Me having to blow my nose every 5 minutes because I have my third cold this winter

Third day schools been canceled in a week. Almost sucks because this was my exam week (highschool) and the second semester has been pushed from starting yesterday to starting Thursday. Boredom and weirdness have set in by having like an end of January winter break.

I wake up at around 6:30 for work, with alarms set for 6:30, 6:40 and an emergency 7am Alarm, sometimes.

 

6:30 didn't wake me up, 6:40 didn't wake me up, and apparently I forgot to set the 7am one.

Instead got woken up by a parent at 9:30 "Shouldn't you be at work?"

 

I might have been a bit late.

Another day of work for me doing jack shit cause the building is still being worked on and the staff told me to listen to music on my laptop.

9 hours of classes on Mondays was a shitty idea.

I dodged a bullet there, would have had 9 hours on Mondays too if it wasn't for one class I failed last year which I have to retake this semester, and that class is only on Mondays 9-12 and 13-16, so I have 6 hours instead of 9.

Spent $400 yesterday on some clothes and a Astro A40 headset.

 

Followed by another $100 today in pre-orders for Monster Hunter 4 and Majora's Mask 3DS.

 

It's 8 PM and I still have a terrible hangover from last night. One guy woke up in the bathroom, using his pants as a pillow. One guy woke up without remembering why the [bleep] he was lying UNDER the mattress. I made an omelette at 6.30 AM and I can't remember anything afterwards.

 

Went to troll in our former high school with my mate (the one under the mattress) after waking up. Needless to say we got jealous and condescending looks.

God how I love my weeklong winter holiday between 2 semesters in uni.

I've heard of waking up on the wrong side of the pillow, but...

In worse news, I did really shitty on my first calc midterm. I didn't think I did that bad, but apparently I was sorely mistaken. Soooo that's not good. One nice thing however is that I'm pretty sure I only need to pass with a 2.0+ instead of a 2.5+ like I needed in precalc last quarter. It just really blows doing great in highschool and pretty much great in all my other college classes, but when it comes to math I'm just like literally incapable of understanding it well at all.

One thing about calc is that you really need to practice it. Understanding it isn't enough, you need to repeat the problems enough so that you don't [bleep] up on your exams. Practicing helps you understand it too, so they go hand in hand.

 

Oh, and it's a weed out course in most schools, so don't worry about getting a C. They're trying to get you to drop.
