Worst Slayer Tasks

There is no bad slayer tasks in my opinion, its your attitude and lack of knowledge(which monsters are weak to what attack, gear set-ups, locations, ect).

 

 

 

If you your locations and what gear to use, slayer is a very easy skill and tasks fly by.

Warped terrorbirds is the only task I've blacklisted.

 

Also Dust Devils I've had blacklisted for a while (they don't auto-attack, and so are a tedious task. Same with Bloodveld).

scabarites - for powerslayer theres lvl 41 agressive of them in new mummy pyramid quest, 10 mins slayer task.

 

 

 

kalphites - nope they aren't crowded, if you're hopping to w160 and then it's all yours :D

 

 

 

greater demons - no need 127cb when theres "new wilderness volcano" again w160 cause it might be crowded, but not as kalphites.

 

 

 

black dragons - chaos tunnels baby dragons make it way too fast slayer task.

 

 

 

etc etc......so anyways really little amount of tasks are actually real pain, you just need to research abit ;)

I've never been a fan of Black Demons due to the high defence and HP and I've got Gargoyles and Kalphites blacklisted.

 

 

 

Kalphites because its a pain to go out there and cannon them and Gargoyles because they hit too much.

Iron Dragons/Steel Dragons/Kalphites/Hellhounds blocked, I just really dislike those. I don't really like dark beasts either (got my first task of those today), but it's not bad enough to block them. All the other tasks Lapalok gives are pretty fun imo.

All these tasks are pretty much slow and nonprofitable unless you get lucky with a drop.

 

 

 

Waterfiends are almost impossible if you don't have high level armor and even higher stats.

 

 

 

Aquanites gives over 200k per task, without ammy drop. Scabarties are easy, fun and with generally good drops and loads of charms.

Steels (high HP, four spawns per world and lots of noob fire bolt campers)

 

Black Dragons (will probably unblock and replace with kalphites soon)

 

 

 

Btw, mith dragons are one of the best tasks there are. It takes 20 minutes tops. Just use karils + leaf sword + pure set + piety. You'll kill them pretty quickly, and you only ever get 4-8. Mithril Dragons are the easiest 15 points you can get.

 

why leaf? i always kill em prety easily with whip on task, maybe 45secs-1 min per drag

 

Metal Dragons are extremely weak to stab; somewhat like Waterfiends are to crush. I've heard of a lot of people doing this.

 

 

 

Yar so Zammy spear > Leaf Bladed Sword for mith tasks.

 

 

 

Just make sure you are antifire potted and you will just take occasional 20+ damage. :

 

At that point you might as well go full Verac; you'd probably get faster kills.

*Skeletal Wyverns: I have read countless guides for them and will unblock them in the future, but since I want 99 melee, I'll keep them blocked for now.

irons/steels due to very slow xp (steels are also hard to even get kills at), greater demons/hellhounds due to crowds (I should look into killing greaters in the volcano probably but w/e)

 

 

 

tbirds are really good xp if you cannon them but you have to chime fast so I usually play arcanists for a few days when I get them lol. I don't mind wyverns because of the charms, and black demons/dark beasts are just ownage. kalphites are good, people make too much of a fuss about getting a world really, but now I'm just raving.

I'm pretty sure I have Iron Drags, Steel Drags, Kalphites and Greater Demons (Till 127 Combat, that'll be a while :lol: ) blocked. One I unlock Scarabites I'll probably just kill Scarabs because everything on my block list I hate with a burning passion.

Atm I only have hellhounds blocked because they have no good drops and drop only gold charms, but once i save up more points steels are going on the taboo list. Maybe irons too, but I'm not sure on spot#4 because I've never had any really annoying tasks.

It's all a matter of preference. For instance, I have Black Demons, Hellhounds, and Iron Dragons blocked, but some will tell me they are amazing tasks. I just happen to hate them with a passion. :P

I've only started doing slayer again and i've found a monster that i actually hate killing these are killerwatts... I hate there location, there attack styles, the flashign screen, its all just annoying tbh. Another thing i hate are bronze dragons, Not sure why... But i just dont like them...

Turoths. They have some ok seed an herb drops, BUT

* No exciting drops (unlike Iron/steel drags)

Hellhounds - too long, too boring and in no way interesting

 

Greater demons - stupid location and the dogs are just plain annoying

 

Steel and Iron Dragons - take too long to kill for a 100+ task.

 

 

 

Honorable mentions

 

Bloodvelds - nice task too many people there atm so they take forever.

 

Goraks - just plain annoying

 

 

 

Turoths are a nice task if you do them in the poli dungeon and use a combat familiar as they do little damage and drop a large amount of herbs and seeds. The leaf bladed sword is nice as it lets you train strength on them.

Kalphites: Have to be cannoned for best xp, pathetic drops and xp anyway. Slow task other wise.

Yeah, I have Irons and Steels blocked. I might unlock Irons. I did the wish list for Fur n Seek yesterday and find I can kill Irons a lot easier than I used to, and no one really goes after them.

 

 

 

Scabarites are easy in the flat pyramid north of Nardah, south of Uzer. And Goraks due to their hyperactive aggression I find I can mow through them quickly. Maybe not great exp, but 15 slayer point in half an hour isn't too bad either.
