Just for reference Abelmisi, Lionheart wrote the topic, but it was his and my idea for the convo. And heck yes I remember the TifCon topic, that was epic. I've never seen a topic rise in pages that fast. Great memories, and may many more be made! You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."

Got banned for a month myself, lol :XD: Pfft, when I ban evaded, I made the account "Rebd" to get around it. Dang that one was genius. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

So many older players that have gone, so many waves of great people that have come and gone, so many legendary threads, so many events we've had on these boards. This topic should get interesting though, I'd love to hear things about the past from other people's perspectives.
November 10, 200718 yr I remember that when I first joined, I was still an immature adolescent. When I first joined, i used 2 talk like this 4 som time. However, after all the years, I'm much more mature now. I think. I did get banned once on September 17, 2002, but then again, the admin who banned me was in a bad mood, and I was unbanned after several hours. I do remember that one of the earliest version of Tip.It didn't have word filters, and moderators manually edited swear words out. Back then even guests could post! However, this was disabled after some guy flooded the board with over 3,000 offensive topics. :lol: Tip.It started using word filters when it switched to phpBB2. Not long after, Jagex added their horrible chat filter, and even Tip.It stopped updating. I called that time the "Dark Ages." We then had a back-up board at ProBoards, and then we switched to DK3 hosting. We didn't like it much since the admins didn't have full control over the forums. We moved to scapeboard.com for a long time, and I remember when someone calling himself "Bob Marly" [sic] hacked both Tip.It and Zybez. In 2004, we moved back to the Tip.It domain. Ahh, memories. "Sw_Raichu"? :lol: I joined darkwebz but it didin't last, don't remember why now. Merciful was scapeboards biggest flamer the times I joined, I remember that well. Every post he posted was a flame of some sort.. How many pages of did that religion post make? Over hundred?? I remember one aprils day prank mods made. I was so shocked about it that morning it was I had to keep watching what it was about, so I didin't go to school that morning. #-o It was something about mods and admins fighting about something and banning each other or something :XD: fun times. Reality is hundreds of times more beautiful and more interesting than delusions. Fairy tales just tend to be easier to follow than the wonderful intricacies of life.

November 10, 200718 yr I remember when [mischief] actually returned ... Loads of good discussions over the years and interesting posts. I've learned way to many things to list both about the world and myself out of the years I've frequented this forum. Communication skills, a foregin language, I was essentially introduced to my favourite hobby through tip.it. I've gained understanding both of myself and my convictions by formulating thoughts and ideas for these forums. Considering how long I've been here, this place and it's denizens has probably had a direct influence on how I am as a person today. November 10, 200718 yr I remember when my account got banned after being on these forums for like 9 months because a mod decided they were annoyed at me and wanted to ban my account (700 posts later) for having the name eelskickass. Thankfully they unbanned me and allowed me to change my name to what it is today. :) I remember Viktorkrum and his ability to be a complete whinger, and his obsession with Europe. Then him getting banned. I remember reading about the Underground Farm scam Fook set up (either at the time or shortly after - I can't remember). I remember Bubsa getting banned for a month (for reasons most didn't agree with. But that doesn't really matter now :wink: ) Though that's all which comes to mind at the moment of significance, I might add more later when I can think of it.

November 10, 200718 yr ah vik... hehe.. was funny, in a weird sort of way. I remember when DeloriaLolinc was first set up, the amount of THIS BOARD IS CRAP IM QUITTING posts rose tenfold in a about a week. And now its dead. and half of them are back I remember cadburys egg, issy2, apinagez.. a load of posters who quit soon after i started properly posting and not just lurking. This board has changed so much in the year and a half i've been here. Its rather scary.
