Just a minute ago, i loaded up my reach as per usual. When i loaded it up, it offered me the screen that was first shown to all of us, about 'joining up to the unsc' and giving me the option to be a male or female, not paying much attention i just clicked male and continued on my way. When i got on i found all my armour had reset (+emblem and colour). I still had my unlocked items and credits so i wasnt bothered, along with my rank. My one problem is that it completely reset my campaign process, i had already done most the missions on solo legendary, and now it looks like i have to do it all again! Anyone got any advice on a way to revert this?!

^ KDR is on your main service record page on bungie.net, it's next to your spartan armour model, it should say "Matchmaking MP Kills [number] ([KD ratio])"

No help on the campaign (I think it's stuck like that), but everything else went back to normal for me after about a day. Just have to re-equip all of your armor.

wow, i'm really trying to enjoy the multiplayer but i get so frustrated sometimes... i'm tired of playing nothing but SWAT and snipers. it's all anybody ever picks, goddam.

I guess it depends on the match styles you favour though as well. If you play those zombie ones your KDR drops quite a bit, and similar with games like oddball. I think I'll start playing Invasion more, even though it's teams which I dislike due to quitters. It's alright though, winning a majority of the games.

I am unsure why people care about K/D so much at times. I could have the lowest possible K/D, but if I am having fun, that is all I care about.

I guess it means some people have fun seeing how many they can kill without dying.

So I looked on Bungie's forums today and saw a thread for "legitimate cR boosting" (or something along those lines.) Read a few of them, and tried the gruntpocalypse one.

 

How can people stand to do that for hours on end? IT'S SO [bleep]ING BORING. Although the headshots are nice. Other than that, just seems like too much of a grind.

My K/D is .67, which is mainly due to playing a lot of infection and other game types which I get stuck in.

It's pathetic what people will do to get these kind of things, that's what I'm saying. Spending hours grinding xp is just stupid.

I'll do the Heroic ONI swordbase cR exploit just so I can get the Grunt Birthday armor effect.

 

Also, being in a party chat while in a part chat really helps with the bordem in Gruntpocalypse.

I haven't played much through of Reach, but my Arena Rank is around 1550. Is that good?

 

I think I'm going to buy Reach... I hate 90% of people on XBL but the game play looks awesome enough to make up for that. And if it doesn't, I think I would just spend hours in forge.
