If it were a life or death choice, I'd have to go with cute and semi-smart. First because I don't want to be with an idiot, and second because I don't want to be with someone who repulses me. I don't think it's shallow either, because a relationship doesn't work if one person constantly wants to punch the other in the face or put a paper bag over their head every time they have a conversation.

But yeah, for me to be attracted to someone they still need the physical looks to attract me at first anyway.

I can't be with an unattractive girl, no matter how smart. In fact, I feel an ugly smart girl would piss me off. Hot stupid girl would be fun for a few years, but inevitably will turn fairly ugly [and likely at a faster rate than the rest]. If she's super fun and capable of holding enjoyable conversation I'd pick hot stupid girl though. The medium of course, being my original choice is cute girl that's semi smart. I'm a realist. I'm not shooting for super models, and I'm not looking for rocket scientists. I feel cute semi-smart girl would be attractive enough to actually want to be with, while being insightful and intellectually stimulating. This would be far less irritating than the hot girl that would likely ask me about every damn thing. Of course sex drive must also be accounted for...
