Cars066
you need to do 1 of two things: show your parents how miserable you are, tell them that adolescence is a great, fun time and if you miss it now you will have a hole in your life forever, it will always eat away at you. write it down, in a report or something, stating that you should be allowed to visit freinds x hours a week x times a day, and back it up with factual data (such as that kids need to be social and have freinds or they might get depressed). Be willing to comprimese too. My Music Is My Life I love all of youHurt by the coldSo hard and lonely tooWhen you don't know yourself
SanFranciscoGiants
You do all that extra school work and your grammer is still that bad? Hahaha. I sincerely hope your joking, my friend. kelem_ryu
Uh.. why even ask your parents for permission? Just do what you want, or do they hold you in a locked cell with no means of escape? How could they possibly prevent you from walking out the front door? Nicely conditioned you are... Obey!
CubeMage128
This thread is a mess. People are starting a fight about "grammar", (they seem to not know the difference between grammar and spelling) and most of the responses seem to support rebellion against the parents. Seriously, where is rebellion going to get you? When you disobey your parents, they'll only place more and more restrictions on you, because you've shown them that you aren't responsible enough to follow the rules. There must be some reason why they don't want you out at a certain time. Maybe you're very irresponsible, but you don't want to admit it. In fact, usually when people complain about something not being fair, they lie in order to make themselve seem righteous, while they know in their hearts why things are the way they are. The bottom line: You're probably not telling us the whole truth, and you probably shouldn't be seeking help on a forum dominated by liberal "rebels" anyway. Xx_Flare_xX
Hello everyone, Well I don't know about you guys but I have the strictest parents rite here. I used to be a pretty you know all around popular guy before, but now everyone does things together outside of school while I'm sitting home doing - nothing -. They might let me out,for an hour or two with my friends every 2weeks at most. Say i ask them ok i'm going to a friends house(oh btw they wont let me out after 7 basically), they will say no instantly and say its not safe enough your to young when every1 chills wit each other.. any1 know wtf i can do to make their brains better **NOTE**SPACEBAR is messed- as you can see I just helped sort out your post : i can understand why your parents don't want you to go out, to many murderers these days. it sounds like your parents are over-protective :

Ape
This is quite funny... I've only scanned over the thread, but I don't think I've seen anyone say "Just simply talk to them about it, and explain you're unhappy." That would be my suggestion, anyway. If they're good parents, they'll know that making you happy is part of their job, so they may release the pressure a little. Be independant, show how you can study, do well in school, have a girlfriend and hang out with friends all at the same time. You need to manage yourself correctly. Get a diary or something and jot[sp?] down what times you're gonna' study, what times you're gonna' go out with friends, etc. It's a perfect device, which gives your parents a sense of maturity and responsibility. If they can see you're doing that right, they'll most definately let you out later; knowing you won't be messing about outside, attracting strangers. Sorry if I went off the topic a little, didn't have much time to post. New sig to come!

fgfuyfyuiuy0
Hello everyone, Well I don;t know about you guys but I have the strictest parents rite here. They don't let me do much, ifanything with my friends. Lol. Apparently, you have never met my parents. Oh, let me list the ways: 1. Grounded for 3 months because I didn't have a job the day I turned 15. 2. I write monthly contracts. 3. Play for 30 minutes a day/watch t.v. for 30 minutes a day, keep schedule, then I have to learn for 30 minutes about whatever I was doing. So, basically if I am watching a 2 hour movie, I'd have to watch it over a 4 day period. 4. Write 3 page reports on monthly books to read (I.E Atlas Shrug, 4 hour work week, Richest man in Babylon, How to win friends and influence other people, and more! 5. Keep a weekly log of grades, report to them about it, and list the reasons why it dropped/raised. 6. Work comes before friends, so if my work calls and I made plans, they get canceled. 7. Get 3-4 hours lectures a week on what I could do to change my life/better it! 8. Watch The Secret monthly. 9. Need I say more? Now, you don't see me making a post about my parents and I would trade mine for yours any day. You know they love you and want to make your life better, so that you become successful one day (Even though it may seem bad at the time). They care about you. The whole 'not seeing your friends' thing sounds a little over exaggerated. I think we may not be getting the whole story. I <3 Gears of War 2.
