The best thing you can do is to not wear anything. Take off all your clothes and they won't bug you. Although if you've got a high combat level, which you have, they'll still bug you.

Ego, you were standing in Edgeville. Thsi area is populated by hundreds of pures. In my opinion, it's worse here than Lumbridge.(many of those dont know how to trade yet.)

 

I live with this everyday, i think you could handle it for one trade.

 

It's not that bad in more deserted areas, such as places with high level monsters or away from the beginning area of varock and lumbridge. I find Falador to be fairly good for this purpose.

I tried going to f2p not wearing anything once... and actually got a few people making fun of me for being high lvl and not having good armour... :wall:

From a lvl 122, I find that quite shocking. Needless to say, I actually have a clue about computers and am not afraid in the slightest.

My point: Utlise it, it breaks the monotony of f2p and can be hella fun.

The title of this thread is proves the point for me. 5 minutes. Spending such a small amount of time in one area doesn't show you a varied group off people, and in a city the people you find are more likely to be annoying. Try spending a day on an f2p world, training your skills. You'll be suprised how many nice people you meet. Just don't wear the dragon or phat lol. :lol:

Yes, F2P is annoying, but when one goes looking for problems, one generally finds them, and that's what happened here.

I think those people were just jealous that they aren't awesome enough to be a member and have that kind of stuff.

The pure F2Pers will probably have a go at this thread for sayin F2P is itself is bad. But in general it is, the proportions of Nice to Rude players is switched around a bit from p2p to f2p.

This is quiet annoying. I am pure f2p on my lvl 86 account, yes, and I don't complain about how the peopel are. I just go on what I was doing. I can't say that I haven't noticed anything different on a p2p world on my other account... You people think 5 minutes makes a difference? Well, your DEAD wrong! Some f2pers will probably beg as they have never seen that kind of armour, and WILL think your rich. It's nothing new really, just suck it up and go on with your damn life.

The sorts of people that you would want to meet in F2P are likely doing something useful rather than lingering around Lumby, Varrock or Falador. The times that I've seen members in dragon or skill capes, everyone has been quite appropriate towards them

It seems f2pers love animation. I've been f2p for about 2 weeks (only 5 days to go before I'm a member again! \ ) and I get a lot of comments about my fire cape. They seem to associate a fire cape with wealth and then proceed to beg for money.

 

 

 

However, I don't get annoyed by it much, I just pretend I don't notice them. F2p is still bearable even at a mid-high combat level like mine and wearing semi-rich stuff. In my opinion, f2p is only as bad as your opinion of it. Just go on with life and finish that trade and ignore those who are creating trouble for the mere 20 minutes spent on this alternate world. :)

Players who do the are usually not aloud to become members, and are upset about it. I've never had that happen, but I've seen it happen a million times before.

In principal I would agree. I go into f2p world wearin mid level items, (dragon items), and get spam traded, and anoyed. However, I have also meet some decent, (and even nice) f2p'ers. So basically f2p is full of nice people, but the idiots are the ones most noticed, as they are the most vocal. Im still not gona wear my guthans to f2p tho.
