My uncle is at a life threating situation

Featured Replies

My uncle is under life support at a hospital due a very severe condition. A blood vessel in his brain has tore open, he is bleeding inside his brain and has had a very bad heart attack due to the blood vessel breaking. He is currently on life support and Im praying for him. The chance of him living is slim and if he does he will never be the same. Due the condition of this if would happen to live he would be mentally ill. I didn't know him as much as I would want to about him, it seems whenever a loved one is a step away from death's door you really want to know much more than you would want to if they were perfectly fine. I have prayed each day for him. (He was diagnosed with this 1 day ago.) Our family is very loyal to him during this time. I ask God if he doesn't make it let it please be painless for him. He has been in coma since yesterday. (When it started.) I would appreciate any prayers towards him and I'm sure he would to. Further information will be provided.

I know how you feel, but I really do hope he'll be ok. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Amen, Littleboy.

Sad to hear :|, you have my "prayer".

I can understand you want sympathy, but an online forum isn't necessarily the place. I wish your grandfather luck nevertheless.

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.

I really do sympathize with you, but a prayer isn't going to do anything.

I hope he gets better however.

I don't know what's out there, but I hope that it helps your uncle.

You mean Uncle...

Anyways, I pray that your uncle survives and I hope he can make the best recovery possible.

Sounds like he had a stroke or an aneurysm. If you could find out exactly what it is, it might pay to do a little research on it and work out the best/worst outcomes/news to prepare yourself for the situation.

That being said, may your god be with him and I hope he recovers.

The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.

Oh my god I'm sorry, that condition made me think about grandfathers, and I knew it was an uncle too, my mind slipped. I apologize OP, I'm really sorry. It was a total mind thing, a mind spasm, that doesn't mean anything because I was well-aware that it was your uncle but I thought of grandfathers and accidentally wrote the latter down. I apologize.

Sounds like Cerebral Hemorrhage to me (aka aneurysm). My grandfather had a blood clot that led to the same thing. Sadly he didn't survive but his pain was absolutely minimal.

My prayers to you and your family.

Wish you and your uncle the best of luck.

But as pointed out in a video on youtube, you might as well pray to a jug of milk =\.

Yay let's challenge someones faith when they need it the most...jerk.

Anyway, I wish your uncle to best of luck.

omg, i hope he is ok. you have my deepest sympathy.

Why is it that these things only happen to those who dont deserve it?

I've had 3 close relatives die all in one week, and that really hurt at the time. And being autistic didnt help, because i just took life for granted and thought everything lived forever...till 4th septemer 2005, when my great grandparents died along with my great great uncle, and my dog... I was destroyed...

anyway, hope your Uncle makes it through this ordeal and i hope everything gets back to normal

Well said.

I'm sorry to hear your uncle's going through such difficulty. I hope for his recovery from this condition and my thoughts are with you. As others have said, a burst vessel in the brain would usually indicate some sort of stroke, which may have caused the heart attack.

Wish you and your uncle the best of luck.

was that really necessary?

Oooh that sucks, hope he survives....

If it was me I'd rather not learn everything about them, so I don't know what I've lost, so I can't really regret it.....Makes sense to me

Doomy edit: I like sheep

There's no need to be like that ok? If you don't think praying will do anything to help him, all you need to do is wish him good luck and be done. There's no reason to blatantly point out you think their prayers are useless. If someone turns to God in their time of need let them be, whether you believe He'll do anything or not.

as for the thread owner's uncle, I will keep him in my prayers. Thank god I haven't felt what its like to lose a beloved person yet, so I really do hope your family recovers, coming from the person who doesn't know what loss means yet.

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.

http://linkagg.com/ Not my site, but a simple, budding site that links often unheard-of websites that are amazing for usefulness and fun.

I've never been one for praying so I'll just wish you, your family and your Uncle the best of luck.

Don't listen to the people saying anything about God, you have your views and you shouldn't be challenged on them (especially at this time), having faith in these situations can be very helpful. Although you can't communicate with him it can still be very helpful just to sit with him. I'm not sure if it's even been proven or not but apparently people can hear things while they're in a coma so just hold his hand, talk to him, reassure him, hopefully it'll work. The best of luck to you, your family and your Uncle, hopefully he will pull through this the best he can.

Wish you and your uncle the best of luck.

Any faith's better than no faith. And this, especially, is no place to challenge that.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Can we all please stay away from debating about religion, that's not going to help duncdar2.

I hope your uncle gets better, praying at least keeps your own morale and spirit up, which will help you get through this.

He has just passed away on Sunday.(age of 44) He was an orgin donar so he will donating his orgins to people who really need them now, such as people who need another kidney or who have a faulty heart and must get another one. My mom didn't tell me unitl today. He is with god now. eusa_pray.gif

Very sorry to hear that, one positive way to think of it is his death is saving about 3-4 other peoples lives or vastly improving 3-4 other peoples lives. Best of luck to you and your family in pulling through the grief of death.

edit- that could be seen as insensitive ~pryomancer

at least his orgins will go to people who need a donar! be happy he's helping people :]
