I love the people complaining about bugs. News Flash: It's a beta version, meaning they are going to fix a lot of bugs. I think it's a great update, I'm having a hard time playing it non-fullscreen anymore. It's just not as pretty.

Yea, can't even load old runescape...From the videos on youtube it looks like they really only changed textures and stuff which I like instead of changing the looks of stuff like I thought they would...

The site updates are far more worthwhile than the graphics update for me, the old rs site was 1998 web 0.5 and some of it was amateur, now we can see why those java log in updates looks so out of place compared to the rather dull theme of the site.Ithink the site is fresh and appealing and theres some nice little web 2.0 additions thrown in there.

 

Im actually playing it with everything maxed while working on some proffesions in WoW and it actually holds up pretty well \ im runing around my POH with a few people inside for some fun and one of them had to exit the house because he fell through the fight pit :?

Try weilding and shotting a bow now. Looks [developmentally delayed]. Also why do we swing whips along behind us? Im all for better graphics, but the avatars didnt need changing as much as they have been, they could have just made them more detailed.

Change is bad when jagex rape the game just so they can make more money.

I might be quitting... this game looks too damn cartoony now, and my character looks like a girl

Its amazing how they can make soo much out of a web browser game that all downloads within minutes.

 

 

 

I might even try for fire cape or cheese cape :lol: when the beta period is over and most bugs are fixed.

 

 

 

I noticed the room in lumby where it was impossible to get out off but found out that if you opened an interface, you could walk out.

 

 

 

I lagged earlier today and as the peak time closed in, i lagged more and more.... untill i world hopped and had no lag.

 

 

 

Now i have lag when im at the ge or other crowded areas but its soo worth it!

And if Jagex is making more money because of this update, they're obviously doing something right. If enough people hated this update they'd loose money, not make more.

I've been playing on old detail- the only difference is the terrain which I don't care about

 

 

 

My character looks the same

Characters really look cartoony and lame...

 

I have yet to see any item on character that looks to me better on new graphics then on old, everything is just ugly.
