The Real ET
Not sure if there's already a thread like this, hope not. :) Anyway, I was just talking to a friend about our first quests we remembered. Obviously, most players do Cook's Assistant first, but what about after that? What are your favorite questing memories? I remember one of my first member's quests was Shilo Village. I was quite happy because I had killed something 30+ levels higher than me (which was a big thing at the time... if only I knew what I know how hahaha). I probably remember it as my first (though I know I did a few easy ones before it) because it gave me access to an area not everyone could get to and was my first "big" quest since dragon slayer. My worst was probably just doing the new quest: King's Randsom. An interesting quest with cool rewards, but it was very poorly mad in many aspects and you could tell. It was also, as my friend described it, a "gimme". I guess that was to make the prayers easy to access, but still out of reach of those who play "not so well". The only solice I got from that quest is that it means that they are probably in full gear making a good quest I do want. :D Let's hear some of yours, eh? :D Edit: Changed title since most posts were about the annoyance of One Small Favor. Cowards can't block Warriors.
Embraced
Defeating the delrith with my big shiny silverlight in the Demon Slayer quest is what i remember. P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month. usahellyes
My first would have to be Sheap Shearer. My favorite...Hmm. I guess that would have to be the quest in which I first encountered a helping hand, namely, Knight's Sword. My future friend extensively helped me in that quest, after telling me the incantation for Demon Slayer. He was helping another person with both of those quests, and I was finishing up Demon Slayer and ran in to him. He then helped me with Knight's Sword, and we became friends after that. Sadly, I have now lost touch with him.

Acelgoyobis
A knight's sword was something special. Seeing my smithing jump 20-some levels in an instant was beyond belief for me.
Death2Put
Finishing One Small Favour. So. Very. Evil. I'd have to agree. One Small Favour was so much like torture, that it was amusing... if that makes sense? 108th to 99 Prayer
lewagold2
I know what you mean also. But the torture outweighed the amusement. I do like that shiny key ring though... ^Clicky for Q Cape Blog^MY SIGGIE AND BANNER SHOP

Gilformen
worst memories are from one small favour, that was a nightmare...it just took forever!!! my favorite quest so far was swan song...it was so fun, i got 60 prayer from it, and it went pretty smoothly...and the dialogue was entertaining, like when the wise old man mentions a reward and you say something about wanting his hat... 32,606th to 99 magic || 15,388th to 99 dungeoneering || 12,647th to 99 farming14,792nd to 99 range || 24,954th to 99 herblore
DeadPolkaDots1
I don't remember what my first quest was. But I remember vaguely Ernest the chicken, gawd that quest drove me insane. I got so confuzzled on those puzzles in the basement, I had to ask my bro to help me. #-o Most frustrating was Regicide, took me 2 days to finally figure out how to use that god damn distilling machine. Buying more coal and going back to the elf lands the long way each time. :x Favourite is either Lunar Diplomacy for all round plot, requirements and reward, or My Arm's Big Adventure and Cold War for quality entertainment. Quit RS to play real games. :P Bye TIF, miss you.
sweety6556
i kind of enjoyed One Small Favor *covers head* Don't hit me! but it was certainly annoying. I liked Legends, and A Soul's Bane, but my the worst one was Regicide. SO. VERY. EVIL! gah i had to go back and forth so many times...i couldn't figure out how to make the bomb. until a friend finally explained to me. Desert Treasure was also VERY fun. A friend walked me through the entire way. I love him

Stewie_Griffen
My first quest memory was Sheep Shearer. I thought I owned because I did a quest. My favorite quest memory was probably Dream Mentor. I had just gotten hacked for 11m so I was there with nooby stuff. But I still won. My worst quest memory was fighting Fareed in Desert Treasure. I forgot Ice Gloves so I punched/kicked him to death. I left with 20hp, no prayer, and no food left. But I got the Smoke Diamond. 8-)
dberg20
I remember doing Underground Pass at level 27 with 1 prayer on a new account, that was hard but fun. Another fun challenge I overcame was beating Lost City at level 3. I remember when I first beat Dragon Slayer I was overjoyed, but now I think of it as nothing more than a joke. Finally, the lengthiest one I've done is probably One Small Favour, I didn't find it as annoying as amusing. Oh, and Monkey Madness, I've beat it on three separate accounts, and every time I have made the same mistake. I've owned the demon, but when Zooknock teles me out I get owned by the spiders. Oh well. Theoknight2
my first memory was doing ernest the chicken. I couldn't figure it out at all. then I did. and I was like, "1 4m t3h 133735+." ( for those who can't speak 1337 its, I am the elitest). My Fav:Definetly heroes. I had worked so logn for the reqs to that quest, I was so happy once I had done it. then I was bored cause I couldn't think of anything else to do. My worst: I hated dt. I was no pure, so it was pretty hard. I did it though.
Wizz
I remember one of my first member's quests was Shilo Village. Acelgoyobis
I hated imp catcher for F2P, because those little buggers kept teleporting.
Aquashock
First, back in classic, i remember doing the one with farmer fred. I had a friend help me out in getting the yarn balls. My best questing memory was killing the giant in the holy grail. I actually trained my range to 40 from lvl 1 just to kill him. That was one of my favorite memories. My worst questing memory >.> well, there is 2. The slightly less worse one, back when the quest with the kalphite dagger came out, Sadinwot showed me that you can go though a maze and miss out on the monsters. I whitescreened following him, and got obliterated by [bleep]es, I nearly lost my beserker ring, fire cape, and torso >.> My WORST was during the digsite quest, i droped the explosive XD Lets just say it wasnt a happy ending. ^^Click For Monster Hunting Blog (180M+ in drops)^^

RabidChipmunk
My first was Romeo and Juliet, I felt so proud of myself. My favorite was the Fremennik Isles. I lost my connection in the final battle, but the whole quest was so fun. But I got owned harder getting to the King then actualy BY the King... My worst was Enakhra's Lament, mainly because I kept forgetting things. I didn't know I needed soft clay, a candle, and a chisel. Led me to say some very unhappy-like sentences. hellbellz
I'd say my worst quest was RFD; Evil Dave. That took like 3 days non stop! :x I really like The Elves quests, they storyline is pretty good. :)
Kimmy23
You know, I've never minded the quests where you have to gather millions of things and travel half way across the world...but one quest that I remember as purely annoying was "Sheep Herder". It was my first members quest...and it seemed like getting all those sheep into that barn, after them running away thousands of times, was one of the most torturous moments of my runescape life. Runesword760
I remember my first quest was the cook's assistiaint one. My first member quest was duridic ritual. My worst quest memory has to be sheep herder, I spent like and hour trying to herd thoes sheep in and all I got was 3k and 2 quest points. I couldn't choose a favorite quest, I have so much fun on so many of them. Here's my signature--RUNESWORD
