They end up paying 5 times the price they would have paid on a normal day just to get the exp a bit faster. IMO exp weekends are best spent doing non buyable skills. Also, doesn't wearing void really effect your spec damage, since you don't get the bonus because claws remove deflector? Or do you waste a lot of inv and bring a void melee helm + body? Not worth all the lost bonuses, just for a few claw specs. Even in Arma, claws hit 60-70% of the time, at least that's my experience. Everyone is forgetting that we're building our Nex setups off range, not melee. 99% of the kill is ranging, therefore the focus should be on max range bonus. Also, I think without ACP/Deflector, void isn't really worth the lost defence and extra switch. Because there's no way in hell I'll be able to afford Claws + thousands of brews + arma + Ceremonial robes + spectral + still have enough to get my last level of summoning to use a Yak. Why would you even melee ice? That's just asking for taking more damage.... Edit: @999134th's vid: Nothing personal, but that wasn't worth bumping into this page. Idk what software you use, but it has an option to change how much quality percentage. Right now you have pixels from previous frames in the next frames, making it look horrible. Yeah okay Jagex, cool. But I was mainly referring to the "Contain This!" attack. At least when ranging, you have some distance between you and her. Whereas with melee, you're right next to her. And if your net sucks, you lag, server lag, anything at all...you're hit.
