June 18, 200719 yr What is the skill(s) you neglect the most? Personally, in my nooby days (first 2-5 days playing Runescape on Crazykid1321) I trained my mining from 1 to about 49, but once I reached that level, I left the skill entirely until I did The "Hero's quest" which then I trained it to its current level of 52. I also haven't really tried hunter. (currently level 5) Please also share the skills you have abandoned.
June 18, 200719 yr I really didn't try farming/crafting/herblore for the longest time. I had NO idea how to start herblore for the longest time. :( But now I love farming, don't mind crafting, and hate buying supplies for herblore. :P
June 18, 200719 yr I neglect...magic. This is based on my main tbh. I hate it...alching is boring and pcing it is a waste imo. However I can train it on my pure. =/
June 18, 200719 yr After I got my first ever account to 65+ mining I've gotten Itstruikou(my current main) to 52 for Legend's and 54 through quest rewards and have left it at that. I pretty much just refuse to train it because mining is no longer my main source of income. Pirate Rosetta stone. Learn a language while you scape.Sounds interesting, but these days how many people really speak Pirate?
June 18, 200719 yr runecrafting got 30 for highscores then quit it also mining, so boring and useless if u have moeny
June 18, 200719 yr Well I have neglected Hunter for a LONG Time, but its one of my favorite skills and I plan tobmake it my first 99 this summer. Tumblr. Follow me!
June 18, 200719 yr mine is runecrafting... got it to 14 in f2p (dont even remember doin it :-k) then stopped... been like a year or two now lol
June 18, 200719 yr Runecrafting, thieving, and agility. in my opinion, these 3 skills are maybe not that hardest to level, but definatly the most annoying. runecrafting gives very very minimal xp, thieving requires so much attention, and agility just gets boring.
June 18, 200719 yr Smithing, have not touched it since I got 99 mining, which is about 6 months ago. Personally I don't really like smithing compared to mining. Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
June 18, 200719 yr theiving.ill get it to 50 or 55 for quests but other than that i dont really train it.then again when i can use rougues den i might start training it alot more, you never know.
June 18, 200719 yr I neglect nothing. All my skills are 60+. I haven't trained some of them in quite a while, but I'll get to them eventually when I go for all 70+.
June 18, 200719 yr I have barely mined in the past three years, only getting one level the entire time I played. My lowest skill is 69 runecrafting, though, but I've trained it more often than mining, for example. Jack of all trades, master of thieving. 259th to 99 thieving. All stats 75+
June 18, 200719 yr I got 65 slayer February 2nd, 2006. Haven't touched that skill for almost a year and a half.
June 18, 200719 yr I've neglected smithing forever. I haven't raised it in 4 months since I went for my quest cape (Devious Minds).
June 18, 200719 yr mining is prolly the most neglected of mine. Got it to the lv to mine coal in f2p a year ago. Havnt touched it since. :anxious: Thanks to all those who have messaged me concerning a revamp of my Range-Slayer guide. Because of you all I will start rewriting it asap.[/color] Formerly RobinHoodie.
June 18, 200719 yr My mining is 62, but I haven't trained it in a year or so. I used to love mining coal in f2p in the wilderness coal mine- I liked the excitement of watching out for pkers and it used to be decent money. Mining iron is better money and exp, of course, but I didn't know that at the time. Now that I'm a member, I've decided that mining is just too boring a skill to train, and you don't really get rewarded for it until a ridiculously high level (just thinking about the amount of mindless clicking to get 85 makes me sick).
June 18, 200719 yr hunter, construction, fletching. i hate afk skills, and fletching and hunter are pretty much that. construction is just a waste of money. and nobody better say farming is an afk skill, you won't know what you're talking about. farming is awesome, same with mining. they are the one of the few skills that aren't afk, you have to click a lot and pay a lot of attention.
