You get 99 summon and complete a hard quest to gain the ability to summon Jesus, who splits the waters allowing you to walk to a new port town where you unlock the sailing skill. That's the big burden that carrying Tuna Potatoe's holds? =\ And as for the place holders being mentioned earlier for loot, the potatoe's can be a good guideline. On the other hand, if it was good experience I would care. But, it is still cheating so either way it's bad. I've done over 30 solo mage trips with just one Dragon axe and two warrior rings. #-o This was a horrible trip as well.
