Bini
F2p is going downhill because you met 2 Idiots in F2p? :XD: F2p is not going downhill, as some people may have noticed Jagex is actually doing something about the Macro problem. Of course F2p has gone downhill since Mass-Macroing came to RuneScape but not because you met 2 imnature people. If Jagex for some reason decides to make people pay to play on the F2p worlds, I would do it because unlike some of you that have posted I don't let some immature people take decisions for me or destroy my gameplay experience. The only problem I can see in F2p is the Macroers which are not such a big problem for Members since Members have acces to P2p worlds where they can cut Yews without 20 Macroers surrounding them instead they are a problem for F2p players. Why do you complain about F2p when you have acces to P2p? Instead spend some more time in P2p and when someone bugs you there come and tell us here. mememe513
F2P HAS gone downhill. F2P should NOT be removed You don't look at the wider picture, a lot of F2Per's are kind, and they make up about 20% of the F2P population. So go to guilds to ignore the annoyances of the other 80%. qeltar
Gone downhill? I've been playing nearly two years and it was below sea level when I started. I used to only go to f2p to sell things like rune scimmys, and now I alch them instead -- not worth it for a few more coins. Bini
F2P started out on a pretty flat slope tbh :P That can't be and isn't true. RuneScape was only F2p in the beggining and it got bigger and better with time, that's why we now got a P2p version. The bad things started to happen when Mass-Macroing came into the game. Guest Meliau
To be honest, I haven't met a single intellectual person since I switched to F2P (because of school), about a month ago. However, if you take off any items that may attract attention to you, it's pretty tolerable. Though I do miss P2P.

Stop protecting f2p is garbage Its full with stupid, idiotic 4 year olds It doesnt matter if there is good people in the world the world is still filled with [bleep]s thats free to play for you So..what you are saying is: A game with some idiots is garbage even if the game has alot of mature players in it, it should still be destroyed. To make it more clear of what you are saying I'll use an example: A city has a high criminality rate and therefore everyone in it should die or move out insted of trying to stop the criminality. So..Instead of deleting F2p, Jagex is working on getting rid of the Macroers if you haven't noticed, just like the police are fighting criminality in the real world. You can't just destroy what has gone wrong without trying to fix it first.

Again, the common stereotype that since most of the free players are bad (don't worry I won't use statistics), all of them are. Like a few other people here have stated, that is not the case. F2p can't be removed, otherwise there would be no p2p. The ULTIMATE Runescape weapon

leapfrog
Why base your opinions of a world on its very worst places, Karamja, and Draynor. Karamja has been known to be very bad for a long time, because people there are bored, so they make conversation the best they can, usually becoming a flame war/gross discussion. And Lumbridge... don't even get me started. Honestly, what did you expect? It's the same way with willows. Draynor willows are actually quite nice if there's a few high levels there. Usually if there's a couple mature people, then it makes the rest of the place better. Don't be like "z0mg this isn't true, because I spent 3 months of my life at those willows, and it really wasn't that bad. However, if there's the low levels there just trying to make money, it won't be fun, because they're bored and look for a fight. Why go to the worst part of town to judge it all? Try any of the guilds, or even a place like Crandor island, or my favorite city, Falador. Some of the members on this forum are even more ignorant than f2p. I mean honestly, you can't even talk in complete sentences, yet you call f2p'ers "stupid, idiotic 4 year olds?" Go back to members, even f2p doesn't want you. You should know who you are. I guess cause I never saw the need. I also felt that if I moved into the version of the game that was always changing that it would in some way invalidate the work that I had already put into my account. Soma2035
I don't know. A few days ago, I caught a few thousand trout and salmon and cooked em to get up to 94 cooking (yea, I don't like buying cooking xp). I decided I wouldn't ever use em, took em to f2p and divided them evenly to the first three players I met. The first said "Thanks" and left without another word. The second said "Wow omg thanks a lot!" and again, walked away. And the third politely asked "Do you happen to have any more?" When I told him no, he politely thanked me anyways and left. It's not all that bad. Either that or I was really lucky. I honestly expected at least one of the three to flame me for not giving enough or call me an idiot to give away so much food. NJE03
I love how you base your opinion of a whole community on a few bad eggs. That is not the best way to form an opinion. I make plenty of good friends in f2p and rarely encounter the type of people you have described. Keep in mind, the same people you see in f2p are the same people you could find in p2p worlds, the only difference is 5 dollars.
