This is a great help 4 me

38% of Tip.Iters put stupid made up statistics in their sigs. If you are one of the 62% that don't, put this in your sig.

Somewhat pointless lol? Because you can just look at the interface to see what you can wear.

Post this in~ player made guides: Monsters, moneymaking, TIPS, and other.

This is a tip. 8-)

And at 1 defense you can wear fire cape.

Dragonfire Shield

=D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Way to go! Can you please show me the 1 def pure wearing that? Cuz he probably ownz pretty damn hard.

the trick is to balance all of these methods to get 99 and either play real life or train another skill while farming.

Hey! It's not my fault Jagex made the picture for Dragonfire Shield and the Anti-dragon shield practically identical :P

EDIT:

ACTUALLY, Jagex isn't wrong, the Tip.it guide is :P

It says

"Dragonfire

Shield 0 0 0 0 0 +7 +9 +8 +2 +8 0 0

You can get this by talking to the Duke of Lumbridge in Lumbridge Castle after you have started the Dragon Slayer quest and spoken to Oziach."

in this guide!

Let me fix that...

And:

Where in the interface does it show you what you can wear?

This isn't a tip :P I want to discuss this and get more items on the list and bad ones removed

oversized.jpg[/bads]

Lol dragonfire is 75 defence :P The realy way to own is get 99 defence with no other combat stats and just own with dragonfire while other people help weaken em.

Hmm with 99 defense and nothing else owning lvl 45s should be easy

Would be. Topaz Machete the whole fight on defensive style (since topaz mechete is better than iron scimi), while in full torags and dfs. Dfs Fire blast for 10 - 25+ every minute or something like that. Doesn't seem tough.

Now, I haven't posted in quite some time, or even been to the site. But, I seem to recall some time ago, that posts like the one just above me are what is more commonly known as SPAM.

I would have a picture, but I'm lazy. :P

Thanks, exactly what I was going for.

Here's some spam.

You have to scroll down a bit to get to the prize however![/hide]

But on topic, m6c_magnum - this is a great guide for pures, but again - it belongs in Player Made Guides: Monsters, Moneymaking, and Tips.

11/10 if you include the stats of these items!

It's a good list, it could be quite useful.

To all the other posters: Please don't quote large pictures. Either edit out the image tags or hide the entire quote.

you seem to have mised out the pures favorite, climbing boots

does recipe for disaster gloves have no defence requirement? it would be hard getting them with pure stats, but whats the highest a pure can get with 1 defence?

220pxshkariwlogogt3.jpg

and yea, I'm pretty sure you can wear RFD gloves no matter what defence level, provided you can complete the quests for it

oversized.jpg[/bads]

you need 60 str for obby maul, not 70

sig312.png

angel2w.gif

correct me if im wrong.

But alot of thoose eg chostly robes you need to do quests tht require def to gain access to,therefor making them not worthy of this pointless less

I tried my best to not include quest items that either A) require defence to start or B) quests that you have to complete to get the item and give a DEF reward.

If a quest doesn't require DEF to start and you get the armor piece in the middle of the quest (without having to finish), and gives a DEF reward, I included it, as you can just get the items and not finish.

To get the Ghostly Robes, you must have the following items (with the quests in which you obtain them in parentheses).

Ring Of Visibility (Desert Treasure)

Amulet Of Ghostspeak (The Restless Ghost)

Desert Treasure:

Required:

Skills: Level 10 Slayer, 50 Firemaking, 50 Magic, 53 Thieving

The Restless Ghost has no requirements.

Quests: Digsite Quest, The Tourist Trap, Temple of Ikov, Priest in Peril, Waterfall Quest, Troll Stronghold.

....

Waterfall Quest thou not giving any def xp requires to defeat a lvl 84 foe with no magic, weapons, prayer or armour. I'm fairly sure that is near impossible to do without higher than 1 def, due to getting damaged.

But if by some miricale possible then ur gd to go

Yea, forgot about those quest requirements, too

You could always take tons of purple sweets to beat that monster :P or just keep trying and get really lucky lol

And darn, this was moved to the guides section :/ It's not really guide-material, as it's a sloppy little list with no pictures or stats lol 8-)
