October 5, 200718 yr Two words... Liberty [bleep]es. \../, I rest my case. :P [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
October 5, 200718 yr People can have how they want it... short, shaved, long, dreads... I got long hair, 65-70cm and it's growing and growing. I usually have it in a ponytail (hate this name). Problem is that it's very thin and my hairline is constantly moving backwards and i'm only 19... hah, what a future. J'adore aussi le sexe et les snuff moviesJe trouve que ce sont des purs moments de vieJe ne me reconnais plus dans les gensJe suis juste un cas désespérantEt comme personne ne viendra me réclamerJe terminerai comme un objet retrouvé
October 5, 200718 yr I don't mind men with long hair so long as they have cute faces and suit it. I even like dreds on a guy so long as he has a nice face and suits it. Mine is long, half way down my back. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
October 5, 200718 yr some people here know what my hair looks like, its about 18 inches long, but it rarely touches my shoulders, because it curls up in springs. I can also tie it back now. :D
October 5, 200718 yr I had long hair for 2 or 3 years. Then I donated to Locks of Love. If you're cutting long hair, always donate it. :D Cowards can't block Warriors.
October 5, 200718 yr I like it, I had it to my shoulders once and plan to have it there again, Hehe...
October 5, 200718 yr My hair is very long. I haven't cut it in about five years. As for guys with long hair, I absolutely love it. I think it's very very sexy.
October 5, 200718 yr I have long hair and I really like it. I don't like it in my face or anything; I just like my hair being long. It gets disgusting when you don't shower daily, comb it etc. but I do so... Hmm bangs are a couple inches past my chin (brush them to the side) and back is past my shoulders. My school is crazy and makes me wear it in a pony tail, kind of funny. Oh well, hair is nice and it's really the only way to individualize yourself in a private school setting like what I'm in. Yay for -clean- long hair.
October 5, 200718 yr I've had it, but I prefer short. Not so much work. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
October 5, 200718 yr I have long hair, and I love it. Some men look great with long hair, some don't. But I don't think I could stand a man with longer hair than me . Also, it takes a lot of care. Unkempt long hair is really unsightly. That brazilian nut cream rocks, I use it too! Conditioners/shampoos with coconut milk are fab too. This stuff is great and it smells fantastic...
October 5, 200718 yr Meh, my hairs curly, but I can grow it long, just abnormally slowly... Usually I end up with a demented arfo thing though :| Doomy edit: I like sheep
October 5, 200718 yr Several people have long hair at my school. The school rule is, if it touches your collar then it is too long, i'm inclined to agree. I prefer short hair really as my hair is naturally straight and at a long/semi-long length it just looks stupid (gah, need a haircut this weekend!). How can a school have a rule against a hairstyle/length in a modern country? :? Are they going to say "sorry, you can't enter" when you come to school in the morning, because your hair touches your shoulders? That's ridiculous and I hope by 'rule' you meant rather a social rule
October 5, 200718 yr Long hair doesn't look good on me. Short hair does. Haircut every few months for the lose.. P.S. 2,000th post. :)
October 5, 200718 yr It seems like everyone on the internet has long hair and likes metal. La lune ne garde aucune rancune.
October 5, 200718 yr Does anyone know how to get long hair to be soft and silky? It really depends on your type of hair. As for me i brush it everyday with an ordinary brush, (something like this one) just to get the loose hairs out and wash it about twice a week. with this shampoo: I buy at the body shop rather for ethical then for cosmetic reasons. (btw this particular shampoo is for dark hair only) Imo it's better not to wash your hair too often. Personally i wouldn't smear any [cabbage] into my hair other then shampoo, but that's mostly because i'm lazy (part of the reason i have long hair - brushing and washing that's it. No need for a hairdresser.). There are people out there who swear on brushing frequently and long (like 100 strokes). I guess that would actually really be good for the hair (you'd need to use a soft brush though, unlike the one i posted the picture of), but again i'm too lazy for such things. Besides i'm a guy after all. My sister still envies me for my hair and i hardly put any effort into it. Guess i just have naturally good looking hair, or maybe it's because i don't wash it daily, wich might destroy the natural fat layer on the hair. That's btw the reason why brushing is good. It distributes the fat equally. (and yes, some fat is important. If you got too little fat on your hair it looks and feels like straw - it's blunt. On the other hand you certainly don't want to fat hair...) EDIT: btw i use shampoo very sparingly. Considering that my hair looks awsome maybe shampoo should be used that way.
October 5, 200718 yr I like my hair, semi long with a fringe that i can put in my mouth. The back barely reaches my collar. ^Click Siggy for Blog^

October 5, 200718 yr Mmyea, gotta be careful with brushing your hair often. It's true you should try to get the 'fat' evenly over all your hair though. But then again, the ends tend to break more if you brush too often. Brushes with metal are highly unadvisable, it's best to use a brush made with animal's hair... It's true you shouldn't wash your hair too often and it's better to brush it before washing it than after. When your hair is wet, it's very easy to damage it. Don't use too hot water for washing your hair or rinse it with cold water after your shower. Also, don't use too much shampoo. Take just a bit and make it foamy with a bit of water in your hands, then carefully wash your hair (= do not rub it in like a madman). Another tip for long hair folks: moisturize! Use conditioners and spray water ("mist") on your hair (esp. the ends) every morning and evening. Especially people with curly hair get split and dry ends very easily. If your hair is quite long, best not sleep with it loose. Make a ponytail, or a braid. Best to use a band without a metal clipping, because the metal damages your hair. Have it cut regularly, if just a little bit, to get rid of split ends. Buuuut then again, all this advice may be a bit over the top for men :D. Never thought I'd be sharing my hair-secrets on Tip.It forum...
October 5, 200718 yr Mine is down to my shoulderblades right now... Bad camera, but the general idea is there... As for grooming, I generally use this: I know it seems silly, but it's really good. Besides washing with that, the only real grooming I do is brushing it regularly, and occasionally trimming the wild hairs at the back of my neck. October 5, 200718 yr Buuuut then again, all this advice may be a bit over the top for men :D. Yeah. Especially the moisturization... Never thought I'd be sharing my hair-secrets on Tip.It forum... Me neither...

That's ridiculous and I hope by 'rule' you meant rather a social rule Well do you think it would be acceptable for people to turn up with skin heads? Or liberty [bleep]es? Conformity and looking smart is part of some schools. It's why they have uniforms. I don't see why long hair should be banned though, just distracting/ unusual styles. Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar!

That's ridiculous and I hope by 'rule' you meant rather a social rule Well do you think it would be acceptable for people to turn up with skin heads? Or liberty [bleep]es? Yeah... :| I can actually name a few people from high school that had 'skin heads' and 1 or 2 with 'liberty [bleep]es', it was a quite diverse school, not to mention all kinds of dressing styles... It's their choice really, are people who don't conform to 'standards' inferior somehow? Though that was in scandinavia so I have no idea if US schools would scream in horror if a school was fully diverse; I beg to differ as I'm quite aware of the state of high schools/colleges in the US... I don't think schools with uniform requirements even exist in western countries on the exception of US and Great Britain... Not even private ones. I'm nearly 100% sure they don't exist in nordic countries which are highly democratic and free.

It's more like if you have no hair or hair past your shoulders you get sent home but I've never heard of it happening...
