Mine... Well, I met her about 10 months ago, I met her at a party and I don't know what happened, but we're really good friends. It's a long story, too long for here.

I'm willing to listen!! Well basically, one of my good friends, I knew him since I was 5. We were friends then, and then we kinda drifted apart. In fact it was runescape ( :oops: ) that brought us back together, and now he is a great friend of mine. The other one...Well, i got tricked into doing a performance with him for the schools annual dance off and we somehow ended doing it together. We both got in the finals, came 2nd, and have been friends since. that was 3 years ago. All my other friends sort of merged around that. We are definitely not the popular kids, and I like to see them get into deep [cabbage] when they do things there not supposed to. Like chucking stones and insulting various peoples mum's. We all have a great time and have the same interests

:twisted: I ruin your prediction, met most of mine randomly. : like 5 of my good friends I met coz there was a guy annoying like everyone he could, and I was tired, so I skulled my coke then threw the can at him, he called me nasty things and walked off :lol: then they started talking with me, turned out we liked alot of the same stuff.

 

 

 

I meet alot of people through them randomly adding me on myspce/MSN and they dunno how they got my email/why they added me :wall:

on topic..: I met most of my friends through school, but one of my best friends overall was the child of my mother's friend, so naturally we saw each other a lot. Stinks that we drifted so far apart now and are in totally different classes.

What does he even mean by that? It's not funny.

Most all have been through school, really, and some kids were the neighbor-man.

 

 

 

One of my best friends ever I met in 5th grade, in Italy. It was in October, so school had already started, and the teacher had asked me to show this kid the ropes, basically. What to do when it needs to be done. (Strange, I know, but it was a strange place overall). We really clicked. A lot alike, he was pretty much me to a lesser extreme and with some modifications. We used to do things like sit on the swings at recess and talk about how many people we could take out with a single grenade right into the middle of the on going basketball game. Both of us have a strong desire to join the military and are in JROTC, but he's a year ahead since I enrolled late.

 

 

 

I remember the first time he came to my house to play Halo. The American Naval base was on an island different from the one I lived on, and he lived there. So we had to take ferries to go between them. So I walked down to the port to find him and walk to my house, and he surprises me out of nowhere, excited as a nuke in Hiroshima. Good times. After I moved back to the States, we kept in touch by e-mail, but then he moved to another island and he says they don't have internet there. He's visited a few times when he's in the area, the last time being just a few weeks ago. And there's never any of that strange akwardness you usually get when you see someone you haven;t seen for a long, long time. Or is that just me that gets that feeling?

I met my best friend in Year 4, which is 3rd Grade I think?? He had migrated from England, and my teacher asked me to show him round the school. Of course I did because it meant I got out of class for the morning : :lol: . Then we pretty much hit it off from there. I found out about a month later when I invited him round that he lives two blocks away from me :lol: . We have been best bud since, even though we both have gone to different schools for the past Three and a Half Years. I see him every weekend anyway, as we have both got into Mountain Biking, although he is becoming a BMXer, which is fine.

I met my good friend in 5th grade band class. We both sat next to each other and played the alto saxophone, we started to talk, and we've been good friends ever since. He's a great guy, but, to be honest, he doesn't come off as a great guy, sometimes, and you have to have known him for a while to connect with him at all.

I met one of my friends in science club :ugeek:, that whole year i thought he was annoying until the next year we started hanging out. Another dude hung out with us and now they're my best buddies :o

I meet a lot of my friends through going to concerts and from people that are fans of my band (girls love the drummer :P ). I also know a lot of people through sports from other towns. Most of my true best friends I've been going to school with since we were in Kindergarten.

anyway i cant remember how i met some of my best friends. in third grade though, i was at a new school and didnt know anyone. i walked up to someone and just asked them "hi, my name is w/e, do you want to be friends?" and he said yes.

 

 

 

wow. its so easy to make friends at that age. if someone in high school tries that he will probably be made fun of for months.

I have pretty much maybe 4 friends, and in all honesty. I met them on runescape. Turns out they lived by me, we met up and hung out and became buds.

I met most of my friends through either school/classes or through other friends. Two have stories, though

 

 

 

The first occured sophmore year i think, I went to a math tutor (advanced tutor, it taught ahead of school as opposed to with school) and the class coincided with an SAT class upstairs. We have breaks, and during one break I went to show my 85 slayer to a friend of mine (younger) and one kid i only knew because his english class was next to mine in school came up behind me and told me he used to play rs. He picked up again after that, and we became friends (he was 123 when i met him)

 

 

 

The second i met because my friends set me up with a junior prom date junior year, since after asking a few ppl and getting no's i decided not to go. Then, we took 1st period art together the following year and have been close since

They sound like they're the same person, I'm beginning to think they might actually be. The Champ has been the first replier to several of his topics, he always defends him and uses the same [developmentally delayed]ed grammar and spelling as him. Coincidence? I think not

I don't really have many stories about meeting my friends. I first went to school two years ago, and before 2005 I had about 3 friends. I met a few people at a camp who go to the same school I now go to, so I had a few friends in my year which made it easier to meet everybody. There's onyl 50 people in my year, so everyone knows everyone else pretty much. The only one of my current friends I actually remember meeting was Lauren--I met her at said camp. We were both standing around, and I thought she was about 23 (we were both 15). I have no idea how the conversation started, but we started talking, shared names, then she started quoting Dr. Suess (my name is Sam). Awesome.

Met 2 nice guys at neighbour nowadays neither of them are my friends.

 

Met a "nice guy" on 1st grade, but he went always nuts. (If I won him in PS game, he took the controller and threw it againts the tv, then he took playstation and hit it many times.. nowadays he's still doing it and he's A BIG BRAGGER WITH HUGE EGO)

 

Met nice guy at neighbour visit and still is my friend, 2 years younger than me but, most of my friends consist of them.

 

Met another nice guy at neighbour on 5th grade, we we're good friends but then he went into liar and steal mode /His dad lived here (not anymore tho) and his mom lived 200kmish away and was only sometimes here\ never saw him again after 2 summers.

 

I met 5 awesome guys on 1st grade, on 7th grade we got separated, got 4 new buds on 7th grade = 11 friends + 1 Jerk

 

8th grade = lost all of the friends I got in school, but got 3 new.......

 

3 of those "6 awesome guys" have formed a band now.

 

 

 

And in this high school, i'll have 1 of them.. but meh, i'm not the social type.

 

Last time i visited a friend was hmm... let me see... 4 years ago?

 

 

 

But i don't really need irl friends, online friends are nice too :D
