Do any of you own an older console which you still sometimes play for the heck of it? :) These consoles include the NES, N64, GBA, Atari 2600 and so on. If yes what games do you have with it, and which are your favorite?

I only own a GBA (classic one) that I've gotten when I was around ten. I have Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, V-rally 3, and Quad Racing for it. They are great for the chilly experience. <3: I might just pick up a Final Fantasy game for it. :P

You?

i don't have a NES anymore but I still got my N64 hooked up to play GoldenEye, Perfect Dark and MarioKart (among others).

GBC baby 8-) .

I don't have any of the old consoles, but I got some old games off the VC on my Wii.

I got a Gameboy pocket in the closet as well as a SNES sitting right beside me on my old and tiny TV, and an n64 in the other room with many good ol' games.

Your Guide to Posting! Behave or I will send my Moose mounted Beaver launchers at you!

I thought about playing some of my old DOS games the other day, maybe I'll go ahead and do that now. Maybe some SW: Rebel Assault or RAII, maybe some Tie Fighter, or possibly some Dark Forces.

I have a PC built exclusively for MS DOS games. It's a frankenstein-esque monster slapped together from old parts scavanged from computers found at garage sales. Most of the games also come from stacks of floppies I bought at garage sales, although it's padded a bit with stuff that's available from Abandonware sites. I also have Windows 3.11 installed on the machine for nostalgia's sake, but there are very few games available for it.

N64, PS1, Gameboy Color, SNES, and a NES in the attic somewhere...hm, but yeah, I get them out once in a while. I lost my Pokemon red and blue several years ago ( :( ), I miss them...but I definitely play the N64 sometimes, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Super Mario 64. No real reason to play my PS1, but I have it anyways O:) I bought the SNES not long back at some pawn shop for $15, so I only have a couple games for it...I didn't realize that all the good ones cost 30-$50 on Amazon and Ebay <.<

"El que no arriesga no gana"

Before my SNES broke, I used to play that all the time. Thank God for the virutal console though. :P

Zombies Ate My Neighbors

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Super Mario Kart

Mario Paint

Donkey Kong Country 1 & 2

I play them more than my PS2

I used to have a SNES. No idea what happened to it.

I used to have a N64. Mom gave it to some kid who was "less fortunate".

Gameboy color and pocket, both lost years and years ago.

Bye James Bond, Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Ash.

i still play my N64, its quite fun.

and original xbox but thats not really too old.

I play NES games through emulator sometimes but i don't have a hard console.

and the old gameboy color and gba.

I've gone through several Playstations, my N64 is on its last legs, but my SNES, which I bought the year it came out, still works perfectly. 8-)

Still the King....

I still play some GBC games on my Advance. If I had an NES I think I'd still play it

A Gameboy around somewhere, Gameboy Pocket aswell.

Nintendo 64 is buggered. I'm sure my dad has an old console poking around somewhere. Also a Playstation aswell that I'm gonna set up to play FFVIII

You don't need a separate PC for DOS games, just download DOSBox :D .

The oldest console that I have in my house (if you include hand held ones) is probably my game boy advance, the first one, not the sp (although I also have an sp).

I have a GBC, GBA (original, limited edition platinum..the one seen in the pic), a Sega Genesis, N64..and I have a computer that runs Windows 98 still..and I play some DOS games on it.

As my SNES died, I recently put Super Mario RPG on my PSP, and I'm currently at the Axem Rangers  one of my favorite games ever, f'real.

Dark Force>Doom. Anyone who argues is just a fanboy.

I have about half a dozen DOS games I play on DOSbox every once in a great while. Games no one has ever heard of. They came free with my computer but I love the nostalgia factor. If I played these games today without ever having played them 12-13 years ago, they would be garbage. But nostalgia is a powerful force...

Yeah, I have some games like that too. Can't remember their names now, and I can't seem to find the floppies. It was a demo disk that had Raptor and Jetpack on it. The other games were and Asteroids clone, a Missile Command clone, and a game where you have to shoot down paratroopers, and if you do well a guy delivers pizza. I loved those :D

I know about DOSBox, I just like the feeling of playing them on a computer where the power switch is still a switch, and where there's a physical key required to start it up :P
