold it for 400k, I knew it wouldn't stay at that price. I love the random events where anyone can get the thing. 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed! May 20, 200719 yr I spent a bit more than 4 hours to get mine. I don't think that is a very long time to spend on a "task". We play a game that take literally months to 'level' in. Yet people seem to complain when they need to do task that only take a few hours. Seems strange to me. I enjoyed the mini game and it made my RS day just a little bit more enjoyable. 21 lag piles, 4 Pjs, 2 Party hat kills, 67 newbs teached.

You can't complete the achievement diary task that way. You have to have Safta Doc make one for you. To get the tubers, it's all just luck, really. Keep at it and you'll get on eventually. :
