truth. no idea what causes it.. but when u get up to go do something else for a bit, it sometimes happens

That is what is called "passing out" :P Since it's not a common occourance for you, I'd assume that you should eat a bit of food. Low blood sugar does that.

Lol thanks m, I just thought to myself. Omg I haven't eaten anything today! before I read your post :P

Absolutely. I have hypoglycemia(sp) and naturally low blood pressure, so I have a ton of experience with passing out :P

I get dizzy and such quite a bit after sitting down or laying for an extended period of time. It's fun to jump up and try to run to someplace...of course it's potentially dangerous but y'know, you only live once.

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

I've fainted once before from what you are talking about, It's the blood rushing to your head, and that's about as in depth I'll get ::' I don't really know why.

My dA account.

.retired, as of the 1st January 2008.

I fainted once (too), during a vacation on a camping in France a few years ago. I was reading, and I had to put the dishes and glasses on the table because we were going to have dinner. I got up, and I stood for about 3 seconds. Then it all became black, and I fell down.

Voices became blurred, just like you see in the movies. :? I started to see a bit, but about 80% was still black. Like a keyhole, everything was black but there was a normal part.

My father grabbed me up pulling my arm, he thought I tripped over those annoying tent wires again

I drank a liter of Ice Tea after that :-w

Blood rush to the head. I get it real bad cos i'm prone to fainting. Best thing, if it happens, it to lie down and twiddle your toes. Been to doctors and allsorts about it cos I couldnt stop passing out when I was younger, hahah...

I think I know what you're talking about, it used to happen alot when I woke up during the summer, because sleeping for 16 hours also means not eating for 16 hours.

One time I got really dizzy and had to get down on the ground, in fear of falling, and when I did kneel down, I fell backwards and scraped my back on a can of paint (we were redecorating) and now I have a large brown spot on my back from it.

I onced made all the blood to my noggin and I fainted... woke up on the floor...

I've never fainted... I've been knocked out when a weight fell about a metre and and smacked me on the head.

Back in my teens I wasn't eating enough food or getting enough vitamin C in my body. Having extremely low blood pressure doesn't help either.

I used to be doing one thing then all of a sudden loose the colour in my eye sight, I would become very confused and black and white static dots like on a television would appear, before either fainting or having to go to sleep.

I don't know if this might be the same thing? The thing that used to fix it was a glass of orange juice.

I would also feel it after standing for long periods of time at my work and I would have to stop what I'm doing to eat a chocolate bar, before I fainted.

The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.

I love stretching my limbs after a long nap and feeling my circulation go back into high gear... never had anything quite as serious as you seem to have though. Only comparable experience for me would be black spots for a few seconds after getting up.

Yeah, it was medium convulsions. It wasn't anything hardcore, but still that's something to take note in. I think I'm going to go to the doctors to see if I have blood sugar problems. it was quite the experience though.

This happens to me all the time. I get up and put my arms up over my head to stretch, and my head feels like its expanding and my vision blacks for a moment.

As said I'm pretty sure its blood going to your head.

just today I jumped out of bed and started running but then everything when black and it felt like my eyes were going in the back of my head and I ran into the table and had to stay still for a bit

Yeah sometimes when i get up real quick my eyesight turns black around edges and i get dizzy. Usually its because of low blood pressure, low blood sugar, or just blood rushing to your head.

Lol this is insane, so many people can relate to this

Never happened to me, though, it'd be kinda creepy for it to happen.. I don't think I've ever lost consciousness, the closest to anything like this would be forgetting real life exists when playing pokemon: gold. I'd freak out and get a heart attack if my vision turned grayscale and had static dots O_O. Good thing I eat lots of calories and am active, plus I stretch(does twisting my body into strange shapes count as flexing?). So this (hopefully) won't happen to me.

Sir, the Panzerschreck squad is blocking the road!

I've never fainted but usually when I get up from relaxing and stretch, I will feel light-headed, like im going upside down and in circles.
