Jagex Really Doesn't Like Pures?

wel its been interesting reading this post and cant undestand why so many people hate pures, why should u? they have taken just as much time and dedication to train stats, even though they are specific. and no not all pures are immature and young, i myself have a pure which is my main character, though i dunno if im classed as a pure these days (im from rsc and just started 2 play again on rs2) 65attk 50def 75str 1 magic :) . i just believe ppl who moan against pures are simpyl just jealous and believe they are the 1s who are immature and have 2 learn to live with pures and stop where whinging! amen

They are talking about mage/range pures who have trained only magic/ranged AND defence.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter whether Jagex hates pures. Different updates are released all the time.

 

 

 

Pures don't want to train defense, so complain when a new update requires defense to have the best chance, so what?

 

 

 

I don't want to train Agility, so if it means I have to miss out on some high level quests then because of it, so be it. I'm not going to complain about it.

I'm getting annoyed with people trying to justify not putting pures under a bracket, if a good 80% of pures (from the ones i've met) are blithering idiots i think i have good right to say pures are idiots, you can't not make small generalisations because its extremely rare to find something thats true of all cases.

They have also previously stated that they're target audience is themselves, so unless jAGeX are all 14 then I think they did intend for the game to be played by everyone, including adults

Well i just died at Jad's healers hands, must've been only 4 or 5 more hits on Jad away from getting a fire cape :evil: . So pures have no chance of doing the caves now due to the new movement of monsters :evil: .

I don't hate pures in the least, I was never a pker in the first place so I don't really care and one of my best friends has a pure, he trained his pure at pc and he's still training at pc, the update didn't hurt him in the least :|. I don't think lower levels will really level slayer very fast unless they do it from the start, and I don't know of many people who get memebrs right after tutoral island... I think jagex was trying to slow down pc products who only trained at pc for combat levels. I don't think they were slowed down to much though.

well... i do have a range pure I am playing on atm, and i've had one melee pure as well... never gotten either of them members, as my opinion is that it's not worth it..

 

 

 

the reason i own these pures are mostly because i'm curious about how good they will work.

 

 

 

I'm glad for the new update of PC, as pures, and other low combated characters, could get levels up very fast...

 

 

 

i don't have much against pures, but the fact that they have no, or a low defence level should dis-adventage them when training combat (read: fighting monsters) but within pc, it's easy to train without a defence level.

 

 

 

but again.. this is my opinion, others might think otherwise about it

1. you ( more likely) wouldn't have lvl 100+ that dont know the most common things

 

2. less pures ( i know we would still have pures but atleast we wouldn't see the insane stats all the time)

 

3. high lvls that have respect instead of some of these ppl that just pc'd all their stats just to "0wnz0r u"

 

 

 

aside from that i do like pc for letting ppl train their stats and not gaining any knowledge on how to eat and pot and so when they go pk they have no clue on how to do it :XD:

Why should somebody of 20-30 combat levels lower than youself be able to get the same experience as you by just tagging along. Its now much fairer system, and pures will have to work more for thier levels.

You are kinda suppose to train all of your skills to advance in game.

 

Well if your are lvl 60 you should have a balanced stats and not having 1 def and complaining you cant do this or do that.

sadly, the pures are both the disease and the cure, since people have to now make pure accounts to be able to compete with the other pure accounts.

I don't have anything against pures in particular, I think when people stereotype them as arrogant, selfish rulebreakers they are being ignorant. I have known a lot of rule-abiding pures; all of whom are really nice people. It might sound like a cliche, but I think the pure haters are just jealous in some way or form. :XD:

I always saw PC as a way for high levels to gain the massive 700k exp gaps each level and still have fun, Im glad they did this, its not meant for lvl 65s with 40 attack, 60 str, 1 def, just to gain like, 2 str levels at once.

What the hell are you talking about, 99% of pures sit in level 1-5 wilderness, if people dont want to encounter them go further north of it. No ones jealous of pures because pures pk utter crap. It would just be nice if lower levels could walk in the wild without being ambushed by "i zomgmahatma0wnz0rksj00pur3str11 x" dds specing 4 times and running off.

 

 

 

Oh and its ironic that you tell people who aren't pure need to learn to pk, its not hard to think you're a great pker when you go in the wild risking a 50k dds and a power amulet relying on auto killing with specs. I'm referring to 1 def pures because the further defence people go up the more skill is involved.

P2P pures would say that very long word of yours, however, if you want to go in the wilderness and not be harassed, would be to go in F2P. you won't be ambushed, nor would you be insulted.

 

 

 

In P2P I don't know, after 3 years away from it, I don't know how bad it is.
