I know I do it myself as well, but it's especially annoying when you hear it spoken by those American teenagers. Huu. Ah, you said it before me! My god it irritates me horribly. My sister saw one episode of Red Dwarf and now she considers herself a fan of the show (moreso then me) and uses the word constantly. I get called smeghead about thirty times a day. D: Pretty much any word my sister appropriates from television shows bug me. Teenage Australian girls should not say words like "Bollocks", "Sod" and "Git". It's only worsened by her use of American and English slang in single phrases. You sound like a stereotypical smeghead.
