November 18, 200718 yr The best thing you can do is to not wear anything. Take off all your clothes and they won't bug you. Although if you've got a high combat level, which you have, they'll still bug you. 91 is a high combat level?
November 18, 200718 yr Welcome to our world. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
November 18, 200718 yr Thought id have a go. lol.. You got lucky, only one trade? Ego, you were standing in Edgeville. Thsi area is populated by hundreds of pures. In my opinion, it's worse here than Lumbridge.(many of those dont know how to trade yet.) I live with this everyday, i think you could handle it for one trade. It's not that bad in more deserted areas, such as places with high level monsters or away from the beginning area of varock and lumbridge. I find Falador to be fairly good for this purpose. When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him. ~Jonathan SwiftWebsite Updates/Corrections here. WE APPRECIATE YOUR INPUT! November 18, 200718 yr I tried going to f2p not wearing anything once... and actually got a few people making fun of me for being high lvl and not having good armour... :wall:
November 18, 200718 yr members is no better. I apparently 'stole' some guys black dragon. He started throwing the usual insults, then logs off with a line. Goodbye, i know how to hack *cough* gonna take your items *cough* From a lvl 122, I find that quite shocking. Needless to say, I actually have a clue about computers and am not afraid in the slightest.
November 18, 200718 yr That's the whole fun of f2p, noobs you can mess with. I'm an f2p combat 94 (high by f2p standards) and I love these guys. When people follow me, I just let them. And continue to where I was heading in the first place. People ask for free stuff and trade spam me, I just say "Ok" and keep walking. Eg. Noob: "Free stuff plz" *trade request* Me: "Ok" *trade spam* Me: "Free stuff plz" See how long you can drag it on for. I was heading to edgeville once from Lumbridge (going to train on ice giants in the wild after homeporting) and some guy followed me asking to buy my armour. He followed me all the way to Draynor Manor and then I started asking to buy his armour and he walked away :P My point: Utlise it, it breaks the monotony of f2p and can be hella fun.
November 18, 200718 yr The title of this thread is proves the point for me. 5 minutes. Spending such a small amount of time in one area doesn't show you a varied group off people, and in a city the people you find are more likely to be annoying. Try spending a day on an f2p world, training your skills. You'll be suprised how many nice people you meet. Just don't wear the dragon or phat lol. [bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp

You, sir, have just converted me to your glorious methodology. ~109* *(I don't even have a name anymore, everybody just refers to my by my combat level like I'm some prisoner.) I am a tree.
November 18, 200718 yr You already said it, but wearing the blue phat + other stuff was a big mistake. If you don't want attention, don't stand out. It's honestly that simple. Just take off the stuff before you hop to f2p. Agreed. Yes, F2P is annoying, but when one goes looking for problems, one generally finds them, and that's what happened here. November 18, 200718 yr I think those people were just jealous that they aren't awesome enough to be a member and have that kind of stuff. --8727th person to achieve 99 Fishing on 8/19/2008----6012th person to achieve 99 Thieving on 10/12/2008--R.I.P. October 31, 2013 99 Fletching 7/16/2015
November 18, 200718 yr The pure F2Pers will probably have a go at this thread for sayin F2P is itself is bad. But in general it is, the proportions of Nice to Rude players is switched around a bit from p2p to f2p. But to avoid it just wear less expensive clothing and do your buisness in less crowded areas when possible.
November 18, 200718 yr This is quiet annoying. I am pure f2p on my lvl 86 account, yes, and I don't complain about how the peopel are. I just go on what I was doing. I can't say that I haven't noticed anything different on a p2p world on my other account... You people think 5 minutes makes a difference? Well, your DEAD wrong! Some f2pers will probably beg as they have never seen that kind of armour, and WILL think your rich. It's nothing new really, just suck it up and go on with your damn life. Thank you.. :wall: Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.
November 18, 200718 yr Sigh, I hate when a couple of immature kids set a bad example for us few mature f2p'ers. #-o
November 18, 200718 yr Yeah, well if you logged in with nothing, you'd be called a noob. If you log in with a phat, you get called a no-lifer. You just can't win with a bunch of moronic 10-year-olds who think they're cool by insulting others. Whenever I go on a free world, I always wear my phat, but keep chat to friends 8-) Welcome to the realm of f2p, where you'll meet lots of beggars and gold diggers. But really, aren't these pretty common in p2p as well? There are, just not as many.
November 18, 200718 yr dont expect more from people who cant spend $5 and are just jealous kids because theres no ways to make money on f2p. 4000000657th to 99 cookin555555406th to 99 flethcin
November 18, 200718 yr dont expect more from people who cant spend $5 and are just jealous kids because theres no ways to make money on f2p. You sir, are an idoit :wall: Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.
November 18, 200718 yr dont expect more from people who cant spend $5 and are just jealous kids because theres no ways to make money on f2p. You sir, are an idoit :wall: f2p has the supplies market in their hands dude, we got the weps on members so yeah +2 Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob. People in OT eat glass when they are bored.
November 18, 200718 yr The sorts of people that you would want to meet in F2P are likely doing something useful rather than lingering around Lumby, Varrock or Falador. The times that I've seen members in dragon or skill capes, everyone has been quite appropriate towards them WARNING: Prone to ramble ... but you probably already know that!1% F2P : 99% RL
November 18, 200718 yr Sigh, I hate when a couple of immature kids set a bad example for us few mature f2p'ers. #-o +1 You just can't win with a bunch of moronic 10-year-olds who think they're cool by insulting others. Can you see anything hypocritical about that statement?
November 18, 200718 yr It seems f2pers love animation. I've been f2p for about 2 weeks (only 5 days to go before I'm a member again! \ ) and I get a lot of comments about my fire cape. They seem to associate a fire cape with wealth and then proceed to beg for money. However, I don't get annoyed by it much, I just pretend I don't notice them. F2p is still bearable even at a mid-high combat level like mine and wearing semi-rich stuff. In my opinion, f2p is only as bad as your opinion of it. Just go on with life and finish that trade and ignore those who are creating trouble for the mere 20 minutes spent on this alternate world. :)
November 18, 200718 yr Players who do the are usually not aloud to become members, and are upset about it. I've never had that happen, but I've seen it happen a million times before. November 18, 200718 yr In principal I would agree. I go into f2p world wearin mid level items, (dragon items), and get spam traded, and anoyed. However, I have also meet some decent, (and even nice) f2p'ers. So basically f2p is full of nice people, but the idiots are the ones most noticed, as they are the most vocal. Im still not gona wear my guthans to f2p tho. [hide=Drops]Araxxor Eye x1 Leg pieces x2GWD: 5000 Addy bar Steam B Staff x3 Z Spear x6 Sara.
