I've liked this girl for a while and we were texting back and forth today after school (our last day). So anyway, we were talking and I stopped replying because we hit a dead end in the conversation. A few minutes later I get a text from her. It said "wanna go out?" Freaking out I replied, spilling the info that I liked her for a while and that I'd love to. Yeah, "funny" thing is, she replied saying sorry. It was her nephew that sent the last one... fml.

Chances are, if that was her and not her nephew (hypothetically speaking, of course, since it was her nephew) she only wanted to hang out as friends.

 

I'm not sure. I think it was one of those lapses of judgement and/or wishful thinking. But we have since spoken so it's all good.

My girlfriend is a biter...a major one. Now, my lip is severely cracked, I have several canker sores in my mouth, and my lip has been swollen for 2 days.

 

Now, how can I cure these things quickly without having to go to the doctor every week?

ouch. once i almost did that. a girl whom i liked told me that she was going to a different school(turns out she was kidding). i was talking calmly to her and i almost said "i might as well tell you i like you cause theres no hope now". that would have been a large mistake. although i remained calm i was kinda sad on the inside. anyway i don't like her anymore and she never takes anything i say seriously so it wouldnt matter now hahahaha. wow your right though that would have been a funny story to tell.

You know how I feel about it and she said fine whatever then she was mad at me. And somehow it wound up her being allowed to hang with him. I was so upset and still am upset that everyday since that I have had a terrible stomache ache. What should I do? I don't want her hanging out with him behind my back but I don't want her to hang out with him period. She doesn't understand you just don't han out with your ex when you are currently dating. If her and her ex ended on a good note, that is, they simply decided to stop dating rather than "breaking up", then you have nothing to complain about. You can't dictate who she can and can't hang out with. You can let her know how you feel, but that's all. And not hearing texts? That happens all the time to me and my girlfriend. Turn down the jealousy a bit...

She even held onto my bag and didnt let go for awhile at one point(while its still on my back). Her friends also told me she wrote that she loved me in her diary, she denied it and then sat on her diary for the rest of the lesson.

 

I don't know what to do. :wall:

Yes, she does like you. The signs seem to point in that direction at least. I suggest you find a horse and a set of armour and ride to her house, you should then whisk her away and ride off into the sunset together.

You have the right to feel hurt, but (how long have you been together anyway?) it's probably nothing. Yes this all seems suspicious, but I wouldn't sweat it unless she continues to blantantly, and knowingly hurt you. If you come off as controlling, teenage girl law dictates that she must repeat the action to get back at you. Just calmly tell her that you're worried about the status of your relationship. If she understands, she'll either stop...or find a way to make you feel better about it. If she doesn't, I can't see your relationship making it much further with out major isues.

This would be a good time to ask her out if you're interested (which I assume you are considering if you weren't you could just as easily ignore the situation). Signs point to she likes you.

Do you want to keep your friend or the girl? If the girl is really worth the risk, tell your friend that the competition is on, and then ask her out. If she says no, be ready to accept the fact that she could be with your friend. If she's not worth it, get over her quickly so it won't be awkward with your buddy.

Don't force it out of her, just let her know that if she wants to talk about it you'll always be there for her. Try to work the jealousy too. Trust me, it's a sucky way to live.

If you want to pick the scab, yes. Sometimes it's better to just drop it. If you find it eating away at you, ask her about it later. You are half the relationship, don't you know. Don't feel like you're not allowed to voice your emotions and opinions. She'll probably bring it up on her own. If she doesn't and you stil want to discuss it (be warned, it may be a rather unpleasant conversation) then feel free to bring it up.

Ehhh... Jealously is low value, and so is suffocating her.

 

 

 

She's your girlfriend, unless you start being a [bleep] or just jealous and needy you have nothing to worry about, so don't be jealous and needy. When you're officially in a relationship you can be the nice guy, but you still need to throw in some stuff to attract her to keep the spark going. If she is hanging out with her ex, and you get jealous, you're conveying to her that he has a higher value than you and you're worried she will realize that and go for him instead.

 

 

 

If you aren't worried, you show you know you have the higher value and he doesn't matter because he doesn't stand a chance, which is attractive.

 

 

 

Personally I would just tell her I had a bad day or something, and I don't feel threatened and she can hang out with whoever she wants.

 

 

 

Why would it upset you honestly? Show her you have a high value, that she is free to hang with whoever, that you don't feel insecure about her hanging with him, and (if the relationship has only been a couple months) you have a willingness to walk away because you're a catch and can find somebody else.

As a lot of people here would say, go for it, you'll never know unless you ask right? It's better then spending all of your time wondering on what might have happened. And as Sworddude would say It's only awkward if you make it awkward, try hard and fix things if things end up going bad.
