Randox
Guess I kind of got caught up in being back to school. The weather is alternating between suck and miserable, so that's nice. Also not feeling on top of the world myself since Sunday, so hoping that passes soon. Met up with a couple old friends I haven't seen since High School graduation on Saturday though to start hammering out a friends new D&D club. It's been far too long since I've been involved with stuff like that, so quite excited on that front. I also have the same professor for a couple classes this term, and it's awesome. The man is an absolutely brilliant teacher, which is always welcome. I've also gotten a bit into World of Tanks. I'm still steadfast against World of Warplanes on the grounds of hitpoints, and I still resent the Wargaming pricing sheet (it's not a cheap game if you want to give them money) I enjoy it though, so I'm willing to put up with that, and give them a little of my money. Dizzle229
Been playing around with some airsoft rifles my brother and I got for Christmas. It's pretty fun, and I have a strange and sudden urge to vote Romney. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
Albel
For a while now I have been shaving with an electric razor. As time has gone along It has slowly been going out so i went back to standard razors...but the price for the blades is so stupid. So I started looking at different replacements. My first though was dollar shave club. The commericals for them are awesome and I almost went though with it. However a couple friends of mine showed me the art of shaving with a double edge safty razor. Went ahead and bought one on amazon and the equipment after I shaved with one. Without a doubt the best shave I have ever got even if I did have a couple cuts. Yay for new things \o/! Duff
School started. We got into groups for our final presentation in my philosophy class (at the end of the semester), and I already know two of the dudes won't do any work (I've done a group project with one of them before and I did it all, and the other straight up told us that he wasn't planning on doing any work for the class). Fantastic. Programming language class will be tough, since we'll be working with Haskell and Prolog, which all rely on recursion which I'm not too good at. 1 | My Tumblr |

RpgGamer
I have been officially relieved of my employed duties. Which begs the question - why? I gave them my blood, sweat and tears for almost 4 entire years only to be called last night and revoked of my position. I feel both free and lost. Its the only way of living I've ever known. I planned on leaving in September anyway, but to be so suddenly cut is a little jarring, especially without any reason. Huh. At least this forces my hand to apply to big boy jobs. 1 Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. Duff
^ I'm seriously considering trying those, too. I use disposable ones because they work fine for me, and I definitely hate spending 30+ dollars for every five razors if I were to buy expensive name brand stuff. If I can get a better shave with that, and spend less, I'm all for it. | My Tumblr |

You just buy new blades which are relatively inexpensive. “I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”“Do you have any regrets?”“I don’t. It seems surprising, I know, but I wouldn’t change a thing. This is how it was meant to be.”“Huh, you never really notice how lovely the day is until you realize you’ll never see it again.”“Mmmhmm.”
Randox
If you dry the razor, they'll last longer than you think. It's water that damages them, not use. Alternately, you can do as one of my highschool friends did (he suffered from 5 o'clock shadow) and just stop using shaving gel altogether. Do that twice a day and you can blow it clean, and without seeing water, I bet the blades last for like a month easy. It sounds like using sandpaper. I figure it's like using a cheese grater on your face for the first week or so, but after that I guess it's alright. Or you can use the mental image of shaving dry to make you okay with the idea of buying new blades :D

If they think I have a solid case, ill take further legal action. Valid point, there's other ways I can react to this situation, but I'd prefer not to burn bridges, its the only job I've ever had outside of volunteer work. My boss is willing to write me recommendation letters and stuff (we were pretty close) but the owners of the organization (the roots of all the mafia cracks) are the ones that decided to cut me. I'm headed there in a couple hours to pick up my last check, where I'm going to respectfully ask for my reason of termination. We'll see where it goes from there. RpgGamer depending on what state your in that might only matter if your a whistleblower. At any rate are you really on planning on sueing when you wanted to leave anyways? I'm only going to go to CEPA if I feel I need to. But that's kind of what they're counting on. I am a "whistle blower" so from what I gathered in my brief research is that I do have a fairly solid case, so long as they don't provide me with a legitimate reason for my oddly timed termination.
