Serekon
Is it me or does this make no sense at all considering there are tons of easy ways to make money? My thought is if you don't want to take the time to build skills and make money then why did you even bother starting to play the game anyway? I can get cash in a hirry any time I need it without begging and all I had to do was build up a few skills Runescape "Ride The Lightning" ClanWe are building the worlds largest Runescape Clan. jessy87
some times it takes effort, people are just lazy. this game is enjoyable without even a set of rune... but if u dont gotta do stuff its better yet i suppose... i dunno.
Peronix
The easy moneymaking is exactly why you should never feel sorry for beggars and give them what they want. Beggars in RSC at least had an excuse; it was bloody hard to make money back then, but nowadays there is no excuse. They're all just lazy, or ignorant. Lord Diddy
Its apparently takes too much brain power to realize hatchet + tree = money, same with mining. Rarely see that much begging in members, members know flax to bs is great money. Most people who beg just don't have anything better to do, and are those people who call other people noobs for playing the game efficiently while they spend hours saying phr33 st00f plawkz. Serekon
I can't understand what they would do with money anyway. If you aren't motivated enough to go get money then you aren't going to train enough levels to be able to do anything with that money anyway lol. Nul_Oblivion
Its apparently takes too much brain power to realize hatchet + tree = money, same with mining. Yeah, well I guess kids hear the expression "Money doesn't grow on trees" way too often from their parents so they think that it doesn't apply on RuneScape either. :P Beggars have never really bothered me because I simply just turn Public Chat off or lose them by either teleporting or running away. The more people pay attention to them and tell them off, the more they'll want to keep asking. Retired Member

Danqazmlp
Beggars are the backbone of rs, What could be more fun to laugh at than walking into a bank with millions of gp worth of armour on and seeing beggars 'spot' you. Packer15
I have no problem with people who are just looking for some armor, an axe, or some advice so that they can make money themselves. The beggars that really detract from the game are the ones that refuse to make their own money, or even to learn how. They would rather bug some poor level 114 until he has to change worlds. Mayjest
When people beg me I give them advice, tell them ways of making money. It helps them more in the long run. If they ignore my advice, then it's not exactly my problem. Goals to get my skills back up to a barely respectable level on the high scores: Currently going for Bone to Peaches spell. It's amazing how boring doing the same repetitive task is! Stupid MTA
