i love the reaper's house and the emote but not the hood. the hood just look like a normal hood execpt that it hides your face completely. destroyed the hood(it automatic goes into the POH when it is destroyed anyway) 5 min after i got it since there is no point wearing it when every1 else is wearing it (just my opinion...)

That was a really nice event, and I hope the F2P can enjoy it with out whining too much about not having enough bank space (hey, I dont have enough bank space for all my mining/crafting/farming/runes/stuff either, I drop my holiday items too)

i think the last bit of the event was the most fun-est (is that even a word?)

Disappointed with the hood, and imo the emote is too short. Not my favourite event either, i felt the maze was too easy and the "assault course" was too straight forward and boring. The Diary minigame hardly tested my braincells either.

Remember, Jagex disgined this game for kids so it it easy for them. BUT WAIT! Arnt we all suppost to be over 13, im sure they can come up with better stuff than that.

Well I liked the event more then the reward. The hood doesn't seem to fit with anything in f2p and the emote is kinda short. But I'm not complaining.(Even tho it may seem so.)

Are you getting angry at the community just because they don't agree with YOUR OPINION? To be honest, you don't even know if the fremmenick achievemnet diary would have better rewards than the Varrock Diary. Also, who said that the broom would allow you to hover on it indefinitely? For all we know, it could have been a short emote similar to the rubber chicken dance.

 

 

 

I suggest that anybody who argues that the public opinion is garbage should get off their high horses, and quit deciding what is right and wrong for a community much larger than their over inflated egos.

But i still can't understand, who voted for a hood and not for a broom which can fly ... But event was fun, could be longer but still :thumbsup:

The fact of the matter was, 90% of all mid to high levels (100-126) I talked to wanted the Fremmenik Area, as it is far more vast than the Varrock Area and offers a much wider range of challenges. Most of the people who voted for the Varrock Diary were either swayed by the recent graphical update or they thought it would be easy.

 

 

 

Quite honestly, I think Jagex should place a skills requirement on Guaranteed Content polls, where you can only vote if you are either 100+ combat or you have 1300+ total level. This would give Jagex a much better idea of what is best for the game, as people at or above those requirements are vastly more experienced with the game (and are more inclined to know what is good for the game) than level 60s with under 1k total.

 

 

 

Why do you think that people vote for representatives to make choices for them? Those representatives are more qualified and have more insight than the "average Joe" on what would benefit the populus. The same should apply to the GC polls... Higher levels typically have more insight on what the game needs so they should therefore be the ones to decide the fate of the updates.

Got the emote and hood. Eh, nothing too exciting, another emote to add to the list.

in heindsight this was a really short event.i think jagex knew it was short and they screwed up so they made you do the whole course all over again.They could have made the clues more descrete instead of highlighting human eye and shelve to indicate their corresponding places.

 

 

 

The hood is rather neat in my oppinion.its not the slayer hood which doesnt show the face and its pretty unique.The zombie emote wasnt what i was expecting at all.i was thing a huge fist punching or bursting out of the ground a lot like the new spirit tree animation only with a zombie fist.

I have a niggling feeling there's a surprise in store.

 

 

 

In the history of these "new" holiday events halloween has always come out the week of halloween, as late as the 30th of october.

 

 

 

Holiday events generally last 2 weeks and we get told this in the news post.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now this event hasn't done any of these. It doesn't give an end date, its come out a full week 1/2 before halloween and it doesn't say how long it will last.
