I was under the impression Jagex were releasing the Full/High detail mode in addition to the existing detail modes. So now instead of sacrificing detail for smoothness, we have to decide between "low" detail (which lags), or high detail (which lags even more), or fullscreen (crasheh). It kind of annoys me that low detail isn't really "low". It's just different, and more laggy. But I guess it'll get smoothened out over the next few days/weeks. Roglord Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 Yeah, normally I'm pretty quick to reccomend new hardware but when the game keeps freezing (not lagging out) on a computer with the latest Java, and an 8800GTX with the latest drivers you know there is a real issue. It cost me $900, 21' LCd flat screen monitor with 330 gb hardrive and 3gb of ram. It's gonna last me like 5 years. So it's really a good investment. I'm not even close to being rich either.
