been doing 250 today (180 on a task) + 80 yesterday (KCing at the armadyl) no boots :(

 

I might be rushing into conclusions here but it looks like the predicted "nerfing" of the dragon boots is finnaly applied...

 

yes,i know ,these numbers are too small to conclude anything but given the fact that the boots were dropped at a 80-100 mages rate at the first week of the update ,i think that maybe Jagex's feels the current 600-800k boots price is suitable for now.

 

what do you think?

I've seen people getting 5-6 boots per trip, so maybe you've just been unlucky :?

Well, for me it looks like that.

I think they were nerfed like a week ago..

 

I killed 300 with no boots.

IT happens ALL the time. Jagex puts the drop rate extremely high to get A LOT of the items into the game so we don't have a whip incident. Having them sit at 20m+ for awhile. They then drop down the drop rate, to where it should be.

well, its was just a matter of time, they couldnt keep it up until they became as common as steel. i personally havent gone to try to get any drops yet so i wouldnt really know but from the facts ingame and out id say its safe to say they are nerfed.

On the first and second day of the dungeons release, I didn't get any until 200 kills. I think it's just luck.

i got a pair in 7 kills last night

we noticed the same thing w dark bows as well.....got alot th e first week or so than after an update they become more like a whip.

 

 

 

However boots were always semi rare as opposed to really rare...so just becasue your getting 1 or 2 a task doesnt really mean they were nerfed. yOU just arent getting 7 a trip.

i think they are down to rune boots drop rate,which means u might get 0-3 per task

It's hard to tell when something nerfed, until you get a ton of people reporting it. One person, or a few people just could be bad luck.

In like the first week my mate got a pair in 170 kills.

 

 

 

Next day she went back and got none.

 

 

 

Its all luck really.

just got 4 pairs within 63 kills, so dno.

We won't really know unless someone talks to a J Mod who works on the drop rate or something. Until then we can just speculate.

So are they going to stay at 750 or raise in price? Because I was going to get a pair but they kept dropping so I was waiting. Now that they might be changing the drop rate will the price go up? If not, does anyone think they'lll get any lower?

I don't know if they have yet again lowered them but saw some person on rate this forum with a 9 boot trip, i went for a trip on thursday at zammy for a 600kill trip with only 3 boots

My friend got 3 boot drops within 4 kills earlier, it's all luck. The drop rate is the same as it was on day 1, there is no proof stating otherwise.

 

 

 

I've never seen any proof for any drop rate "nerfs" that have supposedly happened. I recently went a few thousand iron dragons without a single draogn drop, does that mean the drop was nerfed? No, it means I was unlucky.

On the first day, I got 300+ kills and only one boot drop. Today and yesterday I got 2 of them in about 50 kills. Sheer dumb luck is what it is.

To be honest, ive seen people like you whining about nerfing stuff all the time on Runescape Forums, Alot of People dont get drops.. that doesnt mean they got nerfed. You are just unlucky! :wall: :wall:

Nope. Got 2 pair of boots last night, within 40 kills.

Its just luck, I know someone the first day who got like 10s of boots.

Ya they usually nerf it after 1-2 weeks......They just want to get a good price then keep it steady.
