DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?!?!

Reach my goals, namely 138 combat. pretty addicting since it takes forever to reach what you want to do.

I play for a couple reasons..

1.) Its fun

2.) Addicting

3.) Always setting a new goal to achieve

4.) For the community and people I know on Runescape, friends help so much to get through doing a not so fun skill

because i see runescape as an evolution in MMORPGs since it is made with an in-house Java engine and from the public release of RSC to right now, Jagex has come a long way and has shown us some stunning things

WoW takes a lot more skill than RS (because of keybindings and such), but once you get the hang of it, it's much for fun than RS (despite the $15/month).

Addicting, Fun, and most important..

FRIENDS <3:<3:<3:

I play it because it's not very demanding. It's one of those games where you can still get somewhere even if you are half asleep because all you do is point and click. I find it relaxing so I play it when I'm resting up for something or when I bored of something else.

Edit: Oh and because of all the updates there is always something new to do.

well, I used to be in the addicted phase, I would play RS and just about no other games but now I play RS if say I had a hard time with battlefeild today

Why do these spawn up every two weeks or so... :wall:

And besides, wouldn't this be more of a Questionaire?

I play because ive played for awhile and gained many friends plus the real life friends that still play. Also its pretty fun, and i mean its better than watching tv or doing drugs/alcohol/smoking

It's addicting and really fun to challenge your self on getting as many 99's as you can, but it can also take too much off from your life, so just keep up with the playing hours and try enjoy real life more then you enjoy runescape ;)

I also like to be very social, so if i wouldn't have any friends who played it i probably wouldn't play it at all.

I've been playing RS for about 7 years now, so it almost feels like a home on the internet to me. I'm familiar with everything and know many people, and all the memories are there for me. When I play Runescape, I feel like I'm entering another world where I can be Erichermit, a *insert profession here*. Dragon Slayer? Runecrafter? Fisherman? Explorer? Anything I want. It's fun and I always like to see what there is for me to do. I don't like goals as much as most people here, at least not long term goals. I recently set 99 fishing/cooking for me and it hasn't been all that fun. I'm going to finish them, as I'm really close, but after this I've decided to hold off on such things for a long time. Instead of worrying about fishing, or how much xp I need to get, I'm just going to look through my skills and think "Hmm, what would I like to do?" and then go do it. I probably wont stick to one thing each day, and I also probably wont make any big dramatic skill increases, but I don't really care, because It'll be fun.

Though I'll probably spend most of that time doing Slayer tasks. =P

Friendship is the last thread keeping me on runescape. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for friends I've met through the game, I would've quite a very long time ago.

I play RuneScape because it is free (F2P Ftw! (?) ) and is one hell of an addicting game. I also play it as I don't really want to spread to a new game, and have to learn everything all over again. I also play it because the people I have met through Tip.It/Blogworld have kept me going and kept my sanity.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

My brother showed me about a 2 years ago, been playing ever since.

It's addicting because it's lots easier to get rich and famous in Runescape than in real life. I'm going to have to quit before school starts, otherwise the distraction of runescape hanging over me will be too great. But maybe I can still play on weekends, but then I'd still be into the game. :|

Happy to find I'm not the only one who eats glass.

The main reason I play RuneScape is because of the friends I have online. Runescape is a fun way to hang out with the people that do play. I've heard it being reffered to as an online chat room with other things added in to pass the time.

It's also somewhat addictive. However, lately it's been getting less and less fun for me. Not sure why.

I play for the competition of being better than the people around me. I play because I like the way my rabbit-like adornments look. I play because I don't like leaving things unfinished after such a long time.
