I grant you 1 million dollars.

A man in a black suit randomly comes up to you and hands you a heavy briefcase and proceeds to walk away. You open the case and you find 1 million dollars in it.

What do you do with it?

I would first buy a new guitar then buy a new car then put the rest away for me and anyone in my family that chooses to go to college.

Go!

I grant you 1 Millon Dollars

Thank you!

I'd certainly buy a Guitar to and some new clothes and shoes. I'd also buy some place to live, like a flat in the city. I'd certainly give a huge party, renting some cool location and have free cocktails and food for everybody. (Then again i might consider not to make the party entirely free and see if i could earn a living out of giving parties.) Guess i'd give some of it to my parents and my sister. I could give some random beggar a 100$ Note.. hehe and one to the punks that hang out on Mariahilfer StraÃÆÃâÃâ¦Ã¸e. They'd certainly put it to good use =)

I would use public transport without paying and when i get controlled, i'd pay the 60$ with a 100$ note and let him keep the rest as tip, just to insult the controll-thingy guy (however this is called in english).

Hm.. maybe i'd even buy a cool location to make parties or whatever there. I'd definitely keep a larger sum to live of for some time. I'd order pizza all the time. Yummy =)

That's all i can think of atm. I'd definitely carry some notes around me all the time, just in case an opportunity presents itself where i could do something funny with a couple of notes.

Something nice for my parents, and the rest for me.

mssigqc5.jpgI do English to Japanese and Japanese to English translation for free! Just keep it under 5 sentences, and PM me to use my fluency in Japanese to your advantage!

I'd hide it. Most probably he has just committed a crime and wants to take advantage to my ignorance in order to transfer his guilt to me, then somehow recover the money. :uhh:

Put it in the bank, sit back, and live off of the interest quite comfortably. I wouldn't be able to spend the money by myself, so I'd probably give some to mom/dad (my mom's place could really use some fixing up), but otherwise I'm not too sure. I'd probably find some organization I believe in and donate to them. And since I wouldn't have to work (although I would still go to college just so my brain doesn't completely rot), I could donate my time as well.

Something like that, I think.

Buy a Gibson Explorer, fix up my old as hell convertible...invest the rest.

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

Let's see:

-I'd take 100k and blow it all in a casino in Vegas. Luxor should be good.

- 100k would go to charity. I'm thinking medical research.

- 200k to my parents, so they won't have to worry about their pension anymore.

- 600k left to spend on a house, a speedboat (nothing too big), a Harley, 10k worth of fireworks and a week in Barcelona with friends of mine.

If anything's left after that, I'll invest it in a gadget to smack people in the face over the internet.

Take my partner out to the casino and have a weekend away.

Bank the rest until I actually know what I want to do with it.

The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
